The spot has been on Lincoln Road for so long, as a local I was really glad to visit again after so much time and have a really good experience. As a local you get tired of being surrounded by tourists all the time but I was really happy that the service was really warm friendly and easy-going. The pizza was delicious and the wine was a reasonable price. I'm glad this place is still on Lincoln Road and not a tourist trap. My family and I have been coming to Spris for a good long time however after moving to a different neighborhood and my parents moving out of the city we haven't been in quite some time. They came back to visit so we came to the south beach location. We were hoping to have the chicken paillard however it wasn't on the menu anymore but when we mentioned this to our waitress, Carla, she said they would be happy to make it for us and it was actually still in their order system! We frequent SPRIS on Lincoln Road often. The location is convenient, we are always greeted with a warm welcome, the food is consistent with a nice presentation. There is plenty of outdoor seating for your dining comfort. Our server Carlos is always attentive and goes out of his way to make sure we have a pleasant dining experience. While this is not the best pizza in Miami, the consensus of Chowhound Florida reveals that this is by far the best pizza place on Lincoln Road! And understandably so - this is good Italian-style thin-crust pizza right in a touristy area at affordable prices (especially between 5:30 PM and 7 PM). On top of that, this location is open late (closes at 1 AM daily and 2 AM on Friday/Saturday) - and of the pizza places that are open late, this one is definitely a contender for being the best in all of Miami. read more

I had been going to SPRIS for about 11 years. This restaurant was my spot to eat at Lincoln Rd every time I was walking on the boulevard with my family and every time I had people visiting the city. SPRIS was my spot to eat something delicious each time I was touring Miami Beach. Last night, I had my family visiting the city, we decided to walk on the boulevard and I recommended going to Spris. This visit was enough to said that I will stopped to eat there. They changed the food quality, the service and the cleanliness. They changed a lot for the bad. First, I called one hour before to reserve a table for 11 people at 8:30-8:45pm. We arrive on time, I saw the table prepared...but the hostess gave my table to another party. Then, we waited to have another table get ready and had to wait longer. Second, they accommodated our table back to back with the other party, it was impossible for the waitress to serve well both tables. Third, we need to ask for the bread and oil...otherwise it never came. Fourth, the food was TERRIBLE. Their pizza was for me the best in Miami until yesterday, I ate a regular pizza with 50% less ingredients than before and the flavor nothing to say about it. Same with the salads. Nothing relevant, overpriced taking into account the presentation and quality of ingredients. Fifth, Obviously we were eating outdoors, there is a ceiling fan that it's broken. All the time we were sweating. Probably, the restaurant does not have enough budget to buy a $200 fan and pay a handyman $100 to install it. Sixth, regularly I ordered dessert and other drinks. To be honest, we were eating as fast that we could to finish the nightmare to having dinner there. Seventh, the star that im giving is because out waiter tried to do the best she could. This star is for her, not for the restaurant. The restaurant overall deserve no stars. Please, Stay away from this place or go on your own risk. read more

After having a horrible experience at many other restaurants and coffeeshops along Lincoln Road, I was SO happy to finally find one that has good food and excellent customer service. My friend and I were about to order food to-go since we were in a rush, but everything about Spris looked so inviting. We were seated immediately at one of the outdoor tables, and I'm glad there was availability even though they were so busy. I started with a glass of their sangria, which was REALLY good! For my entree, I had a Caprese Salad ($9.50) which has Buffalo Mozzarella, Tomatoes, Oregano, and Basil. I was worried that this salad would not be filling enough because it's just cheese and tomatoes, but I loved it! Presentation was nice, and I walked away satisfied. There was never a moment when my friend and I had to wait long for anything. We had bread and olive oil while waiting for our food, too. If you are cruising along Lincoln Road for a bite to eat between your shopping and beach adventures, I would highly recommend Spris! read more

For me to leave ONE STAR you have to do something TRULY SPECIAL. Here are all the thIngs subpar about the experience: Wait staff, accuracy of order, cleanliness of bathroom, and quality of food. We had a table of twelve, sat outside, and it took over twenty minutes for the waitress to acknowledge our existence with the restaurant around 50-60% capacity. The drinks we ordered came incorrect, incomplete, with a couple of our patrons waiting an additional 20 minutes for the correct drinks. When the food finally arrives, it also was delivered incomplete, missing salads and a pizza from the kitchen. One of the pizzas delivered (the truffle one) was swimming in oil. Salads arrived at the time we requested the check. I took my son to the restroom, the toilet tank was broken, water was all over the floor, and feces running over the toilet lid. I told the wait staff of the issue, to which they said "Yeah. We know." From beginning to end, an awful experience. As locals, we won't be frequenting this venue again. read more

