Can't speak higher of this place.
I was cycling around the country and was met in reception by a lovely young lady who was warm and super friendly. (sorta red hair, younger girl, pretty, in case a manager or GM is reading... she represents your establishment very well and deserves the accolades!)
The upstairs chillout room was fantastic. Everytime I went in, there were happy people enjoying each others company. I was traveling solo, and made friends really quickly. Over some badass games of jenga.
I got a bit too drunk on my second night and tried to walk out with two pitchers of beer, thinking i could be cheeky and get upstairs to "water" the jenga players.... not allowed. Rightfully so, IM SORRY! However the bartender, and security, were SO friendly about it. They could tell I was just being a bit stupid, security told me to keep the pitchers and bring the jenga down to the pub! Not agro at all, after I was admittedly a bit of a pain in the butt for him.
I am finally back home to Surrey, after many hostels and many miles on my bike. My time in Bath with St. C's was a major highlight. Clean, over the top friendly, beautiful, decent price, decent breakfast for SUPER cheap with the pre-paid vouchers, great fellow patrons, washrooms in top shape, good sport crowd, great location, 10/10.
Thank you, again.
