When I dropped my Iphone on concrete, it took a big fall and being the first time I've cracked a screen, I was scared for my Iphone's future. The crack spider-webbed down my whole screen rather horribly. At first, I went to the Apple store. I showed them my iphone and the first guy directed me to another higher up guy. Clearly not in the mood to be bothered, he brusquely told me that I needed an appointment. He left me quickly after that not asking anything else of me. This is not the first time I've been brushed off by Apple "geniuses." But that's for another review... I took a gander on the internet to find someone, anyone who could help me (with an already expired warranty on my phone). iCracked was the first site I found with everything I wanted and needed to fix my screen. I gave them my information and they texted me right away, setting up my appointment with no hassle at all and sending out a guy for me the next day. Carl came by my house promptly and he fixed my screen no problem in less than 30 minutes. While working, he was very amicable, multi-tasking like a champ. He even offered me advice on the next, more durable phone case I should get (to prevent future mishaps). All in all, I'm so happy I picked iCracked to help me with my phone and I'm so pleased with their efficient service I received. $150 might seem like a lot to fix a phone screen, but to me it was money well spent. Didn't work out for me. I had Mark come out and replace the cracked glass on my iPhone and it looked good on initial inspection. As a day or so went by I could feel that the Glass was a bit higher then the metal bevil around the phone. A couple days later I was putting the case one the phone after cleaninging it and when I pressed on one of the corners to get it to seat in the protective case the screen cracked. I called Mark with iCracked, i sent pictures showing what I described and he said that it wasn't covered under the warrantee, but of course he'd be happy to replace the glass again. I went back a forth with him about it and he would not cover his work. I wouldn't give my money to this outfit a second time. Disappointed. I should have gone to the Apple store or Best Buy where it would have been done right the first time or they'd at least stand behind their work. Thank you Carl and iCracked. You came to my rescue at a very stressful time. I sat on my iPad while in the Emergency Room At St. Joe's. My husband was very ill so I needed it to gain access to all our medical info. My first thought was to take the iPad to the Apple Store in the mall but my experiences with those young geniuses have not been too positive. So I decided to contact iCracked, because they would pick up and deliver. Carl called within a day or so, picked the iPad up at the hospital; returned it to me at the hospital the next day. Geoff just left my apartment at 10:43 pm. He was very quick to respond when I dropped my Iphone and shattered the screen. I was so upset at myself and so angry with the possibility of looking into avenues to fix it. When I looked at AT&T, they quoted me the price of a whole new phone. I was horrified. Literally, he came to my house within 15 minutes and worked with me to fix my baby. Yes, my baby! I feel so much better now. I will be contacting him in the future for anything cellphone related. That dreaded feeling when you drop your iPhone, face down on the pavement, and just know when you pick it up that it will be cracked, or shattered or somewhere in between. Mine was somewhere in between and I was still 2 years from a phone upgrade. A friend suggested iCracked as she had heard good things about them. I left a message for two techs in the area, and Kris in Silverdale called me back very quickly and was very pleasant and informative. Kris kept me up to date via texting as to when he ordered the new part and when it would be available. Awesome company. Sooo easy! I broke my brand new iPad screen that I use constantly for work. Frantic, I did a google search and found this company called iCracked and downloaded the iCracked app and requested a "technician" and within minutes was contacted by Carl. He needed to order the correct screen and Christmas was a couple days away. He kept me informed when was going to be a few minutes late to our agreed meet up. In person he was courteous and professional. He inspected my iPad and gave me the estimated total. It was a bit odd meeting at a Starbucks, but it was convenient and I felt safe. My iPad was ready that evening. He had replaced the screen and fixed my home button. He sadly confirmed the previous fix I had done by another local shop was worse than originally thought. My iPad was dropped and cracked late spring 2014. We took it to a repair kiosk at Southcenter to get fixed. Four tries over a two month period and it still wasn't right. The screen never set flat and on the fourth try they crimped the frame so bad that the volume button was ruined. I just gave up out of frustration. Christmas evening, I dropped it again! Andrew is a great technician. He called to schedule a time to pickup the cracked iPad 4 from my office. The next day he arrived right on time. He explained the repair process to me and left with the damaged iPad. Two days later I received a phone call from Andrew to let me know that the repair has been completed and to schedule a time for him to return the iPad. He arrived later that day, right on time.
