Staley's Club - Raymond is the goat 10/10 would come back to this bar - Bars Near Me - Turlock, California

Fantastic environment, came around 11 on 4th of july which surprisingly wasn't too busy and got to really know the bar staff and was pretty intimate but it really started filling up after midnight. there's a lot of seating and not any dancing. it was a lot more men then women in there but the staff there definitely keeps an eye out for the girls. felt so welcomed and look forward to coming back soon! Drinks were decently priced (compared to other bar/clubs) definitely ask for recommendations you might just find a new fav. read more

Tonight we had the delight of meeting Raymond. A bar could only hope to hire half the personality and capability of a bartender of the caliber he has. We laughed, drank amazing mixed drinks and shots-try his jolly rancher. Such a delight. read more

Sucks ass if you are a native ! If you aren't white or white washed you aren't excepted! My fist time and day at staleys thinking it was going to be an awesome time got rejected as soon as I got there. All I asked for was light ice and the owner made it to a big scene and turned on all the lights just to kick out a first timer instead of welcoming them. They must not care of clientele because they probably sell drugs in the bathroom just as much they sell drugs at the bar . read more

Bartender was very rude and kicked me out for doing nothing. I was simply trying to sit with some friends while they have a drink/shot and after I told her I wasn't drinking any alcohol, she told me to get out. read more

Best bar in Turlock! Literally always a good time when I come here ! I love the staff especially Raymond.

Staley's is a great small town dive bar that is full of friendly regulars. Tonight it was full of cute local women too. I don't know if the staff at Staley's reads these reviews but in case they do I want to apologize for my friend. It's partially my fault because I kept buying him drinks when I knew he was drunk but I've never been good at telling a grown man he's had too much and I didn't want to stop myself. I probably won't be back because my friend is the only reason I come to Turlock and I'm pretty sure he's 86'd after tonight. I'm sad because I really like Staley's, I guess We'll hang out at Grizzly Cafe or Wellington when I'm in town. My friend really is a good guy, he's just got some complicated shit going on right now. Again, sorry about tonight. read more

It's a choice of bars in Turlock if you don't mind the big crowds and great friendly atmosphere. The bartenders are always friendly and they do their best to serve you. It's a very clean facility, and they have a full bar as most don't. I love the juke box they have, and the variety of music they have in there system. It's a no smoking bar, so you don't have to worry about getting second hand smoking. The people that come here are mostly professionals if not they have goals. There an outside smoke area as well as parking in the back. Of all my years I've been here I've never been disappointed in coming here as it's a great to bring friends, and family. I like to thank the owner and the bartenders that do a kick butt job keeping up control with the crowds of people and not having the trash but keep the good and out with the bad. read more

So. It was my birthday, and a friend's - we are a buncha cuties, too. and welp, got charged 14$ FOR BIRTHDAY SHOTS. It's our birthday?! Bartender and security was rude. Will not come again. Happy bday to us. -_- read more

I genuinely love this place but after tonight I'm not sure if I'll ever return. The security guy and a couple of his buddies thought it would be great to get me on camera coming out of the bathroom. I feel humiliated, I had been waiting in line to use the restroom and they much rather kick me out before they kicked out any of the drunks (if I had a dick I'd do my business outside but my female body doesn't allow me otherwise). Cleary a young lady using the restroom before closing is more important than a bar full of people still drinking and trying to drink more. read more

Going to Staley's is like going to your high school reunion, which is nice because I actually didn't go to mine. I swear every time I visit Turlock and stop by Staley's I'm bound to run into a bunch of people that I went to high school with. Sometimes the chance encounters are welcome and it's an opportunity to catch up on what has been going on in our lives since the last time we have seen each other. Other times you run into someone from the past who wants to give you a piece of their mind for some perceived wrong done to them during your teen years. Either way it's a trip down memory lane when you go to Staley's. It's your standard dive bar but I'm giving it 4 stars because when I ordered shots of Patron the bartender asked me if I could wait a bit while she put the bottle on ice so it could chill. A classy move that you wouldn't expect at a dive bar where you are more likely to see people gulping down Jose Cuervo. read more

I found this bar around 4 years ago when I moved to Turlock. I worked out a deal with management to create what quickly became known as the best karaoke show in the county. The business was booming, drink were pouring and everyone who stepped into this bar on a Karaoke night left that evening with a memory of a good time that was sure to last a long time. Eventually the owner sold the place and the new owners fired staff that had been working there for over a decade. Some of the new staff are pretty damn rad and I would suggest spending some time while you are visiting this place to get to know them! Karaoke was the last in a long chain of changes to be affected but eventually even the "best thing to happen to downtown on Tuesday nights" was destroyed. The best Karaoke bar in Stanislaus county sold out to a jukebox that had karaoke on it. Charging your patrons to sing a song is absurd. After a short month of horrible sound, no mediation and a drop in sales, management thought it would be a grand idea to reinstate a Karaoke night. Unfortunately, it will never be the same. If you wish to have a fun night of karaoke in Turlock on a Tuesday, this place isn't horrible. One of the coolest bartenders is on Tuesday. They have loud speakers, newer dance songs and a decent selection of karaoke tracks. There are other bars that provide karaoke in Turlock on other nights. I suggest you try them all before making a final conclusion about the scene in this small town. I prefer the karaoke at the other places. If you read this review and agreed or disagreed, feel free to comment on it! read more

I normally like this bar. Been cutting wood and on a tractor all day and stopped in for a cold beer on a Sunday. I got one beer and the bartender was talking too some people that were much more important than myself and I tried to get her attention for 30 minutes. She looked directly at me twice while I held up my empty beer asking for another. I left a penny and walked out. read more

Staley's Club - Bars Near Me - Turlock, California

The bar has been around for such a long time. It's a cool place to stop in and grab a beer. I hear a lot of people like it. The service is kind of slow. The place is small so if it's packed, it's hard to get to the bar to order a beer. The thing I don't like about the bar is the restrooms. It's a classic dive bar. read more

By far the worst bar. I have been going to this bar since I can remember and suddenly they want to say "no tanks" at a dive bar? Who does that shit?! This bar has been icons in turlock for years. Don't change the vibe of a bar because you have no common sense. The "manager" was absolutely rude and disrespected us for questioning th "tank rules". It's fair weekend... grow the fuck up. read more
