My husband received a gift card to Stack 571 for his birthday, and we were really excited to try this place out. We went on Friday at 7p and figured it might be busy, and when they told us it would be a 30-40 minute wait we weren't too surprised. We waited for about 20 minutes, and as we stood looking around we noticed several empty tables so I asked if we could sit at one in the bar, or even at the bar and just order a drink. The hostess said their kitchen was backed up and others were in front of us so we just had to wait. There was one other couple waiting as well, but there were 4 seats AT the bar, and 3 open tables IN the bar area. I've always thought the bar is open seating, but regardless, I was surprised we couldn't just sit and order a drink. I was disappointed, but we ended up going elsewhere. The food is very tasty and fresh, but the prices are steep for casual food. Service was prompt and courteous. The loco moco fries were very poutine-like but would've benefited with a more flavorful gravy and cheese curds instead of mozzarella. The namesake burger was flavorful, cooked to perfection, but it's weird to charge $17 for a basic burger and still need to pay $1 to add cheese. The upgrade to truffle fries is worth the extra $2, but they were stingy with the amount. The misnamed "kale salad" is mostly romaine, but good. We were craving some fries and burgers for dinner, so decided to drive up to Lynwood to try this place. We walked in around 7pm on a Friday night and the place was packed! While originally we were told the wait would be approx 30 min or so, two seats opened up by the bar, which is first come first serve. Our server was at tentative and we ordered the following: - Truffle fries - 571 original burger - Caprese Burger Truffle fries could have used a little bit more truffle taste to it, but the three sauces it came with was very very good. One was a nut-based original sauce, the other was mayo based, and the dark brown was more of a bbq flavored sauce. All three tasted home made and not something you can buy in the store. The fries were a good starter as it was a lot of fries. The original burger is the only burger that comes with 2 small patties and can not be cooked to order your level of cook-ness (medium, rare, etc.). The bun was like a brioche bun and very flavorful. The house sauce added on the bun was a very good compliment and enhanced the flavor. It was not very greasy and was a really good burger. The caprese burger was one large burger with mozzarella and basil in it. This was also delicious. All in all, the burger was good, the place was lively and we had a good time. A whiskey bar sounded pretty cool, so I figured why not go. Upon arrival the restaurant looked clean and everyone was super friendly. My boyfriend and I ordered a whiskey flight based on the waiters recommendation. We got the Local, which consisted of Chambers Bay Greenhorn Bourbon, Woodinville Bourbon, Black Heron Bourbon. The Woodinville bourbon was our favorite. However the other two were just okay. We also got the Poutine Burger, medium rare. However when it came out it was well done and dry. Kind of a disappointment. I ordered the stack 571 combo with the No Joke Nashville Style Chicken and the BLT Chop Chop. And let me say I was beyond disappointed. The sandwich has a sauce on the chicken that lacked a lot of flavor. It almost just tasted like someone was trying to create something spicy and yummy but failed at the second half (being yummy). The salad was also disappointing, there was barley any dressing on it and minimal traces of baby kale (which is the first thing stated as the ingredients so you'd assume there would be more). We lastly got the parmesan truffle fries which were probably the best thing out of the whole meal. More than just a burger place- think gourmet burgers! I've been twice now in the last three days and had exquisite food both times. Friday I had the mushroom burger and tempura green beans, and tonight I ordered the burger of the month with blue cheese, bacon, cooked onions, and I'm pretty sure they sprinkle in awesome sauce too. They cooked both burgers perfectly! Ordered the shake of the month as well, because the server totally sold us on it! Blackberries and basil have been officially married in the goodness of milkshakes. Service has been wonderful, both at the bar and in the dining room. The bartender even put the Mariners on for us! My salmon sandwich was crafted by the gods chibata was soft and the aioli was to die for The not so good... my daughters kids burger is oozing grease and it's just not the greatest taste wise but it's not the worst either. Monday night, after searching for a good beer place in the area, I stumbled upon Stack 571. Tucked away behind the apartments, its easily spotted behind poquitos and amaro restaurant. Plenty of parking spots which are easily accessible too. I arrived just on time for happy hour and decided to take an advantage. All draft beers for 5 dollars? Yes please!! Plenty of great selections on beer for very affordable price. I would definitely come back for the beers alone! My plus one and I ordered the buffalo calamari, poutine fries, and decided to split the 3 peppers burger with a veggie patty instead of the real meat. Out of the three, the buffalo calamari amazed us both! The gravy sauce on the poutine was delicious