So we decided to have a whole house water softener and Reverse osmosis system installed by Water Boy. In addition we had them install an ozone cold water wash system on our washer. We live in Oak Harbor, Purchased our previous Kinetico products from a business 15 miles away, Fremont Ohio in the 90's & had great service. Unfortunately they had sold out and the new business Findlay and was not very helpful when I called in with questions regarding my system, prices had went up on salt & system needs. In 2012 they weren't helpful in answering if my 7 or 8 year old RO drinking water system was compatible with new tech refrigerator. Just pressing me to buy a new one and not really explaining what was going on. Googled & called TWC, the lady that answered, was prompt, informative and professional. She had a gentleman quickly call us back for information / pricing & what tech had changed pressure needs of new refrigerators & no hard sell!!. At the time TWC was much cheaper than Findlay, and were able to even work out a trade on our old Kinetico RO. Since then, I have bought products , had some mailed to save time. I've had great service by all staff & Norb on site. I'd also like to note the old Kinetico needed to be replaced after 26 years of working beautifully in 2019. They called me and set up an appointment to review our systems. To be honest, I thought we wouldn't be able to afford fixing out stinky sulfur water. Surprisingly, they got it done at a price we could make work. They gave us quotes for a new water softener, a well pressure tank, and a electrical anode rod. Turns out, our current pressure tank didn't have a safety valve, so we chose to replace that and the anode rod. I really like the modern system they use for sending quotes online where you can select the services you want. Finally, we had a technician come out to do the repair. Based on that reputation, I expected quality installation and customer service. We purchased both a water softener and a Dr. Rust system because we were told our well water had a very high iron content. The entire purpose of the Dr. Rust system was to prevent iron staining on our brand-new white siding, stone, driveway, sidewalks, and other exterior surfaces from our irrigation system. A few months after the installation, we discovered rust staining on the exterior of our home. When a technician came out to inspect the system, he found that two wires had never been connected during installation, meaning the Dr. Rust system had not been operating since the day it was installed. I then spoke with the manager, expecting the company to take responsibility for the installation error and discuss restoring our home's exterior. Instead, I was told that we should have contacted them sooner, even though the system had never been functioning because of the installation issue. The only solution offered was to send me a bottle of rust remover. I understand that problems can happen with any installation. What disappointed me most was not that a mistake occurred, but how it was handled afterward. I expected the company to stand behind its work and help restore our property to the condition it would have been in had the system been installed correctly. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

I have never had a 50 gallon water heater! Devin told me that if I get a 50 gallon water heater, that I'll be able to run the dishwasher and the washing machine, and still be able to fill the bathtub to the top with hot water. Really? To the top?, I said. Well what about the added cost for heating a bigger tank, I asked Devin. Devin told me that peace of mind from being able to take a hot bath and run all the other appliances at the same time will far outweigh the added cost of heating up 10 extra gallons of water--which wont cost that much more. Well, Devin was right! Now I can wash my clothes, wash my dishes, and lay in my filled-to-the-top with hot water bathtub relaxing and lustening to thebother apoliances working too.
