This was a lovely experience, The wine speaks for itself, so they sort of pour and then leave you alone to enjoy. The views are great too!

Don't mind my palm. I fell earlier on a hike. The SLV was omg!

This was our first wine tasting after a morning hike. The wines we tasted were all delicious. I'm not a white wine type but I even enjoyed it. I especially enjoyed the SLV. Pricy but it was good. Will have to wait for a special occasion to pop that bottle. The view was also gorgeous. They had huge windows so we were able to enjoy our flight and admire the view.

Tasty charcuterie plate that was served with the Estate Wine Tasting & Cave Tour. 2 people portion.

We are glad we chose Stag's Leap as one of the 4 wineries we visited during our Napa area stay. We two did the Estate Wine Tasting & Cave Tour. Very good, and we had a server, Julia, for just us two. The Cave Tour was interesting, in particular the pendulum installed in the cellars. The wines we tasted were excellent, and the cheese, sausage, dried fruit, and pickles that accompanied them were savory. Julia was attentive, and we enjoyed learning the history of Stag's Leap Wine Cellars and its vineyards from her. The experience started with a Cave tour with a glass of wine, and then a sit-down tasting in a room with a nice view of vineyards; in the room were several other groups of varying sizes, most had their own server.

Had a lovely time at Stag's Leap Wine Cellars thanks to their CA Resident Napa Neighbor Month offer in January. My husband and I enjoyed a complimentary Signature Experience where we tasted 5 wines. Inside the Cellars tasting room was comfortable seating and an incredible view of the Fay vineyard and Stag's Leap mountain. We were able to learn about their winemaking process and sustainable farming practices from our friendly and knowledgeable host.

If you enjoy red Cabernet Sauvignon wines, this is a great stop! Super neat to do the Estate Experience Wine Tasting and get to learn about the history of this winery in relation to the Judgment of Paris in 1976. The Cave dinner hall can be rented out for events and they let you walk through the cellar of lined wine barrels. Our wine guide provided excellent and personable customer service! This is a pricier vineyard stop in Napa and requires an advance reservation, however we thought it was worth it.

Four great years of the Napa friends trip. Lots of wineries to choose from and this one is my top 3 to visit. I enjoyed the scenery when we set food on the vineyard grounds all the way to our private room with a nice view of the winery. This Stag's Leap was the ultimate winery experience in taste of the wine lineup, the story of how this establishment started, and the many years and details they've dedicated themselves to the art of wine making. Of course my friends and I were one of the groups that went to the other Stags' Leap first and then made our way here. This winery by far was the best and all the wine selections given to us impressed us where several of us bought orders to gift our loved ones for the holidays. Simplistic, elegant, uniquely delicious, and a great visit for any experienced wine lover.

My mother and I came to Napa on a bucket list trip. This was our first stop of the trip, and it did not disappoint. We had a tasting with "Mo", who absolutely set the tone for the entire rest of the week. He taught us so much and shared the best wines we had and have ever tasted. Their Cabernet's are created with so much detail and science it is truly astounding. If you are a Cab lover, you HAVE to come here. We felt like from the moment we walked in the door we were treated like we were special and important. We were seated on a nice little couch and encouraged to get comfortable and relax. Such a wonderful experience. Mostly, we will never forget Mo. He truly made our whole trip. We want him to know how much we appreciate him. I am hoping to come back and visit him again someday.

I have been wanting to visit this place. I'll say that the view of the tasting room was absolutely gorgeous. I paid $204.73, full price including taxes, for a tasting for two. It was very informative but honestly didn't feel worth it. I did try one wine that I truly loved but I at the end of the day it just costs too much. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly.

It is a joy to be drinking out of these glasses, so clear, so thin

On a whim, we walked into Stag's Leap Winery. They didn't have any openings that day, so we were sadden, but they offered us a complimentary sample and let us sit outside in the warm sun overlooking the beautiful vineyard. We will definitely make a reservation to go back again!

The best wine and winery imaginable if you are a fan of cabernet. Stunningly beautiful setting. No room for another human on the 3:00 tour but not to worry. We were offered a fantastic wine to sample and, inevitably, we bought a bottle to accompany our Niku steak that we'll shop for later on in the week. I still plan to go on the tour and experience the tasting. Reservations should be made 48 hours in advance on their website.

The views and feeling you're outside while inside is unique. Unfortunately if you don't have a reservation this is taking a risk. I did not have one and only was able to have a couple glasses of wine poured by staff and walked around property. Not a very large tasting venue.

But dog friendly. Quality/Quantity - I had a hard time with the website making my appointment, it's a user issue as I am just not tech savvy. So I called and someone actually answered the phone and made my appointment for me, THANK you! We arrived 15 mins early, so we hung out in the lobby reading all the history, etc. Then Skip took us to the best view overlooking the vineyard for our tasting; see pictures! We sampled almost ALL the reds! All of which were good. See pictures. I like the fact that we did side by side tastings of many of his wines. My favorites were the 2022 Primitivo and 2021 Malbec, which we bought a few bottles of. Ambiance - Secluded private winery. Close to main Downtown Napa, but far enough away for privacy and a feeling of being far away. Appointment only, so very private and customer focused. Typically no more than 3 parties at a time. Today was considered a very busy day as there were 4 parties including us, lol. Gated private estate. 200 acres. Plenty of parking, especially since hosting only 3 guests at a time. Events - See their website. Well behaved dogs are allowed outdoors. Service - Skip is a history buff and we both talked for hours... After leaving, well really the next day (LOL), I realized that our tasting was supposed to be only 60 minutes. I guess because we got along so well, we stayed until closing! And he gave me a glass with a generous splash and let us walk the property alone after they left! So welcoming and trusting. Price - Depends on which tasting and what you buy; see their website for prices. Tastings range from $50 to $100 per person. One free designated driver allowed. Tasting fees waived with wine equivalent purchases. Hike tours $75 per person ($60 for club members). See their website for more information. And of course, I couldn't resist taking home a magnum of the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon--simply exceptional. Not surprisingly, we left with a full case of wine and the happiest memories. The reds really are the star there and we got a generous pour of each. The dip that came with our tasting was a nice labneh like dip with fresh bread and persimmon. Property is smaller but gorgeous outside and in (sleek but not too cold and bland) and the restrooms were nice as well. Would love to come back in the warmer months to enjoy the patio. I came here with a large group of ladies and we really enjoyed ourselves. Antoine was our host and we had so much fun with him! He kept us on our toes during our entire tasting. He made us laugh, told us interesting stories, and also explained each wine that we were tasting. I wouldn't say that our group was rowdy.... but we were drankin'. And you know what happens when the gals be drinkin'! Mm hmm... we got a bit excited and little loud. However, Antoine handled our large party well and we so appreciated him for it. Speaking of rowdy; this is definitely a tasting room with a youthful glow. There aren't crazy drunks and it's not super loud, but it seems like this is where the larger groups like to hang out and truly have a kick back time. It's just fun! It's a fun time. Their patio is all the rave. There were several other large parties tasting out on the patio as well that day. Their indoor tasting room is really cute. There's a smallish tasting bar inside, but the patio area is nestled amongst their lovely vineyards. The photo opportunities are endless, and Antoine was nice enough to snap some photos of us during our visit. When it comes to the wines, I definitely enjoyed their white wines more than their reds. I loved their Gewurtztraminer and their Sauvignon Blanc was tasty too. The red wines that we tasted were just okay. Even their $150 Cab Sauv tasted a bit young, but just my personal opinion.
