Stable Reserve has a great dual vibe as a coffee lounge by day and cocktail lounge by night. The space is cozy and inviting, with a small stage in the back for live music and their songwriter series. There's also a cute small front patio that's perfect when the weather is nice and you want to take in the Main Street Franklin views. They have a great selection of espresso martinis (my favorite), old fashioneds and other rotating seasonal cocktails. It's one of my favorite spots for drinks before or after dinner in downtown Franklin!

We were exploring downtown Franklin and this was one of the bars on my list so we stopped it. It is modern with different seating options light couches, lounge chairs, and high tops. Really great modern rustic look. Everyone takes care of you so it's really easy to order and get any questions answered. everyone was great and really helpful when giving recommendations and telling by us about the distillery. I ordered the 105 Sour and absolutely loved it. It was fresh, bold with flavor, and better than any traditional whiskey sour because they don't just use sour mix. This is a great place to stop in and enjoy. I haven't tried their espresso martini, but I'll be back to try it soon!

Stopped by here on a Thursday evening. Great vibes and a cool place. Superb Bourbons. Spoke to several employees and guests and they recommended the Espresso Martini. Had one fantastic. Was told by the bartender that they serve literally hundreds of them. Tried the Stable Reserve Coffee Cream Liqueur. Truly a wonderful and fantastic experience. Bought a bottle for my girlfriend. When I'm in Franklin again I will definitely be back here.

The drinks, atmosphere and service have been 10/10 across two visits. Fun to have a locally-owned place making excellent spirits. The salsa truck on the back may also have our favorite street tacos in TN.

We were visiting Franklin on a freezing, cold Sunday and wanted to warm up somewhere with a few cocktails. Stable Reserve was exactly what the doctor ordered! We got lucky and sat in the very back which was perfect for our party of four. It was cozy, warm, and so inviting. Our server was so great and helpful in explaining all of the drinks and spirits. I started with the Lunchbox which was delicious and spirit forward as an Old Fashion should be. My friend and I split The Original Espresso martini for our second drink that they kindly split into two glasses for us. Highly recommend making a stop at Stable Reserve Distillery when you're in Franklin!

Delicious espresso cocktails. Great bartenders and lovely ambience. Taste the limencello!

An incredibly swanky addition to Main Street! The Stable Reserve offers a dose of ambiance a notch above what I've experienced in Franklin. The layout allows room to breathe & enjoy conversation while sipping & snacking. I tried the "Tres Hombres" (SR take on a spicy margarita, made with jalepeno-infused vodka) & it hit all the right notes. A nice heat level, strong & citrusy - would 100% recommend & will be ordering again! As for snacking, the whipped ricotta is what dreams are made of... I want to slather it on everything. The staff is attentive and engaging. F&B manager, Marcus, told us all about the rich history of the Stable Reserve and we were riveted! Be sure to ask what's behind the name when you pop in. Even better, they double as a coffee shop in the morning! Morning or night, The Stable Reserve is the place for a drink on Main Street!

Latte made with house made bourbon liqueur

We popped in here mid week looking for a good late and it was ah-mazing! The bartender was super friendly and welcoming. We loved hearing the story and about the products. They make their own liqueur and then a latte with that and I would hands down plan another trip to Franklin just for that! Plus the place was clean, and offered plenty of seating - and a bathroom! Which was hard to come by in town. After finishing our lattes we asked to sample the liqueur and a few of their other items. They poured two each at no charge. Needless to say we bought a bottle of bourbon and liqueur.

The Four Twelve

Ambiance, very friendly people. Long wait to sit which I guess speaks for itself. Finally got me a seat and ordered the Four Twelve. Very nice!

Cool decor and seating

I went here on a weekday for a quick coffee and I was not disappointed! I ordered an iced white mocha with oat milk. I was greeted with a smile at the register and my drink was made quickly. When I order coffee with oat milk, the flavor can be hit or miss. But my coffee tasted excellent. Not too bitter and not too sweet. I wish I had more time to hang out because the ample seating and cool ambience made me want to get comfortable and stay a while.

