    i am so amazed with the cookies i ordered for my grandsons baby shower. His Mama wanted a halloween mickey baby theme , and Stacy did not disappoint i also ordered a large quantity and in so little time, i am grateful that i found her !

    Stacy's Sugar Shop is absolutely fabulous! Her cookies are the best I've found in all of San Diego County. Not only do they taste amazing, but they are true works of art. I first ordered from her last Christmas for a large party at my home, and this year I ordered three dozen for a ladies' event at my church. Both times, everything was perfect. Stacy is incredibly easy to work with--she communicates clearly through text and email, and my orders were ready exactly when promised. I paid via Venmo when the order was accepted, and the whole process was smooth and simple. I will absolutely continue using Stacy in the future, and I truly can't recommend her highly enough!

    Beautiful! I ordered these for my daughter's show, Hadestown. Stacy assured me these were tree-nut and peanut-free as we have kiddos with food allergies.     I never ever seen and tasted such perfect sugar cookies. They were so beautiful that every guest, even adults, wanted to have one.     Happy bday to Mini-me 1.0! Cake, ice cream, and COOKIES! Wifey ordered a set of iced unicorn shaped cookies for the kiddie party. These hand decorated, tasty treats were a hit. Everyone enjoyed biting off unicorn head cookies. Price as of 2Q2018 was $30.00/dz. That's like $2.50 a unicorn cookie for the mathletes. Neat special occasion snacks for your next event.

    I called Stacy just 5 days before a baby shower asking for a custom cookie order and not only did she come to the rescue, she did an amazing job! We had a nautical (and baby boy) theme so I sent her a bunch of inspo pics and what she made could not have been more perfect! In addition to looking incredible, the cookies were also soft and delicious! Stacy absolutely went above and beyond - She even gave us a few extra cookies, which was a sweet surprise. Would highly recommend her!

I was also surprised to see that they expanded their space that offers seating and a coffee shop! They use beans sourced from Philippines for their coffee. Good move on their end if you want to enjoy your filipino pastry with coffee or tea! My go to items rotate between the Spanish bread, pizza pandesal, and regular pandesal fresh from the oven. For my most recent visit, I was surprised to see they had the ilocos empanada available. Like i mentioned, its been a minute since coming here so not sure how long they've been making them. The last time i had an ilocos empanada was when visited Vigan Philippines in 2017! I ordered on in addition to a chicken empanada and pizza pandesal. I decided to check out the coffee shop and what made me backtrack was that they make calamansi tea (with either black or jasmine tea). Decided to order that and eat the ilocos empanada at the cafe while it was still warm. The ilocos empanada: big portion ($6). You can order with or without cheese ($7 with cheese). I opted without cheese because this is how i remember eating it. It also comes with a vinegar sauce. It was delicious. Perfect crunch. Perfect ratios of papaya, mung beans, meat and egg. Calamansi black tea - yummy as well. Not too sweet. Tasted good with the empanada. I will definitely be coming back for the ilocos empanada. They make them daily and often replenished throughout the day (according to the employee). Parking here may be tight if coming durinf busy hours since it shares the spaces with titas kitchenette (also delicious) and island pacific market as well as other small businesses in the strip mall.

We ordered a classic croissant, a chocolate croissant, bibimbap croissant, coconut latte and mocha. All the croissants were light and airy. The flavors were all there and not at all heavy. The chocolate in the chocolate croissany provided a nice spot of flavor in the middle and didn't take away from the other elements/textures. The bibimbap flavors were spot in without being too heavy like the actual bibimbap rice dish usually is. The orange dollops of sauce was quite garlicky, if you're into that. The coconut iced latte was creamy and had a nice hit of saltiness. The mocha was smooth and warm, and does not appear to be sweetened. Overall, a bit on the expensive side, but worth it if you're into croissants. We came for a special occasion treat and am looking forward to their new location in Mira Mesa.