Now, of course, I didn't want to order any pizza so I remembered that a friend of mine has exposed me to this one pizza with sausage and gorgonzola many moons ago and I thought it would be the perfect pizza to satisfy my craving and also show off what Miami pizza can offer. We had the pizza delivered so I cannot comment about service but I also ordered a Caeser salad and found that they had tossed the salad with the dressing. It peeved me because the dressing made it soggy and not such an appealing salad. They have been open many years and should know better to put dressing on the side on delivery orders. The pizza was literally everything I wanted, needed and remembered. It was salty, rich and laden with gorgonzola. The sausage was tender and obviously homemade. It was amazing. I have lived on the beach for almost 30 years, and I've been coming to this lovely restaurant for the last 20 years at least. The food is always outstanding, the price is very reasonable, and the staff is so friendly that after time and time of coming, they have become my friends. Milena, Julieta & Carla. And because they are so close to my heart, it makes me sad the management is still forcing them to use masks when they serve at open-air, and the other two restaurants they have in different locations in Miami have their staff without covers. I came here as part of a CMYE, but it was an excellent opportunity to try much more of the menu than if I had come on my own. Service was excellent. There was a parade of appetizer sandwiches. All of them were excellent! I loved the prosciutto with melted mozzarella best. If pizza wasn't even on the menu I would still be satisfied with a menu consisting of these sandwiches. Eventually the pizza and salads were ready and we took our time getting in the long line. That was fine for me as it gave me more time to keep drinking Peronis. Normally, I am not a salad fan, but they had two excellent ones. The Thai chicken salad was fantastic! There was a wonderful mix of spice, chicken, wontons and cabbage. Spris provided four delicious pizzas for us to enjoy. Of course you can never go wrong with a Margherita and they provided an excellent one. What can I say? Very disappointed. We were going to try Visa 01 but it was packed so we decided on Spris since we were already in the area. I saw a calzone being served at a nearby table so i decided to order one. Just because it looks good, doesn't mean it is. First of all, the bottom was soggy. There was so much water on the bottom of the plate. Who likes wet soggy bread? Once I cut it up, there was an overwhelming amount of bland ricotta. Not only was it very flavorless, but it only had 4-5 slices of salami, which was all bunched up towards the center. My husband's pizza was also soggy & very flimsy. I don't know about you, but I really don't like wet bread. Ha! We also had bruschetta's, which were okay but also lacking flavor. We ordered waters & I don't want to be one to complain about water but...how horrible!! You know the water from Orlando? How it has a different taste & smell? Yeah, well, this water was 100% worse! So not only was the food terrible, they decided to sit a smoking party right next to us. Any other day, I would have ignored that, but if I'm with my kids what makes you think I want the smoke in their faces? Very thoughtless on their part. After 2 years living in South Beach, I was always avoiding Lincoln Rd restaurants because I was thinking they are overrated tourist trap. One day my friend visited me and we went to Spris since it is one block away from my apartment. I can say that pizza is fresh, thin and crispy dough, with great fillings. Stopped by here while visiting Lincoln road due to the good reviews . Im between 3-4 starts but because I can't do half, I went down to 3. The pizza was average. Thin crust with pretty generous toppings. I ordered one with ham and mushrooms. They're about 14", size of a large dinner plate. It's a little pricey but when in Miami that's to be expected. The also serve bread with olive oil and balsamic as an appetizer. The service was a bit slow. It took close to 10 minutes just to be given menus and to order water. After it seems that someone realized that we had been seated by the server the service picked up. read more

I love everything about this place. The service is always great and so is the food. Their pizza is delicious and always fresh. But my favorite thing to order here is their Marco Polo chicken salad! This is one of the few restaurants where I actually crave a salad. The chicken is perfectly cooked with an amazing chili dressing. What I also love about this place is the location. It's right on Lincoln Road and it is the perfect place for people watching.
