    Triple decker with fries

Deli with a speakeasy?!!! Came here for the Reuben, but was caught checking out the happy hour specials. There's a velveteen curtain next to the deli that I otherwise wouldn't have noticed that leads to a large bar/speakeasy area. Food was delivered to us in the back as I enjoyed the ambiance. Service was friendly and welcoming. Oh right -the Reuben, the reason I was here to begin with was quite delicious. The triple decker is made with Cole slaw, ask for kraut if you're looking for tang. Great value and delicious!

A nice find in Manhattan. I got the triple decker sandwich and it was delicious and a great value in a city that can be expensive. The staff was friendly. Not a ton of seating but not a bad experience at all.

This is the blandest, most overcooked food ever. Really disappointing. Also the cleaning mopping is done while you are sitting there. Really unpleasant. No "excuse me". Just a mop on your feet.

Food 4.5/5 - I am judging this Deli based on its genre. For a sit down deli this was an excellent Reuben sandwich, good portions, solid amount of fries, yummy dressing. The bread tasted like rye but wasn't marbled, not sure why. They also had some pre-made paninis and hot bar items I did not try. Ambiance 4/5, classic New York mix between a diner and a deli with seating for about 15 people. I saw some young couples here on dates which was cute. It's definitely a spot for people who live here not tourists trying to have a flashy time. It was reasonably crowded (I grabbed the last seat at 3pm on a weekday) but I could see it being packed during a lunch rush. Service 5/5 - everyone was super friendly. They gave me honey mustard on the side and were prompt with the service. Price 5/5 - in the inflation era of Manhattan being able to sit down and eat a meal in Midtown for under $15 ia increasingly rare.

Lovely place with the friendliest staff, fair prices, great food (served super quickly) and a variety of seating options due to tables in the front and access to the bar in the back as well. Recommended!

This place is amazing! Food was excellent, reasonably priced and portions were great. True taste of New York with a wide range of selections. If you can't find anything to eat, you probably aren't hungry! We ate here 3 times in a 5 day trip to New York

When my son told me he'd found an apartment in New York, I was thrilled for him, then he mentioned it was above an Irish bar that stayed open until 4 a.m. I honestly didn't know what to expect. I made plans to help him move in, and not only was I pleasantly surprised, I quickly realized this was one of the nicest neighborhood spots in the city. Great drinks, good food, and consistently friendly service. It has everything you want in a local bar. Everyone is welcoming, friendly, and the vibe is just right. A quick FYI...don't let those $5 happy-hour espresso martinis fool you. They're delicious, but they definitely pack a punch. There are great drink specials during the week, and of course, perfectly poured, ice-cold Guinness on tap. Whenever I'm in town and waiting for my son, I stop in and they always remember me. You can't ask for better service than that. If you're anywhere near 29th between Park and Madison, this place is an absolute must-stop.