We were visiting Nashville during Labor Day weekend and decided to venture out to downtown Franklin. We heard that it was a cute little city and we landed on stable reserve serendipitously! It has such a cool vibe, coffee shop/ bar that makes their own vodka, bourbon & gin! Not to mention a lot of cute merchandise - got a little sweatshirt that was affordable and comfy. As for the drinks, one of the employees told me they have the best espresso martinis and since I am an avid espresso martini judge/drinker - had to get it. It was delicious and a must get. Not overly sweet, you taste the vodka while balanced/creamy. Amazing! A must get if you're here. Their gin was also delicious. We prefer more piney flavored gins so it wasn't our favorite but very smooth. Stable reserve please expand and come to Tampa FL

It's not a huge place but plenty of room to sit or stand and hang out with friends. We got there a little early so we grabbed 2 seats at the bar. This is where the magic happens. The bartenders there are talented mixologists. Dave was so nice and helpful. He taught me a Pina Colada is supposed to be on the rocks. It was fabulous! I also had 2 of the holiday drinks that were delicious. By far the best place to go for great cocktails. They also have a small and reasonably priced snack/bar food menu. Just an experience. The food was odd...I was expecting a traditional buffalo chicken dip but instead it was cold. It's a fun time and something unique to do if in Franklin, TN.

The Pond is a self described dive bar located in a strip mall area in Franklin Tennessee…read more I like to patronize places that aren't chains and aren't super popular spots when I travel, as I enjoy being around common folks in areas that I go to. The Pond doesn't disappoint. It is exactly what one would expect when seeking a dive bar atmosphere. A little ratty, a little rowdy and a whole lot of fun. The coup de grace was they had Guinness on tap, which was completely unexpected. We traveled to Franklin looking for an alternative to Broadway in Nashville on our first night in town. It is worth the trip. Franklin is a very old town with great old architecture and buildings over 200 years old that still look stunning. The Pond was the real reason for my drive down although it was our last stop on our tour of Franklin. The staff was friendly, the Hamburger and fries was delicious, and the beer was cold. They have many options to choose from on tap. They have Darts inside and a couch you'd find down in your friends basement that he found on a tree bank trash day, but that simply adds to the dive bar charm. We stayed for one drink and the burger as we were exhausted from a red eye flight the night before. If you're looking for a dive bar that stays open late and apparently gets packed as the night goes on, this is the spot for you. Most places close early in Franklin, so this is apparently the after hours spot that everyone ends up going to when all other options are closed. The Pond reminded me of a few dive bar spots in Vegas, and I have to recommend you pay them a visit, if for no other reason, just to say you've been there.

My colleague and I noticed they had a control with green chartreuse in the mix so we had to have the mixologist make us a green chartreuse cocktail. The taste was phenomenal! For starters (because we were all starving), we ordered the fondue and the seafood tower to start off. I was so excited for the seafood tower since it included caviar. The flavors were delicious, but it was time to try the caviar. We asked the food and beverage manager the options and we did the on wrist "bump" method. I wasn't a huge fan, but very excited that I was able to try it out. Now the fondue, you can never go wrong with. Cheese and carbs, what's not to love? Flavor was devine. I wasn't looking over the menu and wanted to try the special, but by the time we ordered they were already out. I ordered the filet Oscar with the special sauce they had and was wowed by all the flavor and the cook on the steak. The chef really knows what he's doing here. For dessert we ordered the chocolate cake and the crème brûlée. Both fantastic! This is now my favorite place in Franklin's dm cannot wait to be back.

