So far everything has been great. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice at check-in after we spoke on the phone about an issue we were facing at another hotel down the road. We were by an elevator and something kept making a noise and I couldn't sleep (5 months pregnant) and our infant was having issues sleeping too. They gave us a new room, no problem! Loved this hotel!! I stayed after not exactly feeling like braving the elements from Boulder to Denver. This location is a little challenging to get to (the main reason for the 4 stars). the staff was incredibly helpful and able to get me in with little delay. I'd ask that they consider plowing a little earlier... also, just a heads up- if you have a new iPhone, consider bringing your own cords. the alarm clock is set up as a iPod deck for the 32 prongs - which is awesome - but didn't help me too much :( wish they'd have one of those clever little charger boxes with different plugs! read more

We stayed here for 4 nights over New Years. We loved everything about our room. The kitchenette came in handy so we were not eating out every meal. The ice machine helped keep our cooler cold. I enjoyed the separate sitting area so that if someone was sleeping you didn't have to feel like you were walking on egg shells so you didn't disturb them. We had a lovely view of the mountains and there was a lot in walking distance to us. The only problem we had with our room was the beds being pretty small. My partner is a big guy. I was thankful we had another bed for me to crawl in. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. They let us check in early and allowed us a late check out. We will stay here again if we have the need to be in the area! read more

This was our home away from home while we were looking for housing in Colorado. We stayed here twice. The first time, my husband's employer put us up there and the second time we chose to stay here based on a number of factors: First, the service is impeccable! From the greeting at the front desk to the folks running the continental breakfast to the courteous staff, we were continually treated as valuable guests. The location in Westminster is so convenient to anywhere you might wish to go in the Front Range. We were mostly in Boulder for our first visit and that was only a few minutes up the freeway. On our second visit, we were looking for housing all over the Front Range and beyond, and this hotel was the perfect central location. The front desk was particularly helpful in providing assistance and any directions needed as well as recommending local attractions. The rooms were clean and well appointed, and the beds were comfy-very important! Best sure to check them out! read more

I don't know where to start. The first impression at the front desk is shameful. The staff can't be bothered to iron their shirts or stand to greet a guest. Asking the most basic questions such as where to eat or where a post office is was beyond their scope. Upon getting to our room we thought was oddly laid out, but not horrible. We thought we were getting a suite with a kitchen, that really means a crappy tiny microwave and a college dorm size fridge. No cups, plates or silverware. The hits keep on coming....The heat/air made such a loud racket you can't sleep. And the last straw ... there is mold in the bathroom (see picture). I could tell you that while standing in the shower I could hit the ceiling ( I'm 5'7) . Needless to say I won't stay here again. I am a die hard Marriott fan, but not this time. read more

But we arrived from Iowa at 2 am with a sleeping 2 yr old only to b put in a room that the air didn't work so She was great at giving us another room but it was just inconvenient moving with a two yr old trying to sleep. So are use the Hotel Tonight app and me and my wife decide to get away from the house for anniversary and spend two nights in a hotel unfortunately we chose the wrong hotel I should have looked at Yelp 1st to see the reviews because most of the reviews are in line with our experience here it first started with the elevator that looked like it was wiped down with a filthy rag and still had streaks inside the elevator when we entered our room there is a noticeable older that we do not know what it could be from upon entering the bathroom there was no toilet paper there was toothpaste splatter on the mirror poo stains in the toilet and the ceiling look like it had been patched up very poorly in the shower area from a prior leak, they were drip stains on one of the interior walls which is weird because why are there drip stains on the wall one of the legs on the desk is visibly bent inwards when we pulled back the bedding there were stains on the pillow covers as well as hair in the bed this has just been an all-round unacceptable and horrible experience ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE ! I would not recommend even entering this hotel not only does it seem unsanitary it also does not seem safe read more

I cant believe this hotel. First of all at 1am the whole hotel had to evacuate because of a fire alarm "malfunction". We were all standing outside for almost 2 hours...then again at 8am, then stopped 15 minutes later and then at 8:45. Second of all the whole A/C system in the hotel rooms are broken. The A/C doesnt get any lower than 74. The staff is rude. Do not book this place.. go somewhere else. read more

