Really great lunch spot in Belmar. Came here for a quick lunch after church at Red Rocks Lakewood. I had the daily special, which was turkey, bacon, spicy mayo, and pesto on a pretzel bun, with jalapeños added. Service was very friendly; the three young adults there were having fun and seemed to really enjoy serving folks. Bathroom was very clean as was the dining area. I love this sandwich shop. While it doesn't boast those artisan Denver sandwiches with brie and such, this really is one of the best sandwiches in Denver. Probably the best sandwich I've EVER had! Got "The Stack" on a pretzel bun and liked it so much that I went back to this place for lunch the next day. This time I tried the pastrami on pretzel and it too was amazing. Torn between which one I like best! Super great food and great staff. What makes this place so special for me is their pretzel bread! I LOVE pretzel bread. We ordered takeout and got the turkey and bacon, spicy pestl and the Italian. All were amazing. The meat and veggies were fresh and each bite had a ton of flavor which is the second bonus point for me. If it doesn't taste unique and different from any other sub shop, then it's boring to me but STACK is far from boring. Will definitely be coming back to try out other subs but the Italian, as always, was my favorite. read more

Wow!! An excellent sandwich shop! Employees were courteous and patient while I made my choices. Being that I've never been here before it took me a while to figure out what I wanted. I chose the 8 inch Italian on white and I didn't regret my choice at all. The meat was fresh and so flavorful and the veggies were all very crisp and fresh. You could tell they had just been cut. I really enjoyed the local selection of Boulder chips. The malt vinegar and sea salt were excellent. if I lived here this would be a place I would frequent regularly. Excellent job! read more

Unless you are only walking around Belmar, there is absolutely no reason to go here for a sub. Firehouse or Tommy's are better. Not even comparable. The milkshakes are thin. Its hard to tell if they even used ice cream in them. The subs were also thin and didn't taste fresh. They must have microwaved my pastrami in the back to melt the cheese because middle was still cold. The shop does not have a deli vibe, feels like a cheaper version of a firehouse sub. Went down to visit some family up in CO and I stopped for some sandwiches and safe to say I was BEYOND pleased! The workers were instant to greet me at the store and were able to make small talk while they were making my sandwiches. The girl with purple hair who I believed to be named Annie was nothing but a sweetheart, she was able to crack small jokes with me and made me feel very welcome!! The restaurant itself was very clean and everyone seemed very cheerful and the service was very fast. I loved the place so much that I did a second visit before I left and was able to meet more of the staff who went above and beyond to complete my order the way I liked and made sure to keep the environment lively and clean. Safe to say I WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK and getting the turkey bacon special with no bacon. The staff was very understanding about me not being able to eat pork so they got out clean knives and a sanitized tray so there would be no cross-contamination. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 11/10!!! read more

I was not overly impressed with this restaurant. I was staying at the Hyatt House hotel about a block down the street and decided to order dinner and have it delivered, which it said on their website that they will do. When I ordered, the employee taking the order sounded like he had no idea what he was doing and wasn't familiar with their own menu at all. Maybe he was new, but if so, he should have been trained better for phone orders. When I got the food delivered, it was decent but not something so amazing it made me want to go back again. So I was having a particularly bad day. Usually I take my doggie everywhere I can, and I accept that some places don't allow dogs, but that day I wanted to eat something that could give me a little bit of comfort. I passed by Stack many times during our walks, so I asked if it would be alright if I brought my doggie in just to quickly order and sit outside so I wouldn't bother anyone. Cameron - who was very friendly - was the one who answered the phone and said that he was welcomed as long as he didn't bite anyone. So that was a plus to start. When I got there, I was greeted by Cameron and Diane, who both beamed with personality. They welcomed me in, said hi to my doggie, and just generally eased a lot of my depression from that day. The store itself was VERY clean compared to a lot of quick-stops. The employees who work there really, clearly cared about their environment, and that definitely keeps the food clean as well. After a bit of chatter, I decided to order a Club sandwich on a pretzel bun combo. Diane made my order, and I sat outside the stop. I turned on my podcast and dug in. It was, and IS, THE BEST SANDWICH I have had in my life. The ingredients are very fresh compared to places like Quiznos or Subway, which you would pay a similar price for. The vegetables were crisp and fresh, and the meats were top notch quality. I don't know where they order the meats from, but they are the juiciest I've ever tasted. The balance between meat and vegetable was very even, and that just made it taste SO much better. I actually took my time to eat unlike other times where I just rush to get full because I wanted to keep savoring it. The entire experience, plus the delicious sandwich, made me walk back in and order another. There, I met Diana, who was such a sweetheart, and very pleasant. I asked them how I could help spread the word about the restaurant, they told me that the owner loved Yelp reviews, and here I am. I took care into writing this review because it was THAT GOOD of an experience for me. Visiting from out of town (LA), I was surprised to see a sandwich spot using a pretzel bun. Unlike most pretzel buns that are hard as a rock and taste like a cracker, this was soft and served warm. The quality of the meat was very good. Overall, the sandwich was better than which which, submarina, schlotschskys, Quiznos, togo's and for damn sure better than subway. Okay, the subs here really good but today it's not about the food. It's about going above and beyond. I was doing a little work when I over heard this other customer tell the manager he was having a tough day. I'm not sure why and it doesn't matter but what does matter is that the guy looked like he was really having a tough day. The manager bought the guys sub and said that he hoped his day got better and asked the guy to play it forward when he could. Umm Awesome! They make a really good Italian sub. I got it on their wheat baguette with lettuce, onion, Italian seasoning and hot pepper mix (giardiniera). You can taste the quality in their meats and the bread is to die for. Located in Belmar just a couple doors down from the movie theatre - great location and clean. I just moved here from Chicago and loved my visits to the first location when I was in town. Now that I live here now, the location is in a great area.
