Last time I got an order to go, it was all wrong. Decided to try them again and they forgot my dessert. I noticed it before leaving this time. The shrimp fettuccine was not good. Cesar salad had too much dressing poured on it. The strawberry cake was not fresh like it was a few days old. Luckily the crab claws were good. But it seems take out at Stanfield's is not good and risk of missing items or quality. On a Saturday night there should have been large crowds but it was not busy. Looks to me like other people are beginning to get burned out on these mistakes. Hopefully they will decide to be a good Restraunt again. I love places like this. I had the beef tips over wild rice and the salad bar. They actually asked me how I wanted the steak cooked. Outstanding. The salad bar was fresh, had a large selection, and my only knock was that they didn't have real bacon bits. The staff was well trained, polite, and attentive. First off we waited for almost 3 hours.. then it took 20 minutes to get our drinks.. mine was terrible ..the salad bar was amazing ...Our food was delivered and my husband ordered a 10oz filet and i ordered a 5oz filet with a blackened chicken breast ....well needless to say this is not what we got.. i got a ribeye and chicken breast and he got a 5oz filet ...our check got lost or something the lady said that brought out our food .. and this is what they had left ... and sit it down in front of us and said our meal was free because of the mix up...and walked away ..we ate it but was mediocre .. my chicken was tough..well when it came to pay the server brought our check and said we can't comp your food we are just going to give you a discount...needless to say that didn't go over good with us.. First instead of asking us if we wanted something different they just brought it and sit it in front of us and left ..they never came back to the table until we were about finished to ask if we were ready for check... this all happened before 8pm tonight..Needless to say we paid and just walked out and probably won't be back..If you lost my check at least ask me if i want a ribeye before just bringing it to me without asking.. read more

We both had the filet and they were delicious! Salad bar was good too, very fresh. Service was good. Only negative was the temperature of the restaurant. It was so cold we couldn't enjoy our meal, we rushed through it just to get out of there. The air was blowing so hard on our heads that the light fixture over the table was moving. We were in town for a wedding. Stayed at the hotel adjacent to Stanfields. The hotel's front desk highly recommended so we went. The wait was long so we sat at the bar. Bartender was very pleasant. The food was delicious (soup, salad, steak, potatoes). We definitely recommend. read more

I was very disappointed in the quality of this restaurant. Our table ordered a variety of entrees and none of us were satisfied with our food. Even the cake was bad. It was very obviously old, dry, and frozen. This was extremely overpriced for the quality of food. Would not recommend. read more

Do not attempt to come here with a group larger than 4... called 3 hrs in advance to get a table for 12, ended up having to split our group into 3 booths of 4 people. Watched a group of 14 walk in and get seated right away. They try to use yelps wait list service but it showed that we were 2nd in line for 3 hrs. Food sucks too. Servers have no training. read more

Excellent meal! We used Yelp to join the waitlist early which helped with the wait time. Filet and Delmonico were both delicious, as were the mashed potatoes, fries and salad bar. Well on this visit there I would give a negative stars if possible. I called at 4:03 and was told I was put down and when I arrived was told they lost the paper where my Name and number was written on. So went ahead and put name on the list at 5:39 and several smaller groups than mine came in after us and were seated. We had 2 pregnant women and 2 young children who were getting agitated and upset that they were standing for so long. Also the 2 young hosts were standing at the thing taking selfies and making fun of the people who were standing there waiting. When asked about when we will be seated was told that there were 3 tables who have been seating for over 2 hours and 2 were seating for over an hour. I understand being busy and all. Didn't see many waitresses on the floor and some tables were waiting on their checks so they could pay. This is a good place to eat just that some of the young girls that are hostesses just stand there acting as if they know what they are doing but have to wait till an older waitress comes around to ask questions about how to seat people. Just need the hostess to be more responsive and respectful of the customers. read more

Worst service we have ever had anywhere. We waited well over 3 hours when we were told only 1hr 30 mins. Drinks never were refilled after we received our food. My server was rude and went off on my friend because she overheard him saying she was slow. She told him "I don't know who you think you are calling me slow. I better not hear that come out of your mouth again." As someone who used to serve and continues to work in customer service, this is unacceptable. At the start, I felt bad for her, knowing the restaurant had just opened, because I assumed she was new to serving. 1st things first! the staff go above and beyond! possibly the best eating experience in North Alabama. the salad bar is always stocked and fresh! grilled chicken is my *go to* order.