I've never wrote a negative review but here goes. I'm a Platinum member for Marriott and stay in their hotels as much as possible. Actually never stayed at a real bad one but last night ended that streak. This hotel is falling apart, staff is great cleanliness was good , but like I said had some problems last night. First the smoke alarm started beeping at 3am then after calling the front desk and a young girl trying her best to help, I removed the alarm myself. 4am the air conditioning started rattling and I just gave up. Newer hotel that is showing signs of aging. Wall paper peeling, lack of towels and washcloths, rusty drain in bathtub, greasy or oily spills at the front entrance look like someone vomited on the concrete. Probably the most disturbing discovery was several homeless people living in their cars in the parking lot with trash littering the area around their disabled vehicles. Front desk did not seem to care much when I reported it to them. Breakfast and coffee was decent and room seemed clean. Wouldn't stay here again though. read more

Can you relax in filth?? While I didn't really want to stay at this hotel, it was the only thing available for the days I needed. Not a surprise as to why it was available. The lobby floor, the elevators, the hallway--dirty and disgusting. Got to my room and it was clear it had not been vacuumed in days, maybe weeks. The Cheetos crumbs, the thread, lint, dirt, and clothing tags--all on the floor! At 1:02am I was vacuuming my own floor--though the first vacuum they bought me didn't work--not a surprise. It is a basic requirement to have a clean room-- Bill Marriott should take his name of the signage--the Marriott brand should be embarrassed and disgusted by the quality of the property. I am going to go to target when it opens in the morning to get antibacterial cleaner and wipe down the surfaces-- If you run this property, step up. Take responsibility for fulfilling some version of a brand promise. You should do far better--this is beyond unacceptable!!!! I will also contact local health authorities and ask that they do an inspection--imagine what the kitchen looks like! read more

Very dated and very dirty hotel. The first room 501 believe, I walked in and was devastated. I wasn't sure where I could place my suitcase or myself that may be clean. The sofa looked like something they picked out of the dumpster. The smell was so gross I had to ask for another room. The next room at least didn't smell and since it was close to midnight when I checked in I made the best of it. Next morning I checked out and checked right in to the Westin down the road. Stay anywhere else. The same parking lot has a Hyatt, Marriott all of which are cleaner than this place. Worst of all I paid $189 for that disgusting night of sleep. To the hotel manager, your front desk person was friendly and I hope you're in line to get this hotel renovated soon. read more

Wish I could give this hotel a zero. Mattress on pull out sofa was not clean or comfortable. Mattress on king bed felt like your head was down hill. Next morning breakfast was a real mediocre. There were real eggs and pretty good sausage but no toast, no biscuit only sweet muffins. They do not provide coffee after breakfast. So no coffee for our morning trip. It is a mid-tier hotel, so do not expect luxury. Room amenities range from budget hotel-level (soaps and shampoos are super awful, kitchenette has a flimsy pod coffee maker with only one pod provided, one paper plate and plastic utensils are what pass for "equipped kitchenette" - not even paper towels are provided) to slightly upscale (iPod docking station clock radio, USB ports bedside). The TV does have the ability to plug in HDMI and other components... but is locked down to the Direct TV / pay TV so you cannot use a computer or streaming stick or xbox. The bed is extremely firm, but the bedding is crisp cotton. Upon check in, I noted a strong smoke smell. The desk clerk, very helpful and friendly, sprayed freshener in the bathroom when we discovered that to be ground zero of the smell (it was in the wallpaper and shower curtain). I left the vent on and the door closed for 4 days, since the hotel was "fully booked" and another room could not be found. I note that the room was otherwise clean and well-kept, although there were clear signs of wear on the furniture. The breakfast was fine, the usual cereal, fruit, industrial scrambled eggs, oatmeal, waffle maker, muffins, etc, but there were some little upgrades (agave syrup, fresh spinach for the eggs, good quality walnuts for the oatmeal) that were nice touches. Note that, when the hotel is full, the kitchen staff cannot keep the breakfast bar stocked nor can you get a place to sit. The pool was nice. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. Effusively friendly, down to the grounds keepers who shout, "Good morning!" while sweeping the sidewalks and the breakfast workers who smile and say "More is coming!" while they try to keep up with crowds of hungry guests. The front desk staff helping me to de-smoke my room were appropriately apologetic, even if there was little they could do. So 1 star for the smoke, 3 stars for comfort and livability, and 5 stars for the staff. 3 stars overall. read more

