Stand Up Guys were available to come next day, arrived in their time window, and were in and out very efficiently (in masks) to remove our junk. It did seem a little expensive but better than renting a truck and taking the time to haul to the dump ourselves, I think. read more

Where were these guys? Scheduled a pickup window online 4 days before junk pickup. Guy calls AFTER the pickup window to say they were out of cell service range?! How about a pay phone or landline, guys? Got Junk was prompt, thorough, and friendly. read more

Used them today after clearing out my garage. Called them this morning and they came by this afternoon. They gave me a bid and they took it all away. Very professional and courteous. read more

I used their service twice already! They are honest and fast. I do recommend them! If you are looking some one to remove any kind of junk from your garage these are the right guys! read more

The guys showed up right on time. They were super friendly, helpful, and fast. I would definitely use their services again. 10/10.

Jay and his crew were amazing! We had a ton of stuff to be removed. They broke down a goat pen, chicken coop, filled in a pond and got rid of soooo much junk from the previous owners of our house. What a difference! Thanks Jay! read more

Spoke with Jay on the phone. He agreed to come by Friday between 8-10 am to give us a quote on removing some yard debris. I waited... no show. No call to apologize or reschedule. Nothing. My time is just as valuable as their time. It is just not good sign when a business does that to you. read more

Booked an appointment between 8-10am on a Saturday morning. So we woke up by 8am and waited... and waited.... and waited. The guy calls us at 9:45am saying he's 15 minutes away. Are you kidding me?! When you say BETWEEN 8-10, you come IN BETWEEN THOSE TIMES. We have things to do, so we don't have time to wait a whole 2 hours then to have work done for another 2 houses Ridiculous, we called them back and said we weren't interested in their services anymore and the half asleep dude on the phone goes WELL YOU SCHEDULED BETWEEN 8-10, yes buddy BETWEEN, not AT 10am. Fix your damn appointment booking because at this rate you're turning into Comcast. Do not book with them. read more

We hired this company to clean up after a move of a condo we had lived in for 3 1/2 years. I paid $550 for an entire truck including dump fees. There was some problem with the schedule and they ended up coming a day later than I had requested. When they showed up, I got the feeling they were somehow subcontracted, as the truck did not say "Stand Up Guys", it was not the larger truck I'd paid for, and although I was promised 3 people, it was one guy and his roughly 14-year old son. Because they came late, I had to leave before they were done. (I know, hindsight...) My mother dropped by around the same time as I had left some potted plants out for her to take home. I chatted with her at her car and then left. She was still sitting in her car and watched the father-son duo each walk out with a garbage bag. (To save time, we had pre-bagged all trash that would fit in lawn and leaf bags and placed 90% of the items to be removed in one area.) they placed the garbage bags in the 1/3 filled truck, looked around, then literally hopped in and drove off. I am now being sued in small claims court for all the crap that got left behind by these guys. What a nightmare! I would NEVER use this service again, although to be fair, I'm still not sure this team isn't huddled in a basement with a shortwave radio just poaching all calls that come in to Stand Up Guys... read more

This was our experience: late and a bait & switch. We spoke with someone on the phone two days out and got a quote. We get 3 cubic yards of disposal for items X, Y, and Z. Price: $85 for 3CY, no problem, let's do it. Dudes show up 20 minutes after the 2 hour window, say they'll only take items X and Y for $85 even though there's plenty of room in the rig and we are way under 3CY. They try to up the price to $150 for everything. They spout some dribble about dump fees -- sorry, you're running a junk removal company. You offer a price, you stick to the price. We will not do business with this company again. read more

I was moving out of my rather large old house, and needed some junk removal before we could show the house for sale. Jay was prompt, polite, and gave me an on the spot estimate even though there was a huge tarp over most of the junk. He checked in with me and was on time to remove the junk I requested. He left no mess, and took everything that I asked him to, recycling when he could, at a very reasonable price. If you want to get rid of your junk, use a local small business with no hassle at a fair price, this is your company! read more

Jay was awesome! I had a couch, love seat, recliner and a rug that needed to be hauled to the dump. He did the entire job himself and it was amazing! No mess. Nothing else taken. i would recommend this company for quick removal of junk. Thank you! You saved my husband more work!! read more

