Lavender latte and a brekkie sandwich
Linda M.

I went while vacationing in NOLA & this coffee shop definitely does not disappoint. The staff are so kind, the coffee and food are simply amazing. We loved it so much that before heading back home we stopped for my lavender latte and iced coffee and a Brekkie sandwich which is absolutely delicious! The chef knows her way around the kitchen for sure! I can't wait to return.

I live in the neighborhood. I don't go to cafes nearly as often as I should, let alone this one. But I've started to pop by more often because their food is low-key one of the cheapest and tastiest breakfast options in the neighborhood. Grits, burritos, potatoes, bagels. Their coffee is really good, plus they always have good doughnuts. The people who work here are cool. There's a sort of a Bohemian, 1970s cafe vibe going on both inside and out. There's usually a clothing rack with items for sale from a local vendor. I wouldn't be surprised if I walked in to the sounds of a slightly off-kilter personality playing acoustic guitar with a tip jar, though that's never been the case. It's definitely not a tourist place. In fact, there have been multiple occasions where I felt like I got out of here just in time before I had to interact with someone completely unhinged. But that's par for the course in New Orleans, baby. In that respect, this is a very good New Orleans place.

BEST BREAKFAST BURRITOS IN NEW ORLEANS. Ingredients are fresh, staff is friendly and polite. What more could you ask for? I don't know, but they'd probably have that too.

Iced mocha....crazy delicious cold or hot!!!
Reggie B.

New Orleans is known for excellence in a lot of things, including coffee....Saint Coffee is no exception to this excellence! I have had iced mocha in a large number of coffee shops, but this mocha was EXCEPTIONAL!!!! Creamy, sweet without adding any sweetener and chocolatey to the last bit in the cup. Folks, just go in and ask for a large cup of deliciousness....ask for hot or cold, depending on your liking!! I WILL return for another one tomorrow....yeah, I'm hooked!

Dog friendly, lovely outdoor yard

Feeling lucky this was the first meal of my trip to Nola. Great breakfast options including bagels, burritos, breakfast sandwiches and my favorite, grit bowls. For $5.50, I couldn't turn it town. Despite inflation it seems the prices have seemed steady over the year but you couldn't tell by quality - the food was made with love. The sautéed onions and peppers, the best cheese grits I've had in a long time. All milk and cream types including oat milk available at the bar. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating in their massive yard. Check out their vintage rack, really nice variety of stuff at a great price and profits go to charity. Everyone here seems to go above and beyond, I'd be here every day if I lived nearby!!!

I am updating my review to reflect the new (to me) awesome courtyard and my new go to summer refresher, the red drink (rooibos tea with hibiscus).

The bacon burrito and the medium sized latte with lavender flavoring.

This place is SOOOOOOO YUMMY! If you are looking for a perfect breakfast to start your morning off right COME HERE. I loved the lavender flavor with the latte and I had an awesome bacon burrito. This place is AWESOME!

