    Drain Medics

    Drain Medics

I offer the highest praise for Drain Medics. If you have drain or sewer pipe issues, you will…read morelikely seek multiple opinions, inspections, and bids. You owe it to yourself to allow Drain Medics to investigate your problem and offer a solution. From our first meeting, Austin Sanchez inspired my confidence that he understood what was wrong and how to correct it. All of his employees will impress you with their hard work, and how they make all of their decisions based on what is the right thing to do. You can even see it in how they take care of their equipment. Their pricing is competitive, and they completed a difficult job in the time they had estimated. I will not call anyone but Drain Medics if I have any drain or sewer problems in the future. Neil Hammond.

Our toilets started raising up and not flushing. We had a man come over and clear the vent, which…read moreseemed to solve the problem. But then it returned. Meanwhile our drains had always been sort of slow I called Drain Medics to just look down the vent pipe to see if it had really been properly cleared. They have a visual tube to stick down pipes and see what's going on. I thought the vent pipe may not have been fully unclogged. But when Austin arrived he immediately spotted something on the front yard that changed everything. A wet patch right under our window was in fact leaking sewage. With poopoo and all! When he put the visual tube in that big drain pipe we saw the entire inside of a very corroded old cast iron pipe going all the way out some 30 feet. Austin said this rough corrosion would catch T-paper and plug it up. Then in a day or two they'd melt, but then in a few days it'd do the same thing again. Austin told us most plumbers would replace the drain pipe. That would dig up our lovely natural lawn, take several days, and would be pricey. He could do a coring out of the inner corrosion of our pipe and then coat that with a strong epoxy resin which would fix the problem. It's guaranteed for 25 years at about 3/4 the pipe-replacement price, would also save our front yard from destruction, and take only a day. We accepted. Upon further research, I found they were indeed representing the situation correctly and their prices were very reasonable. And moreover they among the few plumbers uniquely qualified to do such repair and at such a price, as this was their specialty. They showed up and did the work brilliantly. I've watched people work and have some experience in the field, and they were top notch. Everything went without a hitch. Again, I cannot praise their professionalism, friendliness, and efficacy enough. Well, a few days have passed. The drains drain faster. The toilets flush better. A job I feel really good about. I consider it among the best investments in our little old casita that we've made.

Waterway Plumbing - My newly installed water heater

I had a leaking water heater the first part of February. I got a quick response from Waterway…read morePlumbing. They send Daniel and his team to disconnect the leaking beast. Water was everywhere. I had to hire a water restoration company that was fabulous. The water restoration company came out yesterday, put in new dry wall and freshly painted baseboard. Excellent job. Today Waterway Plumbing sent out Edgar to reinstall my new water heater. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about his job. He explained things along the way. Did you know that natural gas needs a sediment trap before the gas goes into the water heater? Neither did I. He had the entire water heater back on it reconstructed pedestal, all lines hooked up in a just under two hours. Even made a recommendation about replacing the draining bib to a more reliable ball value. All the folks at Waterway Plumbing have been fantastic. Would I use them again, yes in a heartbeat. Thanks again Waterway Plumbing.

My experience with Waterway Plumbing was one of the worst service experiences I've ever had…read more The initial appointment was a disaster from the start. My service window was changed three times: first 9 AM - 1 PM, then 11 AM - 4 PM, and finally 4 PM - 7 PM. Despite all the changes, they still missed the final window. I wasn't notified that the technician was on his way until after 7 PM, and he didn't arrive until approximately 7:45 PM. The visit was supposed to address two hazard-tagged issues requiring repair. When the technician arrived, he said he didn't want to inspect the attic line because it would be "a lot of work" and instead asked for pictures the company already had. He spent less than seven minutes at my home before leaving. For issues serious enough to be hazard-tagged, the inspection felt rushed, incomplete, and unsettling. I left with little confidence the problems had been properly evaluated. Parts were ordered, and a follow-up appointment was scheduled for the following Wednesday with an 8 AM - 12 PM arrival window. I called at 8:30 AM that morning to confirm the appointment and requested notification when the technician was on the way. Despite that, the appointment was completely missed with no communication at all. I had to reschedule for the following morning. When the technician finally arrived, I was informed they were only approved to repair one of the two hazard-tagged issues. No one communicated this beforehand, resulting in even more wasted time and frustration. The biggest issue wasn't just the missed appointments. It was the complete lack of communication, accountability, and respect for my time. Multiple schedule changes, a rushed and inadequate inspection, a missed appointment with no notice, and discovering at the last minute that only half the work was approved is simply unacceptable. If you value reliability, professionalism, thorough inspections, and clear communication, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I cannot recommend Waterway Plumbing.

Bill’s Plumbing AZ - 50 gal gas Water heater replacement

So, not only with Bills Plumbing, but I will also be yelping about many of the other companies I have found on YELP. These companies show 5 stars but do not seem to offer the service or return calls. After living in Tucson for 2.5 Yrs now, I am sick and tired of being treated like this by these so called "Professional" contractors and vendors. So, I felt I had to warn potential clients of what I am finding not only with Bills Plumbing, but other unprofessional contractors and Vendors that do not want to work or care about it. I have interviewed over 10 plumbing companies with no reply, just promises, then I never hear from them. Same with Cabinet companies, drywallers, stucco companies etc. It is just mind boggling and I hear it is an issue here in Tucson. When I reached out to Bills via phone calls, and followed up with additional phone calls, never did I received a response. Also, what is is with the contractors and vendors the do not have an outgoing message to see if you are reaching the write company or not. VERY unprofessional. I want to know who I am calling. God forbid that they answer the phone with their business name. Just hello! I always ask, is this so and so company? I have a three-time rule now, you ignore me then I am moving on as it is obvious you do not need business or a job. At least let a potential client know upfront, you are either too busy or not interested then provide excuses and lies you cannot meet up too. When I had my showroom in CA, customer service was performed to all our clients, hence why were slammed due to our response. Never EVER leave a client or potential client hanging. It is rude, disrespectful, and extremely unprofessional. I told my employees ALWAYS return a call and never lie to the clients. It is harder to remember lies than the truth. Sadly, this new generation does not understand this concept or of customer service skills or professionalism. Hell, they do not even know how to sign their name in cursive. Very sad.

But He was able to fit me in for an appointment at a time that actually worked for me and I didn't have to take off from work for. Not only that but he was early! He communicates well and let me know when he was on the way and explained what the game plan was before he actually did it. His price was affordable and the quality of service was impeccable. My house is older so I always seem to have a plumbing issue and until now I've never found anyone I would consider my go to guy, but Bill's plumbing will now fill that void. Thank you again for your honesty, kindness and good work
