GP My father works seasonally for wine baskets has for a couple years this year the company switched to this agency. With the other agency he never had a problem being called into work when they requested him. He keeps in contact with a lot of the people who work there they even called and asked why he was not working yet he normally starts in late July or August He said agency never called him , they have called on his behalf to have him be put on the payroll and even call him to see if he is coming in still nothing from the agency he calls and they tell him not yet they will call him and never do. They even told him to apply to the company on his own as he is a well loved worker there. He thinks the reason they haven't called him is cause he is 70 which would be age discrimination on the agency part if that the case, he is a hard worker . I see the job he does advertised and he says they hired younger workers for the agency who quit in less than a week this told by current employees .Maybe like someone said they might be doing money laundering as they are refusing to send someone like my father a long term employee to work. read more

Because when you call to see if that have any jobs available they lie and make it seem like they do and they tell you to come into the office but when you arrive they have no jobs available and they say they'll call you back but they never do. Straight Joke. Went to an assignment for these joker's. A recruiter was there and I asked her how do I get paid. She drives away from the location and I get a call later in 4 minutes and they say the company called and told me to clock in but I actually start at 8. Go in the building and they say we never said that. Go back outside or to the lunch room in a condescending tonality. At that point $13 isn't worth the unprofessionalism and borderline discrimination. Did the recruiter think by me being black and in the front makes the building look bad? When I called and asked they couldn't give me a reason for this so called miscommunication. I call b/s and I'd rather not make them money even if it is for me. I have sales experience and rather deal with "miscommunication" for upwards of $20. It's principalities in life. Don't play kid games in business. I am not desperate. I wish I could give this agency 0 stars, zero efficiency, they treat you like whatever like if they are superior. The girls working here are so rude except for one but I can't remember her name, they don't pay you the correct hours and you have to call them and call them so you can get your check. Today went to apply to newly open office in Anaheim on Lincoln ave. Yesterday called and I was told : "yes,we do have openings still for that position ".well,today they have no jobs available. Internet post still up today for la mirada warehouse. False advertising. The woman who gave the safety counsel was rude in the sense that she didn't say nothing about the position they are advertising. What I have learned today is this : don't give your ID'S PRIOR TO START FILLING OUT THE JOB APLICATION. it's just another way to hold you, and continue the process with them. After all that I was told that I have to keep calling monday and Friday to see IF...they have jobs available (I won't call for sure).I think I have wasted my time today going to this place. The workers here are very nice and considerate about you. Will do everything they can to find jobs that fits you and even offered my kids candy when other offices don't allow me to go in with my kid since I am a single mother it really means a lot to not be getting kicked out just for trying to look for a job.