I absolutely LOVE the SpringHill Suites North / Westminster! In fact, I am writing this review as I sit here in my king suite @ the hotel with a couple of hours to kill until a concert @ the 1st Bank Center. The parking lot outside is a generous size with FREE guest parking and well lit for returning (home) on late nights. The front desk staff, especially Joshua is so friendly, accommodating and he keeps his eye out for his guests. When I arrived yesterday, I informed Joshua that I was having a SafeLite auto glass company come and perform windshield repair on my vechicle. I told him that the SafeLite glass company had my home telephone #, and that I'd told them (SafeLite) a zillion times that I was not going to be at home and to please call my cell phone, but alas, only my home phone was on their confirmation. So, Joshua kept an eye out for the SafeLite auto glass company and called me @ my room to let me know they were here to fix my windshield! Like I said in my 1st sentence.. I absolutely LOVE this place. The staff is so friendly towards families, groups and even partiers for concerts @ the 1st Bank Center! The complimentary breakfast in the morning (on weekends) is 7 am - 10 am and the breakfast ladies keep the area spotless and well stocked. This morning they had scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh spinach, salsa, cheddar cheese, breads, english muffins, chocolate poundcake, cereals, milk, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices and coffee. The selection is fantastic and a great way to start my morning! I don't know about other reviews saying the bed is too hard. Geez, what kind of bed do they have at home? Perhaps an old worn out 'taco' bed with a 'canoe' middle and sides that rise up like a taco? I think the beds here are second to none! Yes, they are firm, but ever so comfortable with quality linens / sheets. The kitchenettes in the suites are very well appointed with a microwave, dorm size refrigerator, wet bar sink and a coffee maker. Having plastic plates and plastic silverware in the upper cabinet for re-heating food on plates is a nice touch. Overall, I can happily give the SpringHill Suites 5+ stars and I am planning on coming back for the NYE holiday! read more

The room was not what it has been in the past. First of all the carpet had multiple stains one looks like blood and the couch was stained. When I put my hand on the counter it was quite sticky. I called the hotel a head of time to ask if they had coffee machines in each room they said yes. And there is none. We didn't have an ice bucket, luckily I had a plastic bag I could get ice from the floor above. And I guess they forgot to put trashcan liners in either trash cans. We set our trash outside the door since covid has restricted housekeeping services our trash was still there in the late afternoon. Our thermostat battery is dying so the temperature cannot be regulated in the room. The pool was perfect temperature but needs a chlorine treatment the water was slightly cloudy as I felt a little slimey getting out of the pool. The breakfast they offer, sack breakfast ha is far worse than a sack lunch you would get if you were from the halfway house. Hell even the Holiday Inn Express was far better than this.I highly doubt I will book again to Springhill hotel. read more

