Excellent cheeseburgers and love the nice lady that cooks the food, also the owner. I get it to go but it is always good. Fries are not worth the price. read more

Squeez Inn - Squeeze Burger - Burgers Near Me - Stockton, Missouri

We drive around summer weekends and find fun places to eat. We rolled in here and instantly loved the Squeez Inn. First, the decor is charming and whimsical. Hats drop from the ceiling when patrons enter and exit. There are gnomes and fun tchotchkes to look at everywhere. Service is snappy, helpful, and fantastic. The food is so good. We started with the hot dog rings aka the "Ozarks Calamari." These hot dog rings are deep fried and taste just like the county fair. Dip them in ketchup and mustard and try to not be transported back to a corn dog and fireworks right at the end of a great night at the fair. My husband ordered the Squeez Burger with cheese skirt. The burger is loaded with everything and that cheese skirt...the burnt edges mixed with the burger patty and fixins' man. It's good. I ordered the teriyaki steak sandwich. The bun itself was light and tasty. Nestled into the bun was lettuce and a sweet, teriyaki seasoned steak. This sandwich was delicious. We can wait to take another drive out. Definitely stop in and have yourself a fun experience with delicious food. read more

Tiny little place with the best burgers ever. If you love cheese you really need to try the squeeze burger with cheese. The cheese skirt is so decadent and delicious. We were even given directions on how to eat it properly. The fries were super good too, so soft and fluffy inside. We drove from the KC area just to eat here and it was worth it! read more

Ruth is amazing and her homemade fries are delicious!! The ambiance is awesome (watch the hats when the door opens), the friendly welcome is something that can't be beat and the food is awesome too - it's a complete package. read more

So excited to try this local landmark, made a road trip with the kids. The owner worked so hard just coming off surgery and the cheese skirt on the burger was excellent. It is worth trying and we'll worth the trip to Stockton. The restaurant has lots of nice touches like the floating hats and gnomes all over. My daughter liked the mushrooms in front. Tried the fries Ozark's calamari (deep fried hot dog cut up). My kids liked the giant pickles on a stick. read more

Love it. One of the best burgers around. The cheese skirt in it and all the fixins make it delicious. The buns are also made in house from what I'm told. The said to be museum is fun to look at too. read more

A must stop when in the area. Nostalgic as well as personable service with a great Squeeze Burger. Look it up, stop by enjoy and leave full. A must stop for Me in the future read more

Fresh food that's delicious. Would recommend to anyone in the area that has not been there before.

Love the food and Ruth is a true sweetheart! Service is always quick and food is always delicious! The "Said to be..." museum is cool as well and adds to the overall ambiance of the place. Also, watch the chef hats when the door opens. read more

Wonderful place even better people. Come hungry . Will definitely be back . Stockton is lucky to have you

To much hype on the place, gave it 2 try's won't get a third from me. Food was ok, but the person waiting was not helpful, didn't comeback to table. We had this happen twice. Had mold on my wife's bread bun pinched it off and didn't say a word because waitress never came back. Food needs to be one more notch up the ladder before sending it out to public. In today's world to many companies fighting for your dollar, food Network has raised the bar for better service and food quality! Please give it try I'm sure the locals like they only have a few places to eat but it's not drive to place for the wow factor ! read more

It's been a few years since I've had the pleasure of smashing down one of these delicious burgers. When I moved to Stockton I wanted to find somewhere that had a great burger aside from the usual fast food, specifically Sonic which was pretty much the only alternative choice in town. I highly recommend trying it out, worth the money and the burgers are killer read more

Ok first off.let me say I have been here in the past and all was good.but today was a different ballgame here.food was ok as usual..but the refreshments(Pepsi dispenser..tea)were horrible.there excuse was the delivery doesn't come til Tuesday.well I would guess that would fall on the poor managements ordering skills right?.so no Pepsi for me.so I try the sweet tea..just about puked..tasted like it had been sitting for three days.not a good thing.also I ordered mushrooms with my burger.what I got was rubber canned mushrooms.you would think they would use fresh.this isn't a good start on our relationship squeeze inn.i know you can do better!! read more

Great little find, and impressive woman running the place. If you're in the area, stop in and you'll be in for a (bit greasy spoon) treat!

