It's been a yearly issue when the heat starts and the grass starts looking stressed. Relying on Yelp and Google.. lead me to Matt from countryside Lawns. Reached out last week, and prompt communication from the start. Matt arrived today and I led him to the problem area.. After two hours of replacing and adjusting sprinkler heads, I could already see a difference. Knowledgeable, professional and honest.. that best describe the visit. Green Lizard fixed everything, and helped up improve it beautifully over the years with their great ideas and expert capabilities. They won numerous awards for the work, and it helped our house to sell for a good price a few years later. They are the nicest, most pleasant people to work with, and use honorable labor practices, hiring only qualified, legal labor. Good landscaping isn't cheap, but their prices are fair, their billing practices are honest, and they're always on the lookout for a bargain (like a great tree at a bargain price.) They are great at everything from mundane seasonal cleanups to certified arborist work like installing a giant tree. They installed a massive stone sculptural fountain in a pre-existing courtyard and amazingly didn't scratch a surface, and it's worked perfectly for years. Of all the businesses and contractors I've worked with over the years in the Carson Valley, Green Lizard is by far the best, with not a single problem that wasn't resolved quickly and in a way that made me happy. Hire them for new install, remodeling, or maintenance. They're the best!

If you call them, you're lucky to get a call back but, if you do hear from them, it will be days later. My main problem was getting them to do the backyard. Apparently, at one time, I told them not to go in the back. They never reduced my bill when they stopped doing the back. And 2 years later, when I asked them to resume servicing the backyard, I was never able to get them to do it. I repeatedly asked them to and their excuse was that I had asked them not to. But I'm asking them to do it now! So why not do it? Baffling. Finally, I was done trying. So I hired another company. I paid $265 for them to catch up what hadn't been being done in the FRONT lawn and bushes. OMG. The bushes had grown about a foot beyond their normal shape. Jill offered no reason for this, no apology for the bushes not being done and no reduction of my bill. Not a fan.
