If you are looking for some delicious food while traveling down Route 13 in Osceola, Missouri, look no further. I ordered the Barnyard Burger. It's a hamburger with chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickle, and whatever else you can find in the barnyard. Wow! It was amazing! Would I come back here again? You bet! Highly recommended!

Mannnnn... You just can't beat the food here... It's order at the counter and they bring it to your table. It's all comfort food like you'd expect it to be by the name. Breakfast, lunch, dinner... It's all done right here. Get a Chiefburger and you can thank me later! Browse the Amish made goods and then head to the cheese market across the street.

    Great lunch spot!

Home-cooked basics done right, at very fair prices. My BLT w extra bacon was fantastic! My wife loved her 'Little Chief Burger!' Fries and Tots were both crispy perfection! Then we had a great time exploring tge store, and bought fun touristy foods to give as gifts!

This was a fun place to stop at, I could only pick one so this was it. While we waited for our food, we bought some salt water taffy and other snacks. They had a lot of neat handmade wood stuff like chairs and charcuterie boards. Their boards were $$$ but very pretty. We split a burger and fries. The fries were good, burger was all right. I would stop for a rocking chair purchase next time!

Hash browns, crisped to perfection. Eggs and bacon.

Very well prepared, tasty home cooked food. Daily special and limited menu, but always find a good option to satisfy a hunger.

The food is good so is the service. It doesn't really take long either. It's one of the best places to eat near Osceola.

The shop is fairly small but pleasant and they have a wide variety of products so it's worth planning a trip out there. I decided to try the beef bacon and was not disappointed, it's delicious! A great pork option. They have a great selection of flours for different baking applications, along with a good variety of nuts and candies to add. they have delicious fresh bread, frozen mixed veggies for stew or steaming, canning supplies, and the deli will make sandwiches and slice cheeses and meats. The meat seems a little pricey but you know you're getting quality meat so it's worth the peace of mind. They also fresh honey in large quantities, fresh eggs, fresh butter and fresh vegetables. Long ago I use to visit this farmers market weekly as I was in the area weekly for work. I was disappointed today to see only three vendors (unlike the past they had lots of vendors), but hey fresh tomatoes and fresh bread to go with dinner, how could I go wrong. In the past I purchased items from the Knaus ladies every time I went to the market. My last trip to this market was two years ago. Unfortunately two weeks in a row I received stale bread. I purchased bread the second week believing the stale bread was an error in stock rotation because I had always had good bakery items from the Knaus ladies. Fast forward...dinner's ready, my husband took a bite of the bread and said, "I see they are still peddling stale bread". One bite later and I had to agree - STALE. Needless to say I was very disappointed. Hopefully others are having better luck with their bread purchase from this vendor.