After moving I needed to get a garage cleared out. Lots of junk that I didn't care for anymore. They were quick, on time (while they use a 2 hr windows , they do call 20min ahead of arrival) and a cost effective way to get rid of junk. I would recommend them to anyone! read more

We hired this company to pick up items. They were scheduled for 8am and at 9am I called and was told there was a problem and they had to go to another dump site but would be here by 10:30 am. I had taken the morning off work and I understood about the dump issue.. but.. at 11:45 am they called and said they were just leaving the other dump and could make it in 43 minutes. I knew it would take at least one hour getting them there at 1pm- 5 hours after agreed time. I was frustrated and told them to come the next morning. They continued to argue with me on the phone how it was not their fault, etc. That is fine, but why not be truthful at 9:00 am so I could go on to work and just reschedule for that afternoon or the next day. When they showed up the next day 1/2 hour late they wanted $375 for half a truck load, we had previously paid another company $150 for the same size. I got them down to $325 and I feel that was a rip off. It took them only 20 minutes to load and they were on their way. They seem shady to me and I would never use them again. Just look at how the owner writes back negative comments to reviewers. Never apologizes, just excuses. read more

I had high hopes. I mean with a name like "Stand Up Guys".... I called on Wednesday and left a message. I told them I needed the stuff hauled Friday. They called back and said no problem with Friday and they would go by the job site either that afternoon or the next morning so they could give me a quote. Both passed and no show or call. I called Thursday and never heard back from them. It is now Friday and I had to make other plans. Very disappointed. read more

These guys are awesome! Doing renovations on an older house and the previous tenants were some extreme hoarders that collected a bunch of junk in the back yard. Quick and reasonable estimates, and they begin work as soon as you say yes. No cash involved, as they will take card. Jay gave me a call about 20 minutes out to let me know he was on the way. Very punctual. Ran into an unexpected Yellow Jacket nest. Really big bummer they couldn't finish but, they said they'll be back again after the Yellow Jacket problem is gone. I would definitely recommend them to anyone, couldn't have asked for more! read more

The price was great, and they did an excellent job. I wasn't on site, but they had good communication.

Best pricing I could find for removing a 300 lbs air conditioner, got back to us right away when many businesses wouldn't call us back or refused to remove it. The thing was crazy heavy and we live up a bunch of stairs but these guys moved it out quickly and were super nice. read more

What a fantastic experience! We had the arduous task of cleaning out my in-laws home, where they had lived for 33 years. It was a big task! We had been blown off by two companies prior to talking to Jay at Stand Up Guys. They were responsive, respectful and reasonable. Thank you for making this no-fun process a lot easier. Would highly recommend! read more

Very professional and courteous services. The price they quote is the price you pay. The best part they sweep the area when done. Made me feel taken care of. read more

We had a built in bathtub demo, shower stall and vanity top removed. Jay came out to give a free quote and returned on time to do a great job. They were fast, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend them! read more

I scheduled an appt on their website super late last night. Less than 24 hours later my junk is gone and the price was reasonable.

What a great service! I found this company here on Yelp and was able to schedule my junk removal online. I really appreciated that I was able to find an appointment for the next day too. They called as planned before coming out, showed up on time, and provided the estimate before getting to work. They were friendly, fast, and the price was very fair. I highly recommend them! read more

I honestly was only going to give them four stars because they were late. However, after seeing the speed and quality of the work they did, I can give them a pass. They did say their truck overheated which can happen. However, their prices were excellent. They did a thorough job of cleaning up and even tried to make amends for the late factor. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend. read more

I really recommend these guys. I made a no-obligation, free appointment for a large, heavy sofa removal, and they showed on time, provided a very satisfactory quote, removed the item and did a good, careful, and quick job of it. Thanks Stand Up Guys! read more

These guys are the best! Reliable, efficient, helpful and reasonably priced.

I called and made an appointment to have some trash removed. They said they would be there between Noon and 2pm today. They Never showed up and never returned my two phone calls, asking where they were (lost? truck broke down?). Very LAME!!! read more

Jay responded immediately to my request, quoted cost & availability over the phone, gave me 2 hour window and called before arriving. Hauled couch with no problem. Very professional and reliable. I'd definitely use them again. read more

These guys are great! They showed up to give me an estimate, but I was so blown away by the rate that I had them remove the junk on the spot. They were efficient, and cleaned out everything that I needed. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone needing to clear out their stuff. read more