but the fries were not crunchy nor soggy. Tasted almost undercooked. Not bad enough to bother us, but still not the best. The burger was flavorful but the veggie patty was too mushy and kept falling apart. The bun also became soggy way too quickly even before I had my first bite. Overall, still very delicious and since I dont eat meat, I would order it again. Definitely a cool place to visit if you need to cool off the summer months with a nice beer. They take more pride in their whisky collection(over100!) but I would come back for the buffalo calamari and for more beers! Went here on Day 1 (Mother's Day) and WOW!! Never been to a place so brand spanking new that was operating as smoothly as if it had been around for at least a year. My husband and I sat at the bar and ordered some poutine to start, and I ordered a Stack 571 Smash, a twist on a Whisky Smash. The bartenders actually smashed the ice by hand with a mallet and a freezer sack. The drink had a fantastic mint flavor and a touch of limoncello which was different, but very refreshing. The poutine was a great first impression - the size was perfect enough for one person as a meal, or a great split for 2-4 people. The fries were crispy, with just enough gravy to coat each fry without drowning the dish. There could have been a little more cheese, but that's just me. The cheese was mozzarella, so I know that might turn some people off who prefer a sharper cheese or cheese curds. There was a rosemary spice blend sprinkled on top, which wasn't overpowering, and I was told that for people who don't like rosemary, that topping is totally optional. It's topped with finely crumbled bacon, so it actually sticks to the fries. My husband ordered a small BLT Chop-Chop salad, which was a little bigger than a "Side" salad, but perfect enough for one person looking for a lighter meal. The burger menu is pretty great. I ordered the standard Stack Burger and added some cheddar and bacon to it (A slight shame that the house burger doesn't come with cheese by default). It was a 1/2lb burger with two 1/4lb patties - which is a lot of burger!! Luckily I was told that any burger can be requested with just a single patty. It was cooked to order at my preferred level of doneness and was super tasty - their house "Stack" burger sauce is really good. My only complaint was that the burger was a bit messy - I kept having to wipe sauce running down my arm. Make sure to roll up your sleeves! None of the burgers come with any sides by default, but you can choose between Standard, Waffle, or Truffle fries, fried green beans, or onion rings for about $5 extra - and I do recommend splitting a side! I got some green beans with my burger. The coating was light and crispy, but held on well enough to the beans. They were topped with a garlic parmesan sprinkle and served with 3 sauces - a red pepper Romanesco sauce, which was lightly spiced with sriracha; a Barbecue Aioli, which was sweet and a lot tastier than I expected; and the house Stack Sauce, which was our favorite. The whisky selection is MASSIVE!! If memory serves right, they had 112 whisky varieties on the shelf, and several flights available for tasting. They also have a pleasant selection of local brews on tap, as well as milkshakes that can be spiked if you so desire. I only had cocktails (The Smash, a Daiquiri, and a Barrel Aged bourbon cocktail) but I'm eager to explore more of the drink menus. Finally: The Service. Wow. You NEVER get service this good on day 1 of ANY establishment. All of the bartenders were super friendly, and if there were any questions about the food or the drinks or anything else, nobody hesitated to find the information, even if it meant apologizing and dipping away to find someone who could answer. We met with both the bar manager and restaurant manager, who were very humble and welcoming. Everyone seemed to work very well together and we didn't see or hear of any drama. It was great. We look forward to coming back, especially since their happy hour looks pretty good - everything under $10, and they have a particular margarita that is ONLY served during HH - Hmmm.... Came here with friends. It was a Friday night so packed to the max (not surprising for Bothell area). My friend waited 30 minutes before getting a table but she was able to get a drink while she waited. They don't take reservations. Parking is very tricky for this area so I recommend carpooling if you can, or be prepared to walk. I got the shrimp salsa with lemon tortilla chips. I was surprised by how few chips you got but they had good flavor (and you can get more if you ask at no charge). I wasn't very impressed with the salsa, it didn't have much flavor and tasted store bought, that being said it's a burger place so that may be what you should try. My friends all enjoyed their food. The fries come in parmesan or regular and you typically get it as a shared thing (comes in a bucket). It also comes with 3 sauces. As for drinks, I tried their slammer drink which had good flavor but also a ton of ice (I think it was their version of a mojito inspired drink). We came here to meet some friends who live in the area for a late lunch and you'd think for a late lunch the place wouldn't be so packed, but it was! Word on the street in Bothell is that this new burger joint, Stack 571 Burger & Whiskey Bar is the new