Build your own burger - chicken, caramelized onion, pickle, lettuce, bacon, pepper jack cheese, spicy ranch, Sweet Potato Fries

Hands down my favorite burger place in Milwaukee. I do the build your own and get something new every time. I did a chicken breast with caramelized onion, pickle, bacon, lettuce, pepper jack cheese, spicy ranch and a side of sweet potato fries. We're always able to get a table at lunch and enjoy some burgers and drinks. Great selection of beer and cocktails. Great Bloody Mary options. Service is great and food / drinks always come quickly. Easy walk from the third ward to stack'd.

Good burger! We also got wings as an appetizer so a double burger was not necessary! The patties were medium rare and a little extra juicy, so they made the bottom bun a little soggy, but our other burger was perfectly medium and pink on the inside so I think I'd trust them to not overcook them in the future (I usually ask for medium rare to avoid overcooking). Tertris tots were pretty salty, but still delicious. They also don't have a diaper changing station in the bathroom so I had to use the counter :-/ service was solid!

Stacked in the Third Ward is the PERFECT PLACE to get a well-made burger and watch your favorite game on the big screen. We got burgers and fries with a bunch of local draft beers. The meat was very well seasoned, and the servers were courteous and helped us navigate the menu, which had so many options to choose from. Very lively ambiance and definitely lifted our spirits when watching our favorite college football game.

Vegan bean burger on "bed of greens" and side of sweet potato fries

Last night in Milwaukee on this trip and needed a solid gluten-free, vegan meal within walking distance of my hotel. I was intrigued by Stack'd Burger and impressed by their GF and vegan offerings. Much better options than Shake Shack, which was closer but a no go. I got the bean burger with a bed of greens, tomatoes, onions and pickles with a side of sweet potato fries. The food was ready quickly and I didn't have to wait at all (though it was before the dinner rush). The food was tasty and the side of fries that came with the entree was humongous. My only issue was the bed of greens was more like a pillow of greens. Overall, really good!

An Umami Burger-ish place (reclaimed industrial-style interior included) in a large city without one, Stack'd is a trendy burger joint tucked away in Milwaukee's Third Ward, just off the river. Unlike Umami Burger, though, there isn't a menu full of original creations with funky names; instead, you're invited to build your own burger, with a la carte pricing for different kinds of proteins, buns (including gluten-free!), cheeses, and toppings. Sides are eclectic and playful - I enjoyed the Tetris Tots that are cut like Tetris pieces and really do fit together if you feel inclined to play with your food (not that I would *ever* do such a thing, ever! ;) ). The pricing is about what you'd expect for a place like this. Expect to pay $30-35 for two burgers, sides, and sodas; there's a decently-sized cocktail and beer list with prices ranging from $7-12 each. I'd go again if I was in the Third Ward and not on a tight budget.

We went to Stack'd for a work lunch and I had been waiting awhile to give it a try. I will definitely be back! All of the food was extremely good and there were multiple options I wanted to try. The finishing touch of the fried pickle on the top of the sandwiches was the best part and I could definitely go for a whole basket of them. We were able to sit right away with 5 people and had good service! My only complaint would be that they were playing pretty loud screamo music, which was slightly distracting. I would still 100% recommend stack'd, especially if you're a burger person since there are so many options to build your own!

Food was good, great price but the service was amazing! The bartender/waiter dude was super friendly. It wasn't very busy, but busy enough for one person

    Bloody Mary sounds good!

Great burger options in the historic 3rd Ward! Bison to grass-fed beef, on your choice of multiple buns or bunless on greens, plus options on bacon - cheese and/or fried egg toppings! Soft drinks or basic beer & bar choices. Bloody Mary looked good, although I stuck to soft-drinks this time. Even better; the building is an old converted warehouse - complete w overhead track-crane, etc.. Good stuff!

Great burgers and delicious onion rings! Stopped here randomly and didn't regret it at all. Get the onion rings as well so delicious. Follow me on IG at TalkShebusiness for more places to explore!

My best friend raves about this place and I finally was able to stop in and enjoy their burgers! I liked their drink options. They have a lot of options for beer and the way you order your burgers is so much fun! You get to customize every part from the meat choice, to the bun, toppings, and sauces! They have so many different options to add to your burger!! The burgers are SO good as well!!! We ordered onion rings too, and they were crispy and flavorful. The one thing they should update/fix is the booth seating. Ours had a huge cut in it and was taped to cover it up... didn't look appealing. Other than that our server was friendly and helpful with explaining how the ordering works. If you're looking for a fun way to create a burger to your liking and enjoy a yummy quality burger this place is your spot!

Stack'd Burger Bar Milwaukee, WI Virgin Chocolate Truffle Shake Price: $7 Taste: If you are into boozy shakes, this is a great place to try. I elected for a Virgin Shake and it tasted great. The amount of chocolate was just right. Using vanilla bean ice cream also helps boost the flavor. Consistency: I didn't drink it right away, but it still gave me a little drag. That is a decent blend in my opinion. You still get milkshake through your straw with some work. Appearance: Milkshake in a beer glass. Nothing out of the ordinary. Quality of Service: The bartender was clearly a seasoned vet. He took my order with no issue and was very attentive. Definitely will return. Overall Rating: 3.5 Shakes Instagram: @milkshakelogs

So this is a mixed bag review for me and this was my first time having Stack'd. Note: They do have limited hours during COVID so check before going and there is a good amount of patio seating. Service: 2/5. We had a table of 7-8 people for dinner on a Tuesday which was not very busy. I thought our server did a poor job staying on top of the table in terms of drinks, making sure we have condiments/utensils, and clearing the table. Being a former server I know the difficulty of the position, but I felt this was some of the worst service I have had in MKE. Food: 3.5/5. I ordered the "Kick In The Pants" with a side of sweet potato fries and Garlic Aioli. The burger had bacon, avocado mayo and chipotle jack on it. The fries were delicious and not too crispy with a solid aioli for dipping. The burger honestly tasted like a slightly better version of something I would get at a friends BBQ. Didn't find the burger have a ton of flavor to it and wasn't huge in portion. For $18 for a burger and fries in Milwaukee I was expecting a bit more. If you want a more gourmet burger for a high price you are better off going to Birch + Butcher or Uncle Wolfies. If you are looking for burger variety and a ton of toppings I would recommend Oscars for half the price and double the flavor. Overall I would go back if I was in the area and craving a burger and wanted to go somewhere within walking distance.

I tried the Epic Tart N' Juicy Sour IPA this time and It's actually a pretty good sour beer. My brother got a more fruity sour beer which wasn't as good but not bad. Can't remember which beer he got. I can never say no to the delicious creamy poppers, mac, and burger. Or stealing a few people's fries. ;)) This is one of my favorite restaurants because of the different dietary options. I have a VERY picky family so there's options for everyone. The impossible burgers satisfy everyone in my fam and taste just like the real thing. #Glutenfree #Vegan #Vegetarian
