I'm not a big burger person, so I was quite surprised by just how much I enjoyed the burger I had from Squeeze Burger. If you love cheese, this is the burger place for you. I had the Squeeze Burger. There's a large amount of cheese (called a cheese shirt); the diameter of the cheese far exceeds the size of the other burger ingredients. I had it to go, so the cheese was likely a bit more soggy than it would have been if I'd eaten it immediately, but nonetheless, very, very good! The ranch was delicious as well. It was served with a small portion of fries. Service was welcoming as well. The wait was on the longer side, so if I was to order to go again, I would call in advance. read more

Portions are large as well so one order is more than enough for me. Would definitely get again! Service was great as well, as first time customers staff are attentive & kind. I got my food to go, but as I was waiting I saw them walk around and check on tables which was nice. My brother raved about this place to me since we're both fans of Philly cheese. He was visiting from TX and he liked the Philly so much, he had it twice. I was really looking forward to eating the sandwich but I came home, opened the box and its BURNT. The disappointment sucked since they close at 7 pm and I was already home by then. Unfortunate! but if they see this review and try to make it right then I'll reconsider. Maybe the cook was just careless or tired since I ordered an hour before closing but everyone deserves the same quality until the last minute of closing. Everytime I come here with my family, it's a 10/10. From the friendly service. The "hello, welcome in " always makes it so inviting. The food is just as amazing! The food here is cooked with love and you can taste it in every bite. The other day was our first time ordering to go (I'm always skeptical about calling in orders and picking up) and omg I will again! This is the worst experience I had with the food. The girl in the front was very nice though. I came here for my lunch to-go and my sandwich was just a mess. Excessive mustard and mayonnaise, the picture was after I had wiped all of it off. The place was empty so I don't see an excuse for the food to come out this sloppy. Caution if you have any food allergies!!! Unorganized, expensive, and ended up with wrong order and no drink. I ordered a pastrami and cheddar burger with fries, a lettuce wrap with onion rings and a Dr. Pepper. First I ordered a pastrami and fries. I asked for the next burger if the bun had dairy, she said it did. I then asked if the chicken tenders had dairy which she believed they did as well so she offered a burger lettuce wrapped which I appreciated. So I ordered the lettuce wrap burger and added on onions rings and a Dr Pepper to go with the second burger. Unfortunately I ended up with a lettuce wrapped pastrami and cheddar with onion rings. The lady offered to make my missing burger which didn't help because the entire order was wrong which she didn't offer to fix or refund. My spouse doesn't want a lettuce wrap and I can't eat it because it has cheese so it's a total waste. We've been here before for hamburgers, which are very good, but today my husband suggested we try them for breakfast instead of our usual places. Right away we noticed the friendliness of the server. My husband ordered the pancake combo - 2 large pancakes, eggs and the best sausage patty I think I've tried. Our 12 year old had the waffle combo - a large fluffy waffle, eggs and bacon. They also split a side order of biscuits and gravy. All excellent. I had the country fried steak. The steak was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Unlike any chicken fried steak, I've had before, it had a slight spice to it that was very good. The eggs were very good too and under all of it was a layer of small diced country potatoes. Yum. All topped with toast. I was also impressed with one of the cooks - possibly a manager or owner. He came to our table and told us that he accidentally brought my daughter's waffle to someone else's table, so it would be a few extra minutes as he made another one for her. She already had her bacon, eggs and biscuits and gravy so she had plenty to eat in the meantime, and it wasn't an issue, but, he said he removed her whole breakfast from the bill for the wait. I had no idea they served breakfast, but this will definitely become one of our regular spots. read more

I went to the original Squeeze Inn many years ago when it was the counter/bar small restaurant after their DDD debut. I was impressed and have been thinking of coming back for quite sometime. I know that location is no longer and it has now spread out to a few spots. This restaurant was roomy and large, the music was nice, and the staff was super nice. For a larger party (5 of us), the food came out quickly and was hot. Overall my review is on the burger itself. While they all did not disappoint on their infamous cheese skirt, the burger itself was overcooked and dry and lacking any sort of salt and pepper flavor. I think if the burger was a little more juicy it would have made this a solid 4 star but I walked out feeling that it was just dry burger- the meat quality at five guys or in and out would have been much better with the cheese skirt. I heard the Napa location closer to me is better so I'm willing to try again. I won't give up just yet! read more

Stopped by this restaurant to give it a try. What a unique experience with the "cheese skirt". OMG- what that adds to a typical cheeseburger is remarkable. I wasn't sure if they restaurant was open at first because the open sign wasn't lit. But when I saw people inside- I went in. The staff was friendly and didn't mind at all answering all my questions. They even gave me a bit of history of the place. Which is a nice touch. I ordered two squeeze burgers, onion rings, and sweet potato fries. All total $31.00. Gotta get used to the high prices of California and their "living wage". The food, even after taking it home to Elk Grove was fresh and warm and outstanding. Can't wait to eat one at the restaurant. You can go to Applebees, get the same quality burger that includes the fries in the meal instead of a completely separate side dish, for half the price this Squeeze charges for JUST the burger.
