This is such a great place to visit. You will find your favorite donut here. Not only are the employees so nice, the customers are awesome. I went in there one day to purchase donuts for a family get-together and got 2 boxes / 2 dozen donuts. When I went to pay for it, the employee said you owe nothing. One of the customers just paid them. That was so sweet! I told them wow thank you, this is for a young couple starting out. What a blessing!!! Stopped by Spudnuts for the first time in soooo long! I used the drive-thru (huge bonus as I was in a rush and did not feel like getting out of the car), the service was super friendly and fast. Can't speak on inside ambiance, outside could use a power wash but did not deter me! I grabbed a dozen -- and everything was delicious! The donuts are light, fluffy, and not overly sweet. I'm not sure why these donuts aren't better rated (not that 4.3 is bad). My Dad is always talking about the Spudnuts donuts he grew up with in Washington. He would say the potato flour they used made them so light & fluffy. This spot is pretty unassuming, so I didn't know what to expect. I went inside to better see what they had - a variety of cake donuts, classic glazed and bars and a few cronuts too. I got a couple different types. And....yes! Those are crazy soft, light & fluffy! Donuts are always fresh, soft, and delicious. I have yet to come across a donut that I haven't liked! Whenever I go, it's usually early in the morning and every time I have gone, I have been met with kindness and great customer service. Especially on the weekends (which is when I noticed they're a little more busy!). They even have a convenient little drive-thru! Prices are reasonable. The lattes are also delicious! I love that there is a drive thru option. It was my first time to this donut shop and I wanted to go in to see my options, but next time I will take advantage of that drive thru! I was greeted by the nice lady and she was patient as I picked out the donuts for my mixed dozen. I wish the menu had a list of the donuts and pastries they offered though. I could imagine this would be difficult if ordering in the drive thru. For a dozen of donuts it was a bout $15, not bad. The donuts were incredibly soft and pillowy. I love Spudnuts! This is my go-to coffee place in town because it's one of the only coffee places with a drive through that isn't Starbucks. And it's family-owned! The food is always delicious and so are the drinks. My usual is an iced white mocha, but their Vietnamese iced coffee is really good too. If I'm hungry for breakfast, I'll get a croissant sausage, bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. Their donuts are also very tasty; if you want a cronut, you have to get there early or else they'll sell out! Highly recommend Spudnuts, especially if you're in a bit of a rush and don't have time to leave your car. It takes a minute for your food and drink to get prepared, but that's because there are only a couple of them working at a time and they're making most things to order. Family donut shop here in Sacramento with all of the standard fare. Feels like a local shop - happy to support them. Prices are a tiny bit higher than would be expected for regular donuts, but not outrageous. Flavors and taste are solid, and everything tasted fresh. Simple coffee options are available although didn't try any myself. French crullers and apple fritters were excellent! Plenty of adjacent lot parking. Nice to grab a donut while you're waiting for your car to be repaired. Fast service. Clean tables if you want to park yourself inside and get some work done as well. read more

Apple fritter review #4: Before I begin I want to say that Spudnuts and I go way back, there was one across the street from my uni back in the 90's and I'm sure I went there way too often. Spudnut donuts are unique in the best way. I have only been to this location a handful of times though, and I don't know if I'd ever had the apple fritter before. Glaze: Adequate, has a strong vanilla(?) flavor. 3 stars. Outside: Could be crunchier. 3 stars. Inside: Soft moist and fluffy! 5 stars. The doughnuts here are incredible. Their fresh and filling and the price is right. I used to live in Land Park and use to buy my doughnuts at Marie's. These doughnuts are just as good and now I don't have to travel to Marie's. Service is excellent. They have a drive thru. Makes if easy for me because I usually bring my poochy with me. read more

Soft, fluffy, deliciousness. While getting my car serviced I fell hungry and noticed this shop across the street in walking distance. The outside is questionable so I did a quick yelp which led me to such positive reviews I just had to see what it was about. The shop is small, not much to see and the customer service was quick and polite. We bought a donut and cinnamon roll. Both exceeded my expectations. Spudnuts donuts... I wanted a couple of donuts on my way to work and saw this place. Decided I wanted one glazed donut and one glazed buttermilk bar. I must say that the buttermilk bar tasted a little "greasy" and it just wasn't the best... Trust I've had better. I was greeted right away by the nice lady and she wasted no time helping. But it's a donut shop... It was clean, and I believe it has a drive through window. That's super convenient. If I were to go back, it would definitely be for just a glazed donut. read more

For the donuts The have the old fashioned, glazed, and even those big paw or glove like ones. And with the croissant The can make a breakfast one with eggs cheese and choice of bacon or sausage. They have coffee, water and drinks of choices. But the one that stood out for us was the funky monkey. A blended drink of ice cream, coffee and mocha drizzle with Chunks of banana. This is a very small family owned and operated donut shop in the arden-arcade area. They have come in clutch a time or two when we have needed a cinnamon roll fix. The do offer walk in and drive through for donuts which is awesome and they open early. I would say the downfall is they do not really have a place to sit if you wanted to enjoy your treats indoors; the inside is rather crowded and dark. I go here every few weeks and every time I go the service is great, fast, the inside is clean always, and the donuts are fresh. Best donuts in sac! Their breakfast options are delicious as well, and I get them often when I go. Cronuts are the best I've tried out of anywhere else, but everything else is great too.
