Where do I even start! I purchased a table at this club for six people for $450. The price included a bottle of Hennessy so it seemed like a great deal. I prepaid the promoter and was told my name would be at the door for immediate entry and to simply let the door person know that I had pre-purchased a table. I was also advised to arrive by 11:30pm which was strange to me with a table that is prepaid but I had my entire party at the club on-time. I arrived and notified the bouncer that I pre paid for a table with VIP entry to which he replied "everyone in line did so pick a line". I was a bit taken back but got in line as asked. I text the promoter who was also a DJ at the club that I paid and he replied "be patient they will let you in". After waiting 45 mins a woman comes out and yells at the crowd "who is waiting on a table". My group raised our hands only to be told we were in the wrong line and needed to get behind yet another group of people. 1hr later at now 12:30am we were still in line. An employee finally came out and took us in the club through an exit. At this time he asked for my name only to advise me it wasn't ever added to the Table/VIP list. He tried to fix it and asked for my bottle selection after I provided receipts. He led me to a section and immediately we were asked to move as it belonged to someone else. At that point he led me and my group to the bar and asked me to wait there. We waited for 20 mins and finally the owner came over and in the middle of me expressing my frustration with the process blamed the promoter and told me to basically either shut up and let him fix or leave and figure out my money with the promoter. As I had all these invited guests I obliged and stayed quiet while he "fixed"it. Things only got worse. Mixers weren't ready, when they came they were flat twice, we ordered three more bottles immediately when we got there knowing that we wouldn't have time if the waitress left, and we didn't even get one of the bottles. The credit card machine broke so the owners had me to cashapp him only to not tell the waitress that the additional orders were paid for and needed to be filled. While the music was good and there was a nice crowd the service left a lot to be desired. It was horrible and after spending over $1200 I expected a lot more. I go out in major cities and always purchase tables and this by far the worst experience. If you are looking for a VIP experience in Seattle don't go to this club. It's not worth your money even if it is only $1200. read more

This was by far the most ratchet place I've been to in Seattle. The one positive thing I can say is that the security lady up front was very nice and we had a laugh with her. Here's a list: 1. Filthy. Probably wouldn't notice once you're trashed but this place is grimy. All the white trim has black on it and the surfaces all seem to have crud on them before the club is even busy. 2. Insanely expensive. 4 Jameson shots, 4 coors - $75. Even if the Jameson was $10/shot, that's $8.75 per beer. For coors light. So either the Jameson was much more expensive or the beer was. Either way this place needs to check themselves because they don't have the ambiance to pull off those prices. 3. Dance floor is tiny and has "VIP" surrounding it in a half circle. Why? I guess it is easier to make it look packed in pictures but I'd guess at least once a month someone falls into VIP tripping on these ankle height ropes while they dance on the micro dance floor. Soooo classy. I know that's what I look for when I get bottle service, people falling into my table. 4. The DJ on Saturday July 8 was wack. "Let me show you how good my taste in music is by playing some obscure stuff you've probably never heard of" Thanks buddy, but no thanks. Maybe nobody had told him that there was a 90s themed bar crawl that their club was a part of, but people had just come from a much nicer club playing lil john & such to here where the most danceable song in 15 mins was lauryn hill. I come here for bass therapy. The artists are AMAZING. Such good music, pretty great production too. The vibes are mostly good as well. The reason for two stars? The dancers. You will get dirty looks all night. Like you're beneath them. You can't dance sexy with your friends while one walks by without them rolling their eyes in a very obvious manner. They also like making a nasty face of disgust and literally saying "ew" as they walk closely passed you to make sure you hear it. That alone made for a night that could have been better. Instead of making the crowd excited, they brought the crowd down with some severe negativity. To top it off, their dancing wasn't impressive, so that didn't even make up for it. I understand when people get kind of rowdy and it can be hard to keep your composure, but that is no excuse to act that way to other people that had nothing to do with it and are just trying to have fun. Also, there is a large black box on the floor on the L side of the stage.. my friend tripped over it and cut her elbow, and I watched a drunk guy fall on it and split his head open and bled everywhere! 13 of us were here for my bachelorette party and we were thoroughly impressed with what we got from Tyrone for the night. When we first got there we asked for Tyrone and were greeted with a rude security guard. We were concerned about that but found Tyrone and Jessica who immediately made us feel better about the situation. Tyrone asked me about the experience that I wanted and he did not disappoint in delivery. We were walked to a private room and got bottle service and access to the private bar. I was brought 3 drinks personally and shots were poured for the party. The entire experience was awesome. Tyrone and Jessica went above and beyond for us. He took great care of our large group. Jessica, at the security line was funny and sweet. Tyrone made sure to make our bride feel extra special!!! Very much appreciated. We had Emelia as our bottle service girl and she was super sweet, always checked in and even came back in just to dance with our bride. All the girls were all smiles and really nice. I chose this establishment to celebrate my birthday and I regret it. My party traveled from both Los Angeles and Portland and were treated far from VIP. I paid over $700 for VIP and the service was horrible! We had complications getting in because ONE person In my party did not meet the dress code. I was told that the VIP host I had been conversing with sent me an email disclosing all the details of my table including the dress code, however I did NOT receive any of that information. My friend paid extra money once they got a hold of the vip host just to get my ONE guest in after I had already sent the vip host $100 for a deposit. The bouncers were completely rude and very unprofessional. My experience was horrible and i will never return! read more

