Since I recently moved cross-country to Chicago, I am in need for office furniture. I went with my husband hoping to find a office chair or some furniture to use until my furniture arrives via Pod in a few months. Anyway they allowed (1) free piece of furniture and also was selling preused furniture for $39 and $99 bucks. We really lucked out. My husband found a big chair for our living room for free. We purchased a huge book case for my office. In addition to these pieces, we found a rolling ottoman and a side table. We were thrilled with our finds. This wharehouse is open to the public and had a floor dedicated to sale/clearance items and a bunch of new items too. The prices seemed reasonable on the new items too. Checkout website for items currently on sale. I would like to shout-out Mark (owner) and Junior for having awesome customer service. Junior helped me with approximating how many yards of fabric I would need to reupholster the chair that we got for free. Oh yes, I failed to mentioned they have lots of fabric for sale. At the event the fabric was only $5 a yard. Such a deal. Mad props to this business. *only furnishing for my temporary housing for now but will look to this business for my more permanent home in the near future* Would add photos of finds but waiting delivery. That process seems easy. Hoping I will have our items soon but there was polar vortex.

My wife and I worked with Michelle Polay from the beginning stages of having our house built up…read moreuntil the furnishing and decorating process. She understood our vision and enhanced it with her own great ideas along the way. When we first set out to hire a decorator I was afraid they would try inserting their own taste or push a style we didn't like, but with Michelle that never happened. Of course, there were times where I wanted a particular look, and she gently made it clear that "it doesn't work." Moreover, she gave very thoughtful logical reasoning on why it doesn't work, which I would then understand and agree with her. So thankful that she stopped us in those instances! Overall, our ideas and vision were supported and enhanced. She definitely knows what she is doing. Little tricks here and there that make a world of difference. Although Michelle can get very busy, she would always try and squeeze us in somewhere. Due to building process I was forced to make some quick decisions and I could always count on her to get her opinion in time. She gave us as much autonomy as we wanted and guided us when we were clueless. Not only did she have great ideas, she had contractors that she works with and trusts to do the work. Aside from her design skills, Michelle is super nice, friendly and fun! Best of all we felt that, for her time and expertise, she was quite a bargain!

So naturally when we bought another condo in need of a complete rehab, we went to Mark. We are not doing a super high-end project but nonetheless, Mark is doing the same conscientious job as he would do for someone spending a lot more money than we are. Being in a condo, we are of course more constrained than if in a single family home. But Mark has managed to come up with little details that would not have occurred to me that will make the end result so much better.

I had an inkling it might sell quickly when the contractors came back to finish up after the unit had been staged and they didn't recognize the place they'd been renovating for months. Then I saw the *spectacular* listing photos and I wanted to buy the place all over again! The buyer loved everything so much they asked if they could buy all the furnishings (everything you see in the photos is from PS Lehman). I know the staging played an outsized role in making this too-good-to-be-true deal actually true! I couldn't be more grateful to the team at PS Lehman - from the very first contact and every step along the way until the unit was empty - they took all the stress out of every step and helped me get a result I never imagined. I would like to update my review. I did have the sofa redone at your shop. I had another chair recovered in velvet at Calico Corners in Wilmette and it does not attract dust and lint at all so it is not necessarily a function of all velvets. You were not nearly as helpful as you sound here on yelp when I had these complaints after the sofa was done. You' were completely unresponsive and refused to assist any further. At minimum, the sofa should've been comfortable and you definitely did mislead me on your product.
