Rich truly went above and beyond to help me. He took the time to make sure I received the correct prescription and that I had everything I needed in time. He was incredibly patient, kind, professional and extremely thorough throughout the entire process. What could have continued to be a very stressful and frustrating situation was completely turned around because of Rich. He listened to my concerns, treated me with respect and genuinely seemed to care about helping me resolve the issue. This is exactly what excellent customer service should look like. Rich is an absolute asset to Raymond Opticians, and I cannot thank him enough for his kindness and for going out of his way to help me. Highly recommend the Yonkers location.

They claimed the exam takes 25 minutes, which has not been my experience elsewhere. It is clear they care more about hitting the exit door than helping a new patient who was ready to buy a nice pair of frames. They tried to reschedule me for tomorrow, but I declined. Just for the record, the eye exam was performed by an associate of Dr. King's. During my examination, I was told that I had cataracts, but was never told that I needed prisms, for my double vision. After receiving my prescription, I had it filled out at another location, because they were so expensive, and it did not help, at all. I called the office, left a voice mail, and did not receive a return call. For this alone, this practice is unprofessional. After all of this unnecessary running around, and knowing that I received a cataracts diagnosis, I received an emergency appointment at my regular eye Dr. Not only did he reassure me, that I did NOT have cataracts, but he prescribed prisms, which took care of my double vision. Prisms, which Dr. King's associate never even mentioned. Thanks to the perfect diagnosis, and prescription of Dr. Brown, I was able to enjoy my vacation with no vision issues. If you're looking for a professional, and correct exam, go to Dr. Andrew Brown, in Teaneck, and never come to this office.

She did an eye exam and convinced me to try a new brand of monthly contacts which I did, and was dissatisfied. I then tried another brand of monthly contacts. Still no luck. I actually went back to using an older prescription of contacts just to get some eye comfort. I was having such issues with my eyes I finally scheduled a new appointment with another doctor and that doctor diagnosed me with protein deposits in my eyes and issued me prescription drops and disposable contacts. I'm disappointed that she didn't listen to my concerns from the get-go.