I honestly wasn't too excited when I heard this place opening because the first thing that came to my mind was the ungodly crowd at Volume, the previous name of this place with children grinding on each other and violating my personal bubble. It was a relief knowing this would be a 21+ only establishment vs the 18+ it used to be (with a 21+ lounge but that doesn't change anything), so I decided to give this place a try and I'll just say it's a bit better than what Volume used to be. Unfortunately with it being in Pioneer Square, a lot of sketchy things can happen around the area which would drive some people away. I've been here twice for AB the Thief and ATLiens on Saturdays, and I'll admit I had a pretty good time both nights, mainly because I was with a big group of friends. The DJs usually play a mix of hip hop and EDM. The two dance floors with booths surrounding them still remained the same, so it's pretty nice to choose what kind of music you're in the mood for. I do like the lights, visuals, and sound system (though the bass can be a bit too loud). I think the night really depends on the crowd; It can be packed (not a full house or super crowded though) or really empty but I feel like I always have space to dance. I was part of a table both nights I've been also, not the biggest booth but at least I got to sit down when I needed to and there was bottle service with a bottle of champagne inside a bucket of ice. The staff was really quick about picking up empty cups so that was nice! Oh, the photobooth right when you walk in can be pretty fun to use also, though the scaling of the ruler is way off... Something I noticed: They've announced guests like Lil Dicky, SoMo, DJ Mustard and Mike Jones but then later mentions they actually weren't able to book some of the ones I listed and has to change who's playing that night, so they need to work on organizing that and marketing better. Also, I'm assuming rent is really expensive which is why the drinks and $15 cover charge are expensive also. I really don't think it's worth $8 for a wells drink or $12 for a vodka Red Bull at a not so crowded club... This isn't Vegas. Overall I would probably only come here if an occasion calls for it. Not my first go to nightclub but at least it's something different from your typical Cap Hill or Belltown night. I would rate this 3.5 stars if I could but I'll stick to 3 for Yelp. read more

I have been here twice now since it has been Stage and am not ever going to go back. I was double charged one of the nights for $77. I messaged their Facebook site about the incident and after 17 days someone FINALLY got back to me, letting me know to contact my bank and that they can't do anything about it. Well, I contacted my bank right after this happened and they told me to contact the business first, as it would be much faster to just have them refund me my money. Last Monday, after not having heard anything from Stage, I finally decided to file a claim with my bank which is going to take another couple of weeks. HORRIBLE "customer service" and unfortunately will not be going back to this place. And if I do go, I will definitely not be spending any money! I usually only use Yelp for positive reviews, so this is really quite a shame. read more

