Beer selection is very minimal. They need at least one to two microbrews on tap. The only micro brews were in a can. No Bueno.

Her customer service skills were absolutely superior from start to finish. Handling a group that size is not easy, but she moved effortlessly the entire night and never once seemed overwhelmed. Katie was personable, upbeat, attentive, and had an incredible personality that made the whole experience even better. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of, drinks stayed full, orders were right, and the atmosphere stayed fun and relaxed. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers and takes pride in what she does. This was my third or fourth visit here, and all of the waitresses have always been awesome, but this was my first experience with Katie--and in my opinion, she is the gold standard of customer service. She turned a good dinner into a memorable experience. If you visit Falcon's Lair, I highly recommend asking for Katie. She's the kind of employee every restaurant wishes they had!

The inside is dimly lit and decorated elegantly. I liked the inclusion of honeycombs in the lighting fixtures and even the ice in my drink. The darks and golds almost give Great Gatsby vibes. We all ordered a different cocktail from their signature menu. I got the Electric Nectar. The drink was a little tart and sour. The Buzzed & Bougie was very floral, and The Cusco Comb had a nice balance of flavors. Out of the 3, the Electric Nectar was probably the strongest in terms of tasting the alcohol. I don't particularly prefer sour drinks. If I were to re-order, I would get the Cusco Comb, as it fits my taste profile the most. We also ordered the Burrata to share. It came with 6 pieces of toast, which was perfect and divided evenly among the 3 of us. The burrata was delicious. The cherry gastrique added a nice touch of sweetness without being overly sweet. As time progressed, more and more people came in. By the time we left, the lounge was pretty filled.

The overall vibe of the place is nice because I love a good lounge but it was just too noisy for me that I really couldn't hear my friends too well. I would come back to give them another chance because their whiskey selection was amazing and the Paper Plane was delicious!

Fortunately, they had a table for us. Upon our arrival, I was very pleased with the restaurant's ambiance, which featured unique art designs at the entrance. The host, Cristina, welcomed us warmly and guided us to our seats by a large window. We were promptly attended to by both Cristina and Melanie, who provided us with the menu and shared some background about Vera. The dining area was bright, clean, and spacious, and the menu was simple and easy to read. I ordered a glass of Sarah's Vineyard Pinot Noir, while my daughter chose a Winter Four drink. Our meals arrived promptly. I enjoyed the Yuku Salmon Bowl, which was delightful and refreshingly fresh--I cleaned my plate! My daughter had the appetizing Ahi Tuna & Saba Noodle Bowl. We concluded our meal with Profiteroles, which were bite-sized caramelized puff pastries with the perfect amount of sweetness. Complimentary, custom-made flower arrangements were beautifully crafted by Dani, who helped make our dining experience at Vera memorable. I would like to give compliments and a shout-out to Cristina, Melanie, and Dani for their excellent service. Overall, I highly recommend Vera Restaurant as a must-visit eatery. My daughter and I truly enjoyed the peaceful ambiance and, most importantly, the excellent food!

When I got there, there were still some empty open tables, however, as I was leaving, it seems like they're just about all filled up. I got the Mr. milkman cocktail and it was pretty tasty, although I did notice how it appeared, as if there were a lot of wines and other beverages that they were out of. Even with my cocktail, they had to substitute the base with soda water, although it was still tasty. There was probably about 7 to 8 wines/sakes that were crossed out on the menu. Food came out fast, and the service was decent on that chefs end. I got the Korean Stone bowl dish, and It was pretty tasty, although fairly expensive for what it was... rice, veggies, and a little bit of beef, but I do like the concept of having a hot bowl that progressively warms up the rest of the food inside. I really do wish there was more meat inside for the price, I feel like only two or three bites had beef. One thing that I really noticed (and I think I noticed even more because I was sitting at the bar) was how servers and the bartenders spent a lot more time conversing with their friends (who were sitting at the bar) then checking in on some of the other people. Someone did approach me to put in my drink order, but I flagged down the server to put all my other food orders in. I don't think anybody came and asked how my meal was either. I do enjoy the overall ambience of the place, dim mood lighting, a minimalist esthetic, and a bar that really nicely displays some of their high end liquors.