Great food here! Wish the hours were better though. I used to live in Stockton and would have eaten here way more if the faculty was open past regular work hours. It was only open when I was at work and was closed on my only off day. Food though was phenomenal! It is definitely a must stop! read more

Ruth is amazing, the burgers are massive & massively delicious. Oh and the fresh cut fries are perfect

We were on a motorcycle trip from KCMO to Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and Stockton, MO was to be our stopping place for lunch. I checked Yelp and was intrigued by this place. Quirky, cute, and real America here! If it is a busy day, you may have to wait, but there is plenty to look at while you are waiting. We all opted for the Squeezburger. Love the the cheese that spills over and forms a nice crispy component to the dish. If you want fries, they are very good and a small order would be fine to share for two people. read more

First, it's important to note that Squeeze Inn takes cash or check only. No debit or credit cards are accepted. Also, check their hours of operation before coming out because it varies and they are closed on Sunday. I had the Squeezeburger, with fries and a Rootbeer to drink. The burger was big, juicy and had good flavor but the bun started to fall apart while eating the burger. Not bad if you eat fast (like me) but others at my table really struggled with it. Overall nice local place with an interesting decor and friendly service. read more

We love sqeeze inn. We summer at the lake just two miles from this wonderful place. Love the owner, Ruth. Love the squeeze burger!!!

This is a great little place to get a Squeezburger with cheese or a steak taco! Not for the faint of heart but if you like a good burger you can't do much better in this small town stop in and say hi and grab a burger read more

My favorite place with the sweetest most beautiful lady running this place. Best burger you will ever have.

The Squeez Inn is a Stockton landmark. Great food, great prices. The owner is really sweet and truly cares for her customers. Love the hats thing when you open the door. It's such a cute restaurant! I love eating there, they also have carry out!!! read more

Missed a turn and landed here.. Other Yelpers gave it five stars, so here we go..... Did not disappoint, table for four and we all did the Squeezeburger. It's exterior says "well crafted with local flair" first bite said "different and fantastic", last bite said "I'd do another if I wasn't stuffed". The venue is smallish, ripe with local charm and Hollywood lore, just take it all in and enjoy the ride, this spots got what you need. read more

If you are looking for a good old fashioned burger, this is the place to go! There Squeeze Burgers are loaded with so much gooey, melted cheese that it runs onto the grill and gives the burger what they call a "cheese skirt". This place isn't for those who are on a diet or are looking for a whole wheat bun. This is a decadent burger with all the fixings and your arteries might start to harden as you watch them cook it up. One word, "Delicious"! The only complaints I might have are they aren't opened every day so you need to check their hours before going and they don't take credit cards. The only other complaint you might hear is that it's not "healthy food" but if you're eating a burger did you REALLY want if to be healthy or would you rather it just taste REALLY GOOD? read more

Squeeze Burger is huge and delicious... Kind of a must if you stop in. However don't miss out on the turkey sandwich, BLT or the tacos... And the fries are the perfect item to top off the meal. They do close at 7 so be sure to make it before dinner... And bring cash, no plastic accepted. The staff are friendly and the place is clean. Ruthie will make you feel right at home. read more

Its a great burger place besides sonic got a variety of stuff to eat like cat fish shrimp and chili plus great ice cream shakes are great too served all year around unlike sonic who only does it during summer read more

This little hole in the wall burger joint is a must try! The squeeze is the bomb! Loved the steak taco as well. Huge portions. Miss Ruth was extremely friendly and warned us about ordering too much. She even said if she was wrong she could make more and she was correct we had more than enough! She does take plastic for a small fee. read more