Ratings Husband - 4 star - roast beef…read moreSon - 4 - alligator Me - 3 - burger Sides - fried green tomatoes & red beans & rice. I got outvoted and they got a 4. Husband got the roast beef. He enjoyed it but thought it was too much bread. He prefers when they pull some of the bread out. It had debris and that's probably why he gave them a 4. We shared a side of red beans & rice. He thought the flavors were nice. I did not. It was like playing a game of find the beans. It was overly spicy and resembled a sausage soup. I've never had soupy red beans & rice (that barely had any beans) before so I wasn't a fan. Son got the alligator and fried green tomatoes. He really liked the sandwich. It looked like it had a nice amount of gator in it. The fried green tomatoes were overly spiced (come on not everything in Cajun food is a heat bomb - I'm from New Orleans so I know my Cajun food). Having said that - the tomatoes were done right. Not greasy and the crisp was good. Me - burger and this was where things went sideways and they lost a star. I have food allergies. I very carefully pick places where I can eat and make sure to stress what I cannot have. It's nothing crazy. Seafood, dairy, eggs.... so I chose the burger with no cheese. I don't like pickles or onions so asked those be removed as well. It comes out, no cheese. Yay! But it had so many pickles in it! I spent a good amount of time deconstructing it. Then there was the meat to bread ratio. 1/3 of the sandwich was just bread. I wasn't a fan of how they placed the burger on it. I thought it was a good idea to make a burger po'boy but the burger should have been placed differently or something. So between the "find the beans" soup and the mostly bread burger? I had to give them 3 stars. Ambiance - typical mall restaurant. Service - solid 4 star.

This was our "splurge" dinner on a trip to Franklin, TN. My friend we were visiting had been before…read moreand had raved about it, but even she agreed this visit just wasn't up to snuff. The place is beautiful, but we were seated in the least interesting area. My friend said it used to be an open patio and was renovated for more indoor seating, which makes sense, but it lacked any real atmosphere. When I am spending this kind of money I want a slow, leisurly pace, and this felt rushed. Yes, we probably could have asked the waiter to slow things down, but we didn't. I ordered a specialty cocktail - the Midnight Sun that was delish - it was layered and around $16. The waiter then brought out what ended up being the highlight of the meal, a little treat from the chef. It was a creamy gnocchi dish to share, about three pieces each, super rich and honestly I could have eaten 20 more. We also spilt the bread flight. The bread was good but I wasn't a fan of the spreads, I'm a BUTTER person, these were more like bean spreads. The brussels sprouts with pork were also really good. Hubby and I split a mixed green salad that was pretty mediocre, and the croutons were almost too hard to chew. Then came the pork, which was a dissapointment. It was so tough it actually got caught in my throat a couple times despite chewing it well. We didn't even finish it. For the price, it should have been tender and full of flavor, and it was neither. My friend ordered the duck pasta and said it had "weird pieces of meat" in it. Her husband got the filet and loved it, so at least someone at the table was happy. We skipped dessert after most of us had disappointing entrees. I guess the good news is they rotate the menu every few months, so maybe it would be a totally different experience next time.

Very nice restaurant!…read more We had reservations at 7:45, checked in early and were seated on arrival. Upon entering the restaurant it seemed swamped but the staff was well prepared for the guests. Our server, was amazing! (I'm ashamed we didn't remember his name, Paul maybe). Nonetheless, he knew the menu, the specials, the drinks, and suggestions! We loved each and everyone of the suggestions and choices we made. Our dining experience started with the signature old fashion followed by a bottle of Heitz Cellars Cabernet! We ordered the lamb and brisket buns. Both were savory, delicious and well prepared. Followed by their Sushi Roll. It was described as "if you love sushi, you've never had anything like this." (I've had a ton of Sushi all over the world, and this was a spectacular Hamachi Roll.) we rounded out our meal with the Butternut Burrata and bread basket and a Beef Tenderloin. It was cooked to perfection and able to be cut with a fork. (I am salivating thinking about how perfectly it was prepared.) Just when we thought it couldn't be any better our server suggested we look at the dessert menu. He tempted me with a blood orange sorbet followed by a peanut butter chocolate pie. AMAZING! The fun thing was, I consumed the Heitz Cabernet throughout my entire meal - all the way through dessert. My high remarks to the chef and the staff because this team knows how to please and perform flawlessly!