My self and husband we stayed at this hotel on August 28th threw the 30th .Our first day and night was great then the second day we where out of the room all day when we got back it was about 7pm we had door dash bring us some food from twin peeks and I will say there food was great,then we ordered the Jake Paul fight from showtime 60+ dollars for that fight we got maybe 45min in and then load banging on our hotel door I mean crazy banging so I jump up put on some clothes go to the door and the man working that night sticks his foot in my door and slings it open and says he coming in to look threw our room I say we'll back up and let my husband get dressed he never closed the door all the way then my husband get to the door and says what's going on .The man say he the manger and he coming in the room, my husband is like no your not. And the mangers tells my husband it was to see if we had guns or holding children or women hostage we are like what??? Keep in mind he is trying to push past my husband to get in and again we where like no so he leaves.. we where so up set we just packed our stuff and went to the front desk because we are TRUCK DRIVERS so for him to say that to two people that have to walk a very straight line to have our job was crazy..we get to the front desk and he's apologizing like crazy said he would give us our money back or make it up in any way.we said you can just credit our money back and we left we still haven't gotten our money back..He told us that he did this to 7 other rooms so he Is harassing rooms because he is on a power trip..We paid right at 600 for two nights there the money lost on our fight and 80 on our food ...we stay at hotels all over the world never have we ever had a problem. We just stayed at Homewood hotel for labor day weekend for 3 day and went to mall of America and it was great we will never stay at this hotel again and I think the Manger there needs a talking to he's on a power trip and a lier about his apologies and our money back..I would not even give it 1 star if I didn't have to...Denver Colorado west Golden stay clear... read more

I have stayed in different Marriott hotels, but during our stay we found bedbugs. We were moved to another room & were not charged for 1 night (we had booked 7 nights). Even though we were in a different room we were always on the lookout for bedbugs. The breakfast area in the hotel was very small & it was fully booked while we were visiting. The workers were good at refilling items but there were just too many people & the milk did run out on more than 1 occasion. The pool was very small & one day seemed that someone had thrown up in it and it was not cleaned up. read more

My family always stays in Marriott brand hotels because they are usually very good quality. This hotel is an unfortunate exception. We got 2 rooms and both had issues. Both were pretty well worn and not as clean as they should have been. One room smelled horrible, the other room couldn't cool off completely because the bed was too close to the air conditioner. When I took a shower I had to send one of my kids to the other room to get conditioner because we had a shampoo and 2 lotions. There was also a soft ball just under one of the beds. The last two things aren't a big deal but they do demonstrate a lack of attention to detail. It's makes me wonder what else they're not paying attention to. read more

Pretty good experience. Hotel staff was kind and courteous. Breakfast was good. Everything was clean and kept up. Overall a great experience and I'd stay there again. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the lobby/ parking lot was always filled with hockey players and their gear. Seemed like at all times they were in the way. Not the hotels fault at all, as I know the hockey players were guests as well but they could've at least instructed them to not leave their gear laying all over the middle of the floor and to keep it down a bit. If it weren't for the constance of teenage hockey players being in the way this would've been 5 stars. read more

Customer service was great. Although, working in the hotel industry for quite some time, cleanliness is the most important. Numerous things that I saw that weren't clean. When we checked in our room smelt like cigarets. All counter tops in our room were absolutely filthy. Bathroom door had some sticky stuff on it (did bother to clean it, so disgusting). The lamps by the bed and the microwave were so dusty. The small towels we were given were stained. We did thankfully get a 2pm check out, but around 12:30 housekeeping comes on in. That is very unacceptable, if that were to happen where I work; I wouldn't hear the end of it. I've never stayed in a Marriott hotel where the cleanliness wasn't above and beyond. read more

For the last 6 years this has been our go-to hotel when we visit family in Denver. During our last visit we were surprised at how far downhill this hotel has gone. The entire hotel looks very shabby. In our rooms, the couch, carpet and bedding were filthy, and the safe in my room was broken. In the bathroom there was some sort of overspray on the drain because someone was too lazy to cover it, there was a lot of rust around the drain, and the tile looked like it had been caulked by a 3-year-old playing with finger paint. The breakfast was prepackaged items that can be found in a convenience store. This hotel was not worth the price we paid to stay at a Marriott. Finally, we had a minor issue that was an easy fix and the young man who said that he's the owner/manager was shockingly belligerent. With all the other choices of hotels in the area, there's even a new Marriott right across the parking lot, we won't be back. read more

