Our company was very disappointed with our experience with Staffmark. We were approached by them while we were working with another agency and decided to give them a try. During our busiest times, we reached out to them for our warehouse labor. They sent us several placements, some did not show up and some were not qualified. Out of the 6 or 7 they sent us, we were able to use one. He has been great but when it came time to convert him to permanent, they really showed they do not care about finding permanent jobs for their staff nor do they care about their customers. We tried to have the employee converted to permanent with just a few more hours left but they would not waive their conversion fee even when we told them we would not use them moving forward if they would not convert. Brittany Calderon was our rep and she was a bit stand offish and not friendly at all in the midst of these discussions, while our main rep never Trish Cereda never got back to us, a couple of weeks later they told us she was no longer with the company. Brittany copied her VP Teresa Cardenas in the email and she also did not step in to try to make our experience a little better or try and retain our business. There are so many staffing agencies out there to use and we chose to give Staffmark a try and unfortunately because of this poor experience, we will not be using them in the future. Thinking of the business relationship and bigger picture would have been ideal here but to make a $700 conversion fee seems what was most important to Staffmark.