eatery to check out. Unfortunately, I just wasn't impressed with the food. Since we came right as happy hour was starting we decided to take advantage of the discounted drinks on happy hour. I ordered a Blueberry Smash cocktail and thought it was good for the most part. It was a tad too sweet to how I generally like my cocktails, but liked the berry flavor with vodka. For food I ordered the Burger of the Month, which was the Big Stack, resembling that of a Big Mac, and a side of Tempura Green Beans and Waffles Fries to share with the table, since everything is a la carte. Of all the food items, I liked the Waffle Fries best. They were seasoned well, with some spice and had crispy edges. But unfortunately, I was not a fan of the Tempura Green Beans, as the tempura batter on the green beans was not well-coated. The batter kept slipping off the bean as soon as you picked it up to bite into it; therefore, you're pretty much then just eating green beans. Most of the batter was left on the plate. The Big Stack, the burger of the month, was the most disappointing part though. Stack 571 claims that all of their burgers are half-pound; yet, the patties seemed too small, especially when in combination with the large three pieces of bun that make up most of the burger. Not only did you taste most of the bun, but there was an overload of onions. But what I really wanted to taste though were the patties that were sadly overshadowed by the bread and onions. I would not order this again. Although I do like the atmosphere of Stack 571 Burger & Whiskey Bar and believe it's the kind of place that a growing community like Bothell needs, I just wouldn't drive here from Bellevue, specifically for the food. We have eaten at Stack several times, we love their burgers and truffle fries However after our experience today I don't think we will go back. The customer service is always mediocre at best. The staff pay very little attention to the customers and chat with each other in plain sight. Today they served us well done crispy fries. When we tolet our waitress she asked if we wanted new ones. When we said yes she took them back to the window to tell the cooks and possible the manager. They all looked at us and they appeared to be talking about us. Then when our food cane out there was a piece of plastic in my chili. The manager didn't even apologize he just said ewe oh man. I hope the manager will stop chatting with his staff aNd instead teach them how to interact with tti wit customers and do some quality control in the kitchen. Our group of four was on our way to Woodinville and we wanted to stop somewhere for lunch. Stack 571 in Bothell was fairly new and I was in the mood for burgers and everyone seemed satisfied with the choice. Our host immediately greeted us and opened the door for us and showed us to our seats. Our server was very nice and went over the menu with us. We split a Rye Whiskey flight, which was a very good way to sample different whiskies without buying a bottle. My significant other ordered a cocktail and she said it was very good. Burgers here do not come with any sides and those are sold Ala carte, so a burger plus a side can add up really quickly. I ordered the Fatted Sow because I am always hungry and it seemed like a very unique option to have. My significant other ordered the lunch special with a side Sesame Chicken Salad. It was probably an off day because everything seemed to be moving slow for some reason. When the food came out, my significant other ended up with a different salad than what she ordered. That was corrected, but took a bit of time to fix. Furthermore, we also ordered a side of waffle fries and onion rings with our meals as well. Our meals came out first and we actually finished our meal before the sides even came out. The food was very good. We finally got the waffle fries and they were also excellent. At some point, we had to ask another server about our order of onion rings and whether or not they were coming out or if we could get the bill. Eventually, our onion rings came out and they were as good as I had hoped. They came with three different dipping sauces which were the same as what came with the waffle fries. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and would come back for the food. I am not sure what happened during lunch but there seemed to be a lack of communication between the server and the kitchen. Gave Stack a try and have to say overall it was a positive experience. Our server was pleasant and friendly which was nice. The atmosphere was open, bright and had a fun quality about it. We ordered onion rings as an appetizer which were spot on taste wise. For entrees we had a couple of different burgers; the Stack Burger and Poutine. Both were well cooked and looked great. The only knock on them was there was a definite lack of seasoning on the burger itself that was kind of disappointing and if it had been present it would have elevated them to top-notch. We also had two orders of the Maple Chicken salad and that was so very good! The toughest part of eating there was being able to eat there...parking is a bit of a pain but that's not on the restaurant. Finally, a big, big shout out to the employees. My son accidentally left his wallet at our table when we left and by the time we figured it out and drove back it was well over an hour later.
