Best breakfast place, this was our first visit. The food were delightful and the service was super, we felt the love and that is rare. The lady who was in the cash register was patiently help these 2 'ask too much' customer lol (i meant my sister and I). As 1st timer, PLEASE try their french toast (^_^) yummy. I upgraded it with chocolate chips and banana (upgraded yummy). We ordered hash brown corn beef and Breakfast G wrap . NEVER forget to order sweet Ice tea (^*^) it was so good. Cafeteria style ordering so for your first time it's a little over whelming but stick it out it's worth it. Try looking at the menu on line before you go as that helps too! Then you get your table number and you find a table and they bring it out. So delicious! Biscuits and sausage gravy were amazing. I'm pretty picky about my sausage gravy and it did not disappoint at all. The fried potatoes and biscuit sandwiches were huge and also amazing. We had left overs for breakfast the next day! The employees there were very nice and welcoming also. I told friends about it and they went a few days later and could not get over how good it was. Yelp helped me pick this place for breakfast. I had to go taste for myself. We pulled up and the line was wrapped around the building but it moved fairly quick. You stand in a cafeteria line and pick your drink. Once at the register you order your food, pay and sit. They bring the food to your table for you. The place was really inviting and friendly. There are small table and larger long tables with cool little dips for high chairs. All over the walls are cute sayings. The food was so good. I had pancakes with coconut and chocolate. It was like a Breakfast mounds bar,I almost ate everything. My husband ordered smothered hash browns.... um yum. This place is no upscale eatery but it's the perfect place for breakfast on your beach vacation. We will come here every visit hands down. read more

Pretty good food. I find the set up confusing if you are a first timer. Half cafeteria half sit down. Enter and grab a tray for drinks and snacks or fruit. Order and pay at the end and they will bring your food to you. They also do refills and clean your plates. Loaded hash browns are nice. It's breakfast and pretty good. They have all the typical food and I will say that they cook the eggs very nicely. Too many other places under cook the eggs. Not here. read more

A solid breakfast joint, efficient and well run. They are clearly popular with the touristos, serving hearty breakfast fare with a slight Greek influences if you squint hard enough. I have a feeling this place can get slammed during high season, so be prepared. I will say that the food was decent, but not worth noting. I thought the sausage biscuits were actually the best thing I ate and the pancakes were surprisingly middle-of-the-road. It's hard to get great food out here in OBX, so if you want a hearty American breakfast, you could certainly do worse. read more

Two stars because whomever was working the register on 8/21/22 was extremely rude. We were a group of 11 on vacation, had no idea how their system worked. We were tired and hungry from driving 6-7 hours. We didn't realize you grab a tray, order for your group, prepay, etc. When I said we were from out of town and weren't sure how their process went, she rolled her eyes and was flat out rude. Terrible customer service. The food was good, as was the waiter that brought it to our table, only reason I gave any stars at all. Came here on a Monday morning, place opens up at 7am showed up at 6:45 and there was a line of folks already standing outside. It's a cafeteria line set-up to order your food. The guy at the registered was friendly took our orders and even though there was a line behind us never made us feel rushed to put our food order in. I went with the French toast side of bacon with strawberries and blueberries, boyfriend went with the eggs corn beef hash w/ grits and we also tried the smothered hash-brown w/ cheese and bacon. Corn beef hash was good, bacon was average tasting. The syrup for the French toast was not sweet at all, asked the server if it was the sugar free syrup. Come to find out they recently changed the syrup and I wasn't the only customer that wonder if it was sugar free syrup. You definitely get a lot of food on your plate, which isn't something I typically care for I prefer quality over quantity. Waitress came around and made sure we had everything and were good on drinks. Pleasant atmosphere, decor was nice. The line never died down, if you come here after 8a expect to wait in line to place your order. If you need to go to the restroom that's an ordeal... you have to go outside the restaurant walk around to the front entrance to get to the bathrooms which means walking through the line of folks standing outside waiting to get in to eat, than you have to come back through that same line walking through the crowd in line to get back into the place. Definitely not very accommodating, I would hate to have small kids or handicapped disability and in need to get to the restroom quickly because it's not going to happen! Would I come here again; hmm I'd probably check out other local spots if I had to choose. read more

My first thought when I walked in was "oh Lord, it's one of those cafeteria style restaurant." It is but the food is good. You get your drinks and order your food in line. Then sit down with your number. I got the kid/senior with 2 pancakes, combo topper with blueberries and strawberries. It comes with an egg and bacon it was delicious. My husband got the belgium waffle with strawberry and pecan topping. It comes with 1 egg and bacon. He got whipped cream for $0.50. My family and I found this place after researching a couple of restaurants. This one seemed like the best option given how many ratings there were. Stack'em is a cute family owned restaurant with a massive breakfast menu. Your traditional pancakes, waffles, French toast and omelettes. Everyone who worked there was super friendly and would always check up on us to see if everything was okay. The concept of this place is different from most places. You wait in line and once you get inside, you pick up a tray and choose your juices, any fruit, muffins, and coffee. When you get towards the end of the line, that's when you order your food. After you're done ordering, you're given a number and directed to a specific table to sit in. The food was really good and extremely hearty. You could tell that it's a popular spot given the long line wrapped outside at 7:30AM. read more

Arrived at the door and stood in line outside. The moved quickly which was nice because it was pretty humid outside. The food was good, pretty normal breakfast items but they had some cool toppings. I had pancakes with chocolate chips and bananas. It was pretty good and very filling. It's basically cafeteria style which you can probably see in other reviews. Atmosphere was okay, loud room with lots of people talking. Service was great. It's a family run place and they treated me pretty well. Not bad, would eat here again, the prices were also pretty good. The seating here works out well for large groups as the servers check for space as you get close to the register. This was a finely greased machine. It wasn't hard to tell that they have done this a while. We arrived slightly before a rush (only a few people out the door) and the line progressed nicely. It was easy to read the large overhead menu and know exactly what one wants even for someone a bit indecisive (looking at myself). I had pancakes, bacon, grits and some juice. I also had a water which the staff was quick to refill the second I got low. Very solid breakfast. I left full, but not too full. It was a quick trip for peak times, and all employees were very nice, friendly, happy, almost bubbly in the good and not overbearing way. The employees are so kind! They brought my daughter her very own pancake and chatted with us while we waited in line (it's hard for toddlers to look at food and have to wait!)
