Stopped in for a breakfast sandwich to go. Ham egg and cheese on a bun, it was so good, just simple, clean food and not at all greasy or heavy. The cashier was very friendly and the service was quick. If I lived here, I would be a regular. Not to mention, that coconut cream pie in the cooler looked heavenly! I was so tempted, but I know I would have eaten half of it in the car. Can you imagine driving with one hand and eating pie with the other? I can, and it's not a pretty sight. But maybe on my trip back through town! By the way, I originally stopped in a "deli" just down the street. This was a nice lunch! The Full Moon was delicious - the vegetables and ciabatta bread complemented each other well. It came with a side pickle and kettle-cooked chips (which can't go wrong). Nice little coffee shop and early restaurant in Downtown Warsaw. We came for breakfast, eggs cooked right, bacon, toasted English muffin (no butter?), loaded hash browns casserole, ham & cheese omelet with a small side (it was big!) of biscuit and gravy. My family and decided to drive all the way from Cole camp and get a coffee on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30pm and our coffee tasted great. my only problem was that the servers had an absolute fit when we wanted to sit and drink our coffee in the restaurant when it was 44 degrees outside. There were at least 6 open tables that were not in use. They gave us such dirty looks the whole time and made my mother feel so uncomfortable we ended up just getting up and leaving. very disappointed and probably will not be going back. read more

We stopped here after finding ourselves in Warsaw after a trip to Truman Lake. I checked local reviews and we ended up choosing Cosmic Coffee because of the ratings. We've now gone twice and my brother who lives in the area makes it that way once in awhile because we enjoy it so much! The food was spectacular--out of this world you might say. The first time I went I had a potato salad that was to die for. The sandwiches are so great and the coffee is some of the best in Missouri! While making frequent trips between Sedalia and Springfield, I wasted a lot of time ignoring this place due to its rather poor review average. As soon as I worked up the courage to try it, I quickly realized what a monumental mistake I'd been making. Not only is the coffee here terrific, it's also ridiculously inexpensive and served with a speed sure to satisfy the cravings of even the most caffeine-addicted patron. I was also pleased to note the large selection of protein shakes, which are made with clean whey produced by grassfed cows - a rarity even in Springfield, let alone in the sleepy hamlet of Warsaw. And although the kitschy country theme of the decor isn't really my cup of tea, overall the cafe strikes me as being clean and well-kept by a staff who clearly take pride in their work. So, while I hesitate to say this story has a moral, I will strongly recommend that you ignore the rating average on this particular establishment and give it a try. In a land where coffee isn't strong enough to defend itself, this place is a beacon through the fog of the early morning uncaffeinated. The latte is tasty, and the soy chai is equally as good. We got here too soon, but there'll be food served here in a couple of weeks, so if we're back in the area, this'll definitely be a stop for us. Portions weren't too small or too big, prices are very reasonable. I would come back, but there are other restaurants down the street that I would rather check out. This is great food. I had the Zodiac which was full of flavor, but nothing over powered each other it all work together. My kids had the hot ham and cheese and grilled cheese and ate every bit, which is not normal for my daughter. The chips are kettle chips but not too hard like you find other places. I've only had the privilege of eating here once, but it was a good experience. The food was good, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the owner is very friendly and visible in the community. If it weren't for my son, who doesn't really do well in smaller spaces like Cosmic Coffee, I would come here much more often. Highly recommended.
