Robert, Max, and Dewayne were a great crew. They arrived on time, and they hustled. We mostly used…read morethem for furniture and a few smaller items, and the cold didn't deter them. Minneapolis moving services are some of the most expensive anywhere I've experienced. I hope that simply means that MN companies pay their labor well. We paid $1365 + $180 tip (optional, but come on) for a 3-man crew at $260/hr (2-hour minimum), and we obviously also provided snacks and drinks (they declined breakfast). For comparison, in San Francisco it was $250/hr for 5 men. The rate was with both the weekday discount and winter pricing. Weekend would have been $285/hr for 3 men, and $345 for 4 men. There was no trip fee. Robert, in particular was incredible; he moved a 6 drawer dresser down a tight stairwell alone. They needed to remove the front door at one point, but did so without issue. They also were happy to use our own furniture pads and plastic wrap (leftover from a cross-country move). At one point, they had to back the huge truck through the alley on icy ground, and had no problems. Also, it was easy to provide them inventory by email, and easy to reach them by phone. Lots of moving companies were annoying to contact, which is partly why we chose this one. One a few minor issues: one piece of furniture was shedding pieces of wood. I think they were reinforcements put on by previous owners. I didn't even know they were there, and it doesn't seem to have affected the furniture. They also forgot a couple of items in the yard, including a big smoker we had to move on our own. It's partly my fault, I told them we were good to go. Also, we were made to sign a lot of paperwork, and at various points it was for things like "you confirm that nothing is broken and everything has arrived" and, like, it's weeks later and I'm still unpacking, there is no way I would have known for sure. It's fine, because so far we have had no issues, but if someone did have issues it might feel like being strong-armed via contract. The guys in the truck were just doing their jobs, so it's the process that is problematic more than anything. We would use these guys again!

My brother-on-law moved 3 trailers full of stuff, going back and forth from Hugo to Blaine before they even got to my house the first time, we all left at the same time. I think they were intentionally slow so they could charge us 4x's the amount quoted to me for an entire day (which is only 4 hours for them). They also broke multiple items, even with their "insurance" I was not reimbursed for anything. I also had to have them correct the contract 5 times before they actually got it correct. This company is horrible, if I could give them negative stars I would. This company is so crooked they are a circle! Response: your crew did not take an unpaid lunch break, it was included in the time they added to my bill at the end. They also very much pressure me to tip them because, as they put it, "This company does not pay us very well." Not only was I quoted roughly $1500, and it ended up costing me almost $5K for the service, I ended up tipping them because they know where I live and I didn't want anything to happen to my wife, and your crew took more breaks than they actually worked. Regardless of what you say, your company is crooked, incompetent, and needs to be put out of business. My next report is to the BBB!

Kolby and his crew showed up on time, rearranged my 26 foot Uhaul that had been loaded badly already (moving to Alaska from MN). Got everything nice and snug, and then loaded what I needed from my apt and garage with a little room to spare. Kolby and his young crew were very respectful and moved things quickly, asking me along the way what should be loaded or not. My stuff was complicated. Got it done in a minimal amount of time too. The following day, I went to uhaul to pick up a car hauler, only to find out that they could only hook the trailer to the truck and help to load my vehicle, but they couldn't strap my vehicle to the trailer. Also the trailer didn't have straps, it was a toy hauler. I am a senior women, I don't know how to do this. After calling a friend for suggestions, and a tow company that couldn't do it, I called Doug. They were just finishing a moving job, he said they'd be there in about 30 minutes. And they were. Doug went with me into the uhaul store and picked out the straps I needed, and he and Kolby got my Jeep all strapped down. Even checked that the trailer was on the truck hitch correctly. We used the Move Crew for a move from St. Cloud MN to Minneapolis MN. They called as scheduled to…read morecheck in and give us an ETA. When they arrived they took a quick look at amount of items and then got to work usually taking 2-3 boxes per trip to truck. They wrapped items in blankets then plastic wrap to keep safe or just plastic to keep drawers in place. They even moved and loaded all the extra random items like packages of toilet paper and a bag of canned food. At the new place they laid down rugs and plastic to protect the floor as they moved items in. They made sure furniture was placed in the area we wanted and even helped adjust as needed. Overall a job well done and it ended up being on the lower side of the estimate.
