My boyfriend is also closely involved with the club, meaning I've been to this little venue a few times over the past year at various charity nights and events, which the Wee Club frequently hosts. Situated in very close proximity to Ibrox, The Wee Rangers Club is probably best known for it's match day hospitality, with a four course meal and guaranteed on site parking for 40 pounds per person. My dad and my boyfriend both highly recommend this. I have had a meal at the club on a couple of occasions and it was delicious. I've been informed that it is made by a chef that usually works at one of Glasgow's best hotels, so it was no surprise when the dishes came out beautifully presented like you would get in an expensive restaurant. I have always been seated in The John Brown suite which looks tiny but can hold around 120 people. You can hire this suite out for a cost of 200 pounds to non-members. The decor of the place is clean, modern and subtle, with reminders that the club is for the Rangers supporters but it isn't over the top or in your face at all. I will definitely be back for another function, the friendly stewards and bar staff made me feel very welcome, and it's ideal for a pre-match drink (or two).

The price for drink is also spot on and to top it all off the party atmosphere during/after the football is the best. So i would recomend it to anyone.

First-Hand Experience: I was lucky enough to be taken to an Arthurlie home game by Dave B, and he was right... Scottish Amateur Football is something that every football fan should experience once in their life. I'm also delighted to see Arthurlie are already on Yelp thanks to Tony. It was, despite the tiny freezing facilities and ageing ground, one of the best and most enjoyable footy experiences I've had in Scotland. I would come back again in a heartbeat. It was 2011 when I saw them play here, and I'm hoping to come again in 2016. This is a little amateur team in Barrhead, and they are much more fun to watch than some of the big teams in Scotland because the fans are so down to earth and passionate, they don't take it too seriously, and the prices of everything are dirt cheap. I highly recommend everyone stop by and watch them and see for yourself how great Scottish Amateur Football can be.

You also have a small pie stall shop thing in a concrete building. Every time I have gone their has always been a few hundreds people so a decent crowd for a small game and almost all are local and attend the matches regularly as the season tickets are cheap.

First-Hand Experience: When I was a lad, this team was legendary because they were so old. I managed to see them play in 1994, and I was lucky enough to be one of the last, as they went out of business soon after. I'll always remember them and the spirit of their fans, and hope that the club is resurrected someday. I had a great time watching them live and in person. It was one of my first trips to Scotland to watch footy. I wasn't going to review this old, defunct team that has been resurrected as a youth team, but I have a good memory of them and watching them live, and then I found this listing so I thought I'd say what I wanted to say about them when I reviewed their old stadium, Kilbowie: From 1939 to 1996 this was the home of the Clydebank football team, who then ceased to exist and are sorely missed. Hopefully they'll come back to life someday and their fans can have them back. I have visited this place but never saw Clydebank play so I and many others would love them to come back. It once had 15k fans but usually had 10k. Kilbowie was the first all seater stadium in the UK. The current incarnation of the team is a junior team. The senior team no longer exists. The museum in Hampden Park has some of the rubble of the stadium on display. Vico Properties bought the land, bulldozed the stadium and turned it into the Kilbowie Retail Park.

Which is why I was delighted, when attending the Junior Cup Final last year in which Clydebank played Auchinleck Talbot, to see hundreds of people from my hometown cheer on their local team, including high school children. The success of Clydebank FC is all sweeter second time round as the former senior club was disbanded in 2002 after Airdrie bought it over. Now in its new location of Holm Park in Yoker, the future of Clydebank FC is looking bright. Last week they knocked out last year's rivals Auchinleckto book a spot in this year's Junior Cup quarter finals. 'Mon the Bankies!