Cafe Du Monde - Beignets with hot chocolate

Cafe Du Monde

Cafe du Monde is one of the most famous places in the French Quarter of New Orleans. It's very…read morecasual and definitely cash only. It's a place many tourist bureaus tell you to go and have a beignet or 10 with their own signature coffee. Their beignets are made fresh with a lot of excess powdered sugar on them. It's a definite place where friends are made and experiences are often shared with friends in the French Quarter. I've been here twice before but didn't file a Yelp review until this trip in 2026 October. The ambiance here can be wild and I can tell they do swift business here daily since it's so popular with the locals and the tourists. The seating area maxes capacity about maybe 50 people at any given time. You order from a window and it's cash only. There's an ATM nearby so be prepared to bring cash or your ATM card before ordering. The beignets are definitely made fresh and served 3 per order. Order enough and you'd have a party for one in your mouth while vacationing in New Orleans. Best bet would be to come early enough before the craziness swoops in. On my latest endeavor into the French Quarter, I arrived here around 12:45pm on a Tuesday afternoon and the tables had been overrun with tourists and locals alike, scrambling for the freshest beignets available that day. Maybe I got lucky, since I found an ATM nearby and withdrew $40 and bought enough beignets for a snack and possible dinner companions later in the day, since I had lunch already before walking over. No matter what your itinerary is in the French Quarter, make it a priority to come here on your trip to New Orleans. The overall experience here at Cafe Du Monde - French Market was crazy and a lot of turmoil due to the sheer size of the people who come here everyday. I managed to order my beignets (16), couple of cold sodas, and ordered it to go. While waiting for my order, I saw a bunch of people leave after dining in and another group seem to swoop in for their empty tables. I was surprised and mad at the same time. Oh well, must be tourists I guess. I ended up walking to the Caesar's Palace casino on the north end of the French Quarter and sat in their food court and enjoyed some of the beignets along with the sodas in tow. Cafe Du Monde is an open air restaurant and it has been here at the French Market for so many decades. This location is the first Cafe Du Monde location that ever opened up in New Orleans before it expanded into varying locations around town and even at the MSY airport - terminal B. It was nice to be here and order in a big amount of beignets for my own consumption. It's always cool to see a New Orleans institution thrive here and there's many tourists and locals who love beignets as much as the next person. For the most part though, Cafe Du Monde is a treasure and definitely a must do on your trip to New Orleans. Beignets are great but it's always a delicacy here in New Orleans. Do yourself a favor if you are craving some good and fresh beignets or just looking for an excuse to come back to New Orleans. Cafe Du Monde -French Market is located in New Orleans's French Quarter. It's physically located at 800 Decatur Street, New Orleans. They are cash only, as mentioned before. Bring cash beforehand or find an ATM nearby first. As far as parking goes, you'd be hard-pressed to find street parking, although there are some paid parking garages nearby, if you can look for them. There can be street parking though, but hard to come by on a random day. If you're a lover of public transportation, consider the right local bus routes to get here from your original destination. They'll be glad to have you but bring cash. Cash is king around here. And as always, there's always Uber or Lyft to assist you with bringing you here expeditiously and timely so you don't miss out on these delicious beignets and all these goodies that Cafe Du Monde has to offer. Do yourself a favor. Come here. You belong here for real. Make your stomach sing here on your next trip to Cafe Du Monde in the French Quarter. 5.0 stars for the overall experience, while crazy ambiance, it's the iconic place. Support local! A+

This is a must visit for me!…read more Yes, there are plenty of places to at serve beignets BUT not this way! Staff are experts servers. They can clear out a table, take an order and deliver the awesome beignets, coffee and even souvenirs within minutes. Our server was the best. She whisked in and whisked right out. During this Halloween weekend, the lines were massive. It's basically grab a table if you see one. Others stand in line for takeaway. The beignets melt in your mouth with its boatload of powdered sugar. Coffee is chicory. Strong as ever! Tables are cleaned in minutes so don't stress over a table not cleaned.

The Vintage - New Orleans, LA…read more The Vintage on Magazine Street was our very first food stop in New Orleans, and it turned out to be a great way for my wife and me to start our trip. From the moment we walked in, I really liked the atmosphere. The place has a cool, relaxed New Orleans vibe with a little bit of an upscale café feel without being overly fancy. It's the kind of spot where you can come in, sit down, enjoy some good food and drinks, and just take your time. Of course, we couldn't come to New Orleans and not start things off with beignets! We decided to go with the Fancy Beignet Flight, which gave us a chance to try several different flavors. We got the raspberry, s'mores, and Chantilly. They came out looking almost too good to eat, covered in powdered sugar with all the different fillings and toppings. Almost... because we definitely ate them! They were warm, sweet, messy in the best possible way, and a fun introduction to our New Orleans food adventure. For my meal, I ordered the Italian Panini with the truffle Parmesan fries. The sandwich was packed with meat, cheese, and flavor. Looking at that cross-section, they definitely weren't being stingy with the fillings! The bread was toasted nicely, and everything worked well together. The truffle fries were another highlight. They had plenty of seasoning and Parmesan and paired perfectly with the sandwich. I also grabbed a small iced mocha, which went really well with the food and especially the beignets. One thing I really enjoyed about The Vintage was the atmosphere. The interior has a lot of character, from the marble tables and vintage-style flooring to the bar and pastry display. It feels like a place that belongs on Magazine Street. It was comfortable enough that we didn't feel rushed and could just enjoy being in New Orleans together. The service was good during our visit, and everything came together for a really enjoyable first meal in the city. Our bill came to around $48 after tax and tip for the two of us, and considering we had a sandwich, upgraded fries, drinks, and the beignet flight, I thought it was a good experience for the money. Most importantly, this place gave my wife and me a great start to our New Orleans trip. When your first stop includes a loaded Italian panini, truffle Parmesan fries, iced coffee, and a whole flight of beignets, you know the trip is starting off right! Definitely a place I would visit again. Great food, great atmosphere, and a great first taste of New Orleans. 5 stars from us!

We ordered to go and got rained on. Towards the front there is a seating area that we stayed in to eat our beignets! Service was great.