We went to Stage last night for the Bollywood DJ. Either they did not have AC, or did not turn it on for that dance room, and it had been 95 that day. It was pretty much a crowd of people who were exhausting the napkin supply in order to mop up sweat, dancing to pretty poor Bollywood music. Why a club that should be packed full of people does not have AC is beyond me. It was so hot that the entire room eventually cleared to the main dance floor, however that DJ was pretty awful as well. Last, we did show up early, at 10, to get in for free. However there was only perhaps a dozen of us there, so we left and came back at 11. There were more people, but not as many as you'd expect at a good club, at that time, on a Friday night. We called it a bust after dancing for 45 minutes, and left. read more

We got a table for my birthday on a Sat night and I was honestly impressed by the overall experience. My only complaint was the music; it could've been a perfect night if the dj's weren't doing trap versions of everything to the extreme and cutting off every decent song and killin' people's vibes. The hostess we had was super sweet and attentive. We had a few spills, but there was a really great guy who was on top of cleaning up the floor for us. The cupcakes and candles were a nice touch and I appreciate the service we had from the moment we arrived to when we left. This is probably the nicest, most professional venue to have your bday at if you have a group and want to go out. I hope they can improve their music because the system itself is good! read more

Do NOT come here. Our experience was absolutely horrible. I was charged for drinks that we didn't receive. I was harassed by a bouncer for dancing with my same sex partner, because they "don't allow that here". I spoke with the manager, she apologized, and said we would be taken care of. I finally received one of the drinks I paid for, and the same bouncer snatched it and threw it in the garbage. I spoke with the manager again and asked for a refund, but apparently they "don't do that here" either. She apologized again, and promised to take care of us the next time we come back. Yeah right. On the way out, the bouncer got in my face, and screamed about how he'd beat the shit out of me if I wasn't a female. Then told my girlfriend to fall on a dick and die. I've been in the club scene a long time and I never ever delt with a more unprofessional owner who disrespected me and belittled me over a contest they posted, and never follow through or paid me. I won the contest and waited over a whole month for a response back and never did. After asking multiple people about it and still couldn't get a response I went to FB and asked if anyone else did the contest, seeing that your flier of the contest and me on their page doing the contest with few other girls, not to mention there were my friends who I was there with as witness, and I know several people who work there who can vouch for me, the owner called me a liar, and derogatory names and threatened me with a lawyer!!!!!!! Over maybe a couple hundred bucks!!!! Of course bluffing cause I waited a whole week without a peep from him or his lawyer!!! Over a contest cause they didn't want to pay me!!! Then give me the run around!!! Then get mad when you get put on blast!!!! It was defiantly entertaining that I had to be the bigger person and accept that they would never pay me my prize money$ hope it was worth your reputation being tainted over maybe a couple hundred bucks! I was coming from the Bay Area and my best friend had a wedding near Seattle so I wanted to show him a good time without getting in too much trouble. I came to Seattle not expecting too much, I looked around for a club that played Hip Hop and Stage looked good. LET ME TELL YOU, from the second I emailed James Santos I knew we were in great hands. I added people like there was no tomorrow and on top of that it was all guys...like who accommodates 16 guys lets just be real. JAMES did more then enough. He hooked us up with the nicest server ever I think her name was Rachael but she was so helpful funny and everything you can ask for in a server. ANY chance they got they came to see if I was ok! The music was consistently fire all night even took request for MAC DRE! I would go back every time I'm in town. If you haven't been you are missing out. Tables prices were great they seriously went the whole nine for me. I'm from SF and stage is up there fersure. James and Rachael and the DJ made me look good in throwing my first bachelor party!
