With that said, it was very challenging to find modern songs as there were numerous songs that were not in English and some of the English songs were actually in a totally different style than what we are used to hearing here in the US. So if you are expecting karaoke like you would have in the local bar this is not the place. The karaoke rooms are large with plenty of couches and seating, there's a big screen that displays videos and the words, you're given two microphones and there's some fun lighting that happens. During our time there the air conditioner was not working in our room so it became really hot, but they moved us to another room which was really nice. We were there during karaoke happy hour which was $15 per person per hour so it does add up pretty quickly. Also, we were there on a Friday evening and we were the only ones there, when I asked the attendant at the front desk if this is normal, she said they're not very busy on the weekends but during the week they're very busy with the Asian population. They do sell alcohol, but it's a very limited menu, they did offer a magnum of Cook's champagne at $38 a bottle, which was steep, but what made it not worth it was the fact that it was room temperature. I don't think this is an establishment I will visit again, but I do wish them well as they put a lot of thought and money into their karaoke establishment.

Very fun time singing with friend also yummy drinks and good environemnt with fun songs.read more

Ordered the Ikura onigiri and the Japanese Sweet Potato and the Agadashi Tofu. (I asked for miso butter on the side for me because I have found it overwhelms the potato which is seasoned really wonderfully). The Ikura Onirigi was simple and excellent. My favorite wishes that they would create an regular Onirigi Happy Hour where they are on discount so that those of us who just want to have half a dozen of those and a few drinks can come in and experience our heart's delight. My drink of choice here is the Painkiller -- which is really well balanced and so delicious it's hard not to have a second. Wednesdays are when they have two dollars off the ginger-based drinks and I didn't try it this time but I am keen to the next time because they appear to crush the ginger in house and make their own ginger concoction magic. The bar was thankfully not crowded. As an introvert it was nice to be finishing up and heading out just as more people were coming in.

The place was packed, but thankfully we were seated quite quickly with a 5-10 minute wait. The interior is cozy and welcoming. It's dimly lit with mood lighting on the tables. It felt lively since the tables were packed. We started by ordering the sake and shoyu flights and some fries with wasabi mayo while we explored the rest of their menu. We received the flights quickly. Both flights had 3 flavors and were tasty and fun to try. Each flight comes with a menu describing the flavor profile and how the drinks were made. The flavors of each flight were distinct and matched their descriptions. The fries with wasabi mayo were pretty basic fries. They were well seasoned, had a nice crunch, and the mayo had a subtle wasabi flavor without it being spicy. For our next round we ordered the salmon misoyaki, butternut squash, tofu kushiyaki, and steak kushiyaki. Unfortunately, our server forgot to bring our butternut squash, but we ended up being full with the rest of the food we ordered and just took it off our order. The salmon misoyaki was delicious - perfectly cooked, tender, and well seasoned. The mustard greens on the side added a nice sourness. The tofu kushiyaki was tender and flavorful. The steak kushiyaki was well-seasoned, but more well done than I preferred and a little tough. Next, we ordered the spinach goma ae and umeboshi unigiri. The spinach goma ae was such a pleasant surprise! It's a chilled spinach dish with a tamari/black sesame sauce that was refreshing mid-meal. Really good umami flavor! The umeboshi onigiri had the expected sharp salty/sour flavor that balanced well with the ratio of rice. Ended up dipping the umeboshi onigiri in the goma ae sauce to get every last drop. For dessert we ordered the basque cheesecake and créme brûlée. The cheesecake was just okay. The menu said there was sake and black sesame flavors, but apart from some black sesame dust on the plate we couldn't taste the sake/sesame. The texture was thick and not super smooth. It was a pretty heavy dessert and not very sweet. The créme brûlée was yummy. The custard was smooth and the crunchy caramelized sugar on top was a nice contrast in texture and flavor. The service itself was slow. We were waiting around 15 minutes between orders. Given, it was a busy night. However, we felt a bit forgotten as our server did forget to bring one of our dishes, we had to ask for our dessert menus twice, and we were accidentally served two basque cheesecakes instead of our order of cheesecake and créme brûlée. The staff were friendly, and quickly brought out the correct desserts at the end. I'd recommend ordering more dishes at once so you can enjoy more food in between orders. Would definitely come back again to try the rest of their menu. We wanted to try the Japanese sweet potato but they had sold out that night. The oysters, sashimi, and udon also looked quite good!

Firstly, I specifically asked the Sales Team if IDX Broker worked with WIX website hosting to which they responded in the affirmative. This is not the case as the Wrappers that IDX is so proud of do not work with WIX and their "step-by-step" instructions were clearly written by someone who has no idea how WIX actually works. The only way I have been able to get IDX Broker to work on the website is to install it in an I-Frame, which only works with Desktop by the way, I had to get creative in order to make it work with Mobile devices. Add to this that it took IDX Broker a month and a half to actually activate my client's account, and their Tech Support doesn't actually respond to e-mail requests for help through their help@idxbroker.com e-mail. I submitted over a half dozen different e-mail requests for help for everything from the delayed activation of the site, their search engines not using the indicated template, and trouble with mobile devices accessing their engines. I have, to date, only received one response...asking if I would like help setting up my password. I will give them credit for having polite tech support people, and in on instance the rep helping me was able to do so in less than 10 minutes...after two attempts to contact them through e-mail that went unanswered. However, this one instance of customer service was not enough to offset the massive headache that IDX Broker has been. Had I been informed from the beginning that their services did not integrate with WIX, I would have advised my client to switch to a compatible hosting service, which would have saved us both a lot of time and headache. In this regard, IDX Broker has been no help whatsoever. Bottom line, if you can figure out which hosting services IDX Broker actually works with, you will probably have an adequate product, albeit with sketchy customer service at best. Just don't trust their Sale's Team, talk with a Tech Support person before hand, and hope you get one that knows what they are talking about and has a sense of integrity.
