Cute little bar and grill! Very clean, nice staff. Burgers were great. Had the fried jalapeno and onion straws for appetizers. The jalapenos weren't spicy at all, and all of it needed salt, but it was otherwise delicious. The batter was good and crispy. Add a bit of salt, and it'd be perfect! My husband had the breakfast burger and I had the BBQ bacon burger. Both were perfectly cooked...nice and charred on the outside and juicy on the inside. Both came with fries, which they offer in a few seasoning options. I opted for the garlic parmesan fries. When they came out, I was disappointed to see that they were shoestring style fries, since shoestrings are typically a bit too crispy/overcooked for my liking, but I must say, these were the best shoestring fries I've ever had. The garlic parmesan seasoning put it right over the top. They were also the perfect crispy outside, tender inside that I love in a French fry. Again, shoestrings usually aren't tender inside, but these were. This is a great little restaurant just a short distance from the lake house we stayed at. If/when we return to Warsaw, we will be back! read more

One of Warsaw's hidden jems. Yes it's not a 5 star OMG Gordon Ramsey restaurant, however it has great atmosphere, great staff, good food.

Drinks are horrible. Under poured, over priced. Food is decent but I've had a few bad experiences with staff. Have not been back in 6 months which is sad. Considering that I live 2 minutes away. read more

We had a peach Margarita, which was yummy, and plenty stout. My friend had a mini Corona Margarita, which I think was also yummy. L. had the Cajun Catfish dinner, with fries; big serving! At least one, if not two more meals. I had a Black & Bleu burger, MR, with a salad; took 1/2 the burger home. Our waitress was fantastic and anticipated our needs aptly. Back open under new ownership. Tried it for first time today. Pass Fries were soggy on both wife's & my meal. Wife's hamburger was rare. My catfish was what appeared to be Vietimeese Catfish. It's not every day that you look over at your significant other and say "Hey, let's head on over to the lake of the Ozarks". But this conversation certainly took place with my lady, and before we knew it, we were leaving eastern Kansas for a brand new adventure. After hours of driving through then highways and back roads of Missouri, we finally got to the city of Warsaw. With a population slightly under three thousands folks, Warsaw has become a cute travel destination for anyone wanting to visit the Ozarks. We were excited to discover the hefty but Everson delicious Roadhouse Bar, Grill and Marina. This is exactly the type of joint that you would expect from the movies. The vibes of the "R-Bar", as locals call it, are very appeasing and homestyled! I didn't feel like I just flew a thousand miles from Charlotte to visit a special lady and try some BBQ. I felt like I was dining in my hometown! I'm very glad I chose the ribs to dine on. Also, the R-Bar features two special types of beer from a local Ozarks brewery. Although, I can't recall the name! The burger was perfect. I preferred the sauce on the side since it was sweet but after tasting it and finding that it was also spicy I poured it over the sandwich. As good as the burger was the garlic fries with parmesan were the best. The cheese serves as a mild salt with extra flavor. They were crisp and not at all greasy. Don't miss out on these. The service was great and even though it was the middle of the afternoon on a week day the server showed that she could handle customers very well. No doubt a crowded evening would be as enjoyable. If I had a criticism it would be the slight smell of smoke coming in from the smoking section. Definitely worth another visit. read more

We grabbed takeout from r-bar after hiking at Harry S Truman state park. We called in our order, which was super easy and ran in to pick it up. About half the people were wearing masks, the other half weren't. Everyone was very friendly. I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap with Cajun fries and my husband got the breakfast burger with garlic Parmesan fries. Everything was ok. The fries had good flavor, but were very soft. We always order takeout (thanks to COVID) we got used to it and that's what we like now. Anyway you obviously have to go in to get it and the restaurant side looks very warm and welcoming. The bar side has plenty of large TV's for game day or whatever might be on and plenty of room to enjoy a cocktail or two. The people that work there are always so nice and helpful. The burgers were super good! Really friendly place, I wish we could sit and eat, cause their menu looked awesome. Fish tacos made right with corn tortillas! But we are avoiding sit down restaurant meals for COVID. Some of the staff wore masks, no patrons, but they're eating. This county has no mask mandate and everyone is like this everywhere you go, so I just expect it. I wish we had intelligent legislation, but that's another story. What should be an absolute dive is actually a great restaurant overlooking the main channel of the Lake of the Ozarks. Several visits here have proven to provide a great lunch with stellar service. Start your lunch with a bacon Bloody Mary, an oversized wealth of rejuvenation after a long night of bonfire at the Lake. Any of their burgers are great especially the What's Shakin' Bacon Burger. Make a point to visit the Roadhouse when you're in the area. It's well worth the trip to grab some drinks and great food. read more

Growing up in Missouri I always wished I could stop and go in there. Finally stopped and had a delicious shaken bacon burger with onion rings on it and wonderful hand cut Parmesan garlic french fries. Our waitress was friendly and helpful and helped us get a really nice table by to see any windows. I would definitely stop by again traveling across the state. read more

Roadhouse is a great spot to have a drink, food, or listen to music on the lake near Warsaw. If you even are a little bit of a fan of bloody marys, try them here. Bacon and bloodys are my favorite combo and they do it right. I had a California club type sandwich and my dad got the steak and potato. All of the food we had was great. The staff is fantastic. We came by boat and my dad fell going down the stairs on the side of the building and hurt himself pretty bad. We didn't see the sign to call for a ride. I agree with some of the other reviewers when they mention the smoke being an issue, but until Warsaw does away with allow this, it's in most restaurants unfortunately. It's a long way by water for us, but we've already been twice and it definitely won't be the last. read more

Great food and staff. They do allow smoking and as a non-smoker makes it impossible to sit in the smoking section which has a really nice big dining room that juts out closer to the river. The non-smoking section is nice and clean and still has good views of the river. read more

Oh man. We used Yelp to find the best place to eat in Warsaw. Yelp and its reviewers were spot on! The waitress Melissa M was phenomenal, knowledgeable and so fun. The mini meatloaf appetizer had great flavor. I had the 3-alarm burger with garlic fries, burger was excellent, fries were better than the garlic fries that make AT&T Park in San Francisco famous. My cousin had the Cajun catfish sandwich, she says it was the perfect amount of seasoning. My daughter had the what's shakin bacon burger, she's a teenager so of course her review was "good" but I'll tell you she finished it in record time lol. Whenever we're anywhere near here we will stop every time, no question. We definitely need to try more of the menu, dinner items and a bacon bloody mary next time. Have been there twice before today, and both times the food and service were very good. Today being Mothers Day, our family which consists of 12 people, 7 adults and 5 children decided to go to R- Bar for dinner. We were assigned 2 waitress', one for each half of the table. One side was done with salads before the other side received theirs. severalof Us ordered 12 oz. prime rib. Which in some cases was about 6 oz. of fat. The potatoes and meat were cold, and not cooked to order. In their defense, they did replace 3 of the meals, and took 20% off the bill, but it still made the experience very unenjoyable with us all eating at difference times. Very unorganized. read more
