March 2024 Update: This was the place my husband always went with his racing buddies every single Sunday morning when he was in the Army stationed at Ft. Riley. This was 25-30 years ago. That tells you how long Stacy's has been around and what a staple it is in this community. It's a small-town, down-home feeling as soon as you walk in. It's not fancy, it's very basic with a focus on good customer service and yummy comfort food. And it delivers! I have a lot of allergies and the waitress took a lot of care to make sure the cooks knew how to prepare my eggs in order to avoid cross-contamination. My husband always gets his biscuits and gravy when he comes here and also corned beef hash. We came with friends (whom we call our family) and it was just another amazing experience at this place! A must visit whenever we are in JC!

This place was packed on a Sunday morning so I was excited to try it. It is seat yourself and we were lucky to get a booth near the front and a window-which was great as we were meeting my son and daughter-in-law. I ordered the quiche (fantastic!). My son got the chicken fried steak and my daughter-in-law got a pancake. The food and coffee were really great. It's nothing fancy but the food is well worth the visit. The service is exceptional as well.

There is much near Junction City, a small town near the geographical center of the Unites States, with a rich military past and right in between the Santa Fe and the Oregon Trail. Living in JC seems ok but without the entertainments of a medium city, there is not a magnificent children's museum or an aquarium, nothing significant to really visit, a downtown with closed shops like many kansas small towns, reminding us of better times. However, no far from JC few miles from Grand View Plaza, this is a place to visit. A truly modern American experience. Stacey's Restaurant offers a simple good breakfast menu, and lunch. You will not be disappointed by ordering the Hungry Man's Breakfast. The service is great and very polite, you will feel welcome among cowboy, trucker hats, old military pictures from Fort Riley, and John Deer paraphernalia. The place is quite big, it may hold about 100 people. It is visited mostly by local and soldier stationed in Fort Riley.

Roaches on the wall behind my seat

So disgusted with Stacy's. We went to grab a nice home-cooked breakfast and when our food came we were greeted by roaches. Crawling up and down the wall behind me, running across our table and on the floor. I had 2 bites of my breakfast before we realized they were infested. I brought it to the waitress' attention and she squished the one running on the table and asked if we would like a different seat. No, I don't want another table, I want to eat my meal without roaches running all over.

In town for work. Love finding good mom and pops. This is one. Recommended by coworkers. Fast friendly service. Ate there 2 days in a row. Ordered the special. One day it was fried chicken. It was really good. Includes drink, $9.11. Great deal. Next was the Swiss steak. It was good. Still $9.11 with drink. Lots of locals and our finest military soldiers enjoying meals.

All in all it meant my expectations, when we walked in there was the cutest server very short dark hair who smiled a very welcoming smile and unfortunately we ended up with a server ( a lot of piercings in her ears) who was not very friendly and welcoming and never told us her name. My breakfast was wonderful and met expectations and the pancakes are just so very good. Wife said her scrambled eggs were very oily but the rest of the breakfast was very good. The parking lot is in bad shape and needs to be redone if for no other reason it appears a lot of the clientele is older so a huge liability. If yo you want to experience the real America this is the place to do it, American Flag in the dining area, tribute to the troops, farmers and those who love this country. I recommend it this place.

Big portions, affordable prices and most importantly - tasty homemade breakfast - a must if you are in the area. SOOOOOOOO worth it!

Food was amazing but service was poor. Waitress never came to check on us or gave us a re-fill.

Really enjoyed this small business. I loved the homemade pancakes. Way better than ihop or some big chain restaurant.

Really really good. Small town diner with small town flair. You walk in and are greeted, seated, and fed. Loved it. Can't wait to go back.

Good food. Just a down home local diner type place. Seat yourself and receive good service. It is now all non-smoking.

They even let us sample the icing from their homemade cinnamon rolls so we could decide if it was cream cheese or not.

Very cute place. I was in town for my mom's Birthday and looked up bakeries. For a town like…read moreManhattan you'd expect more choices but this was it. I looked it up online. Online it said they offer grab and go cakes but no guarantees so I tried to call the number listed to ask ahead of time. No answer. I was calling within business hours. I decided to just drop in. The place is adorable with an amazing outdoor seating area and great seating inside. They had a good sized lunch crowd. I went straight to the bakery counter. No full cakes. They had like 3/4 of a Halloween cake being sold piece by piece. The date was 11/2. I asked someone about cakes and all she said was "not today". They had adorable little personal cheesecakes but at $7 a pop- not something I could get for my mom's Birthday. She didn't try to offer me a solid price for the 3/4 cake that was clearly a few days old. You'd think they would want it out the door. I ended up leaving with nothing and settling for the Hyvee bakery. Leaving was a bit of a mess. The parking lot is crazy confusing and I was forced to exit out of an area that said entrance only. The only other way out of the lot was between buildings and it was blocked. I'm guessing this is a great place. Just not for me on this day.
