    What they advertised.
    David T.

Nothing is worse than a place that blatently falsly advertises their food. This was hands down one, the worst examples of a gyro I have ever attempted to choke down, and I mean choke. Meat was so dry as to make it inedible I had to take a drink after every one of the 3 bites I managed to force into myself. I had been going to this place for over 20 years but under new owners it just is no longer a place I will ever go. At least pretend to care about the food you serve and dont advertise someone else's product as your own, very dishonest.

    Great beer cooler inside!

Always great place to grab a sandwich, BLT my fav, or soup. Friendly family run. Hoping new ownership follows the same footsteps.

Great beer, wonderful sharp cheddar aged over a year on site! Old-fashioned general store vibe.

My wife and I bought a whole small cheesecake and brought it back to our B&B, the Landmark Inn. We sat together, ate it slowly, laughed, kissed, and made love. That simple cheesecake became the centerpiece of one of the most beautiful, intimate weekends we've ever had. It wasn't just dessert - it was magic. It reminded me how joyful life can be, how love feels, and how small, perfectly made things can create lasting memories. Thank you, Don, for your craft, your dedication, and for making something that became so much more than just cheesecake for us. My wife and I have been through some really tough times the past few years, and when I tell you that we reconnected over this cheesecake, I mean it. It's not just good, it was a big part of a moment in time that helped heal a part of us that was so very broken. What an amazing trip. We WILL be back. Thank you from the very bottom of my heart. P.S. to the girl that came in disgruntled when she found there was only plain cheesecake left, I hope you someday find happiness too. Maybe you should give the cheesecake a try. It worked for us. Doesn't my wife look happy with her PLAIN cheesecake?

Local cheeses with samples to taste, jellies and jams, sauces and syrup, and plenty of deserts including CHEESECAKE! We used to have a restaurant in finger lakes area an one of our feature menu items was our Cheesecake, so I am a little bias when it comes to good cheesecake. Don was insistent that we try his but we were reluctant. We did purchase a bunch of other items and when we were checking out, Don put a piece of cheesecake in our bag. Soo glad he did! It was delicious. The challenge is accepted, the next time I'm in the area, I'll be bringing a piece of my cheesecake for him to try! Thanks Don! Glenn & Christine

Everything is well priced, nothing excessively priced. I was very excited to find this store. They have bulk dry ingredients, one of them being organic barley which I cannot buy at the corporate grocery in my town. They do have an extensive supplement section. Healthier choices for snack foods, some toiletries, and an incredibly large section of chocolates at the register. The owners are super friendly and greet everybody as they enter. Since my first shopping experience, I've been back several times even though it is about a 30 minute drive for me one way. I highly recommend this small business, especially if you were looking for organic and all natural foods.

The family who runs the store is so nice; just the shopping experience and friendly small talk make Cooperstown Natural Foods worth visiting. Beyond being friendly, they were willing to stock my favorite soymilk when I asked about it -- something other small stores have been hesitant to do. The store has everything from local salad greens to imported chocolates. The prices are the same as the big-box store down the street, making supporting this local business a no-brainer.

Talbott & Arding was chosen as our first stop on our girls' getaway journey. Tucked in the Hudson Valley, just an hour from the Berkshires, it was a sweetly energetic beginning to our day. We each chose a sandwich from the counter. My smoked salmon on focaccia was a delight. The bread, airy and light, beautifully happy yeast just bounding with lift, defying the constraints of olive oil which left my fingers gloriously glistening. I haven't had a focaccia as happy as that in a minute. Super thin radish, bright pickled shallot and fresh watercress all gave a nice vibrant touch. Ben's cream cheese couldn't possibly be creamier. And the delicate, silky, fresh, luxurious salmon... What a dream. So balanced. I filled my arms with goods- iberico salami, Aleppo chili oil, Blackstrap coffee beans, local chocolates, and an adorable Talbott & Arding puzzle. I'm sure I could have easily convinced myself to buy just about everything I laid my eyes upon. The cheese counter was an absolute work of art. It's clear that Talbott & Arding is a willing servant to the gifts of the surrounding earth and people. The homage it pays is palpable. Our stop at Talbott & Arding set the tone for an intentional, peaceful, vibrant, cozy, delicious, connected trip. I'll be back immediately.

(Certainly a lucky neighborhood) It looks small from the street but once you walk in, it opens up to a sizable store. We were greeted by a friendly staff member, he took the time to describe their cheese selection and the other things going on in the shop. He then pivoted to giving us tons of help selecting the right cheese. We sampled a couple of things and then he dialed in three choices for us to buy. (With an assist from another customer that insisted that we would love the Delice de Bourgogne) Prices were reasonable enough for the quality. We added some gourmet crackers that were neutral enough to not overpower the cheese. The next day, we made the three cheeses the focus of our lunch. The Delice de Bourgogne was the star of the show, a creamy, earthy, and savory masterpiece. The two year aged Gouda and creamy blue cheese were delightful as well!
