Dropped in at Stand Up Tacos after picking up some marinated chicken at Superior. Was intrigued by their loud "Taco Tuesday" signage heralding $1.50 street style Tacos (asada, carnitas, al pastor or buche) and was hooked by the enticing smells emanating from their flat top grill, aka plancha. I chose simply- a quartet of Asada tacos, heaped with finely diced white onions and cilantro. The service was quick and pleasant. The Tacos were good, fulfilling. A Stand up value on your Stand up Tacos!

What does it take to believe in all the things you believe? Wednesday Flautas Special from #standuptacoschino

As you know, I'm a sucker for a good flauta. And this, while not the best, are a decent example of flautas for an under $10 price point for the combo on Wednesdays. It's crunchier than I like--I always think of a doughy fried flour tortilla around beef when I think flautas--but a crunchier corn tortilla is fine. But to me that ventures into taquito territory. And you do get four with the plate. The rice and beans were alright. The only letdown were the sour cream and guac, but that's easily remedied by asking them to hold it. The service and ambiance were fine; it is a joint inside a grocery store after all. But I thought it was serviceable and clean, and all the staff were very friendly. One bad point is that it had a lot of microtransactions, like charging $1 for refills on your soda and $1 for using a credit cards. If it were not for this nickel and diming, I think I would be back more often. But as it is, it really puts a bad taste in my mouth when the price isn't the price for the practices I normally do free of charge anywhere else.

Flor is always nice and welcoming once one steps in. I'll usually place my order and grab what ever items I need from Superior Grocery Store and return to find my order ready to go. Highly recommended, flavor is great, burrito portion is fulfilling and the hospitality has always been on par. Nice ambiance.

Had the burrito graving and yelp led me here. The location is inside the Superior grocery store which at first I was hesitant but gave it a try. I ordered the Carna asada wet burrito which didn't disappoint. The red sauce was nice and spicy and had toppings on top with the cheese and sauce. Overall the burrito was tasty although it could have been a little larger in size, more meat. There is a charge to use your credit card which is a downer.

The tacos here are SOOOO GOOD and such a bargain: Tues: Buche, pollo, carnitas, al pastor $1.25 / asada $1.50 Thur: Fish taco $1.25 Friday: Shrimp taco $1.25 They put plenty of protein and veggies on each taco and everything tastes fresh! I could literally eat here everyday! It's so hard to decide which I love best -- buche, fish, or shrimp! Red salsa is delicious. I perfer it better than their green. They also have a dark red salsa that is also awesome. This place is small with only a fewe tables, and located within a groxery store.

Blurry but you can make out the price for the lengua combo

Ordered the asada fries. Only wanted meat cheese and fries. The lady looked at us weird. Had to ask for her to put more cheese as there was barely any on the fries. They were ok. I wouldn't order them again. I also got the lengua combo. Husband loved it. Just wish it came with flour tortillas instead of corn. My biggest complaint is the menu prices don't match what they charge. $11 for the asada fries was charged $12.99. The lengua $13.49 was charged $15.99. I understand when online menus haven't been updated but no restaurant or fast-food should be charging more from what their menu in the establishment shows.

First time here came for lunch Right off the bat as I walked…read morein I was greeted by the cooks which of course is nice. Atmosphere was nice, music was playing. I really came for the Quesobirria tacos I ordered the combo with 3 tacos and rice and beans. Also got a regular drink that did not come with the combo. Total was around $25 which kinda crazy but I understand price for meat has gotten higher so restaurants still need to make a profit. They had three salsa this I have to say was the only downside was that none of them were actually spicy at all. I'm not sure if the one I had was the habanero one that's what it was labeled, but it did not taste nor look like habanero salsa so perhaps they just didn't have that one at the bar. Once I got my plate, it looked great Every taco had a very good portion of meat inside they were nice and seasoned. The meat was not even remotely dry. It was nice and tender and juicy. Tacos were by far the best ones I've had in this area. Their rice and beans were good as well. All in all, I definitely will be coming back. Also, I love that they have outdoor seating.

The spot smells amazing when you walk in, super welcoming, and the staff were so patient helping all three of us order. I got a combo with a red chili cheese enchilada, crunchy beef taco, chile relleno, rice, and beans. The crunchy taco was  what I wanted, like homemade but better. The enchilada was okay, not the star but not bad either. The beans were honestly delicious, and the rice was fluffy and flavorful. My sister got a carne asada torta and it was bussin'! It had Mexican sour cream and real cheese, packed with flavor. One of the best tortas I've ever tried. My mom got carne asada tacos with rice and beans plus a carnitas mulita, and the meats were super flavorful across the board. Overall experience felt like a 5-star visit because of the food and service. If I'm being picky, I'd give it a 4.5 because there weren't limes out, no diet/zero-sugar drink options besides water, and the chairs weren't super comfy. But none of that would stop me from coming back. Definitely recommend, especially if you're new to the area like me and looking for a solid, welcoming spot. We'll be back for sure.

We got sat immediately, I went to the bar and checked w the bartender and she was equipped to make my new drink, the "New York Sour!" I ordered the wings, the carne en su jugo for my food. The wings were like chili lime flavored, it wasn't bad but not for me. The chicken wings were cooked really well, it would be dope if they did like mole wings or maybe like a pepita lime dry rub, the wings were there, I just wish they had more flavor options. The carne en su jugo was very good, I love frijoles, I'm a frijolero for real and it hit all the right spots for me. I rolled my corn tortillas up and I felt like I was home again. THE WAITRESS THAT ATTENDED TO US WAS THE BEST WAITRESS I'VE HAD IN THE WHOLE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. I can't recall her name but she was just the best with service and recommendations. She had to step away for a few minutes and she handed us off to another waiter, but the crazy part??? She came back! She saw our meal out to the end and handled her business. When it was time to pay the bill she had everyone separated by seat numbers, so that process was really stress free. Exceptional service 100/10. I also really like the photographer in the restaurant deal. I usually have only seen that in the club but it works well at the restaurant too. My only wish is that they offered a digital sale of the photos. We took some cool photos with our work group but we HAD to buy the physical copy and because we fly, it's hard to store those kinds of things. Amazing job! Visit here if you're thinking about it.

I came to have a meal with coworkers, not to be sold extra stuff so the restaurant can make some more money. And when we ordered extra food to-go separately (we had separate checks), the waiter put all our food in one bag and didn't tell us. These were two identical burritos, but they put one in a plastic to-go box, and the other only wrapped with paper. When we told them these were for separate orders, the waitress brought over a paper bag for me to separate out my burrito. It just doesn't make sense why two identical orders should be done differently.

The food portions offer more plate than food and the rice comes in the shape of whatever scoop was used. After ordering more food, the waitress then told me that she should've let me know that what I ordered wasn't very popular because of the size.... Because there are only like 8 small shrimp. Beyond the problem with the portions, the taste wasn't very good. It's definitely an upgrade to Taco Bell... but consistent with Mexican food in a primarily Caucasian neighborhood. After messing up the order, they then forgot a drink I'd ordered. The restaurant was quieter than Kalaveras, which they replaced. It was much quieter and didn't have the club feel.