Very disappointing experience.... reached the hotel past midnight. They checked us in a room handed the keys we head to the room to find that the keys were old style (swipe key) and the locks were replaced for another kind of key. So we go to the receptionist he gave us new keys. We open the room to find wall to wall piles & piles of boxes in the room. We freaked out - rushed to the front desk they took 20 mins + and assumed a room (saying they weren't sure whether it's occupied or not ) We praying that it's almost 1am now and we don't want to walk into a room with someone else in there. When we checked in, valet parking was the only hotel parking offered. We were not informed of the $34.00 a night charge to have our car at the hotel. When we checked out, we were informed of $34.00 valet fee. They should have informed me of the $68.00 fee for our 2 day stay! When the front desk told me they had removed the fee? Spoke to the manager before arriving. She was pleasant. When we arrived we found out they took out the hot tub because "it's cheaper". We asked if we could move our reservation next door to the other Marriott and were told we would be charged for our stay because we didn't cancel within 48 hours. We asked if we could use the Marriott's hot tub and were originally to "no" and then told that we could call them ourselves. The little teeny bopper helping us had an attirude like we we're being rude for asking about amenities that were advertised on the website. When we got to our room and into the bathroom, the towel rack broke. When we went to make the pull out, the pillow had stains on it. Which is disgusting! When we went to turn the TV on, the channels said no signal and when we went to turn on the air conditioner it has handwriting that says don't use. You've got to be kidding me, Marriott. The only inconvenience of this wonderful hotel is the construction in the nearby parking lot. Its conveniently located off highway 36 makes it easy to travel to Boulder or Denver within minutes. We stayed at Hyatt Place in Boulder last time and there is no comparison. Spring Hill is getting worn due to neglect. Toilet plugged up twice. We had to get a plunger ourselves the first time. The second time the handy man attended to it The a/c is either too cold or to hot. The ice machine on our floor was broken our entire visit of 4 nights. The maids did not replenish TP or Kleenex. The refrigerator freezer does not work. There is no TV guide for channels, no pen or paper. The water is scaldingly hot. I would be very careful with children. The breakfast the first morning was skimpy. They ran out of most everything. The paper was available for only one morning. We will not return. read more

I like this hotel, for the price, it was an awesome steal. Each of the rooms had its own couch, a kitchenette, bathroom/vanity area. I also liked how they had onsite coin laundry, a gym and a pool. The rooms were designed quite nicely, I liked the turquoise, green and blue furnishings and painting on the wall. I also liked how the study desk was separate from the bed area, so that way I could concentrate on any work I had to do, instead of staring of my bed, thinking about taking a nap. I forgot what time the breakfast was served, but it ended quite early, at around 10am. It was a typical Continental breakfast setting, with waffles, eggs, sausage, muffins, bagels etc etc. I did like how they had a wide selection of milk/ Nonfat, 2%, Whole Milk and Cereal, including Raisin Bran, Cheerios, Captain Crunch and Granola. Yogurt, nuts and dried fruits were also plentiful options, and salsa to go with the eggs. I was happy with the service that I received from Springhill Suites. The location was average, if it were closer to a larger shopping or had a bit more attractions, I would definitely have given it 5 stars. read more

There was a nasty Oder in the room, stains on carpet, shower drains rusty, tv was broken, the room never got cleaned (I had to special request someone to come clean) and AC until was loud all night long. The pictures looked nice on line so I booked for five nights. I'm really disappointed because for the price I paid I could have stayed somewhere nice. Pleasant reception, good weekend night rate, clean room. King room was awkwardly configured and cramped. Tv between side room and bedroom Not really convenient for either. Work out room spacious with nice equipment. Most difficult was breakfast. Tables were so close together in small area that people had trouble passing between. It was also poorly ventilated There just was not enough room for existing tables and insufficient room for number of guests. They were into the lobby with plates and cups held in their laps. Very upset about the service here. We requested two queens and were given a king. We called in advance for a rollaway bed 4 hours before arrival and were told they would provide it because they weren't able to provide the queens. Once we checked in we reminded Toni (the very rude front desk person) about the rollaway bed and were told they would bring it up. Approximately 30 minutes later we received a call from Toni stating there were no more rollaway beds "because everyone's asking for them." No apology, just an 'oh well' attitude. "First Visit" I live in Denver but stayed at this hotel in order to attend a holiday dinner nearby. This was my first stay at a SpringHill Suites and the location was perfect. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though this hotel seems to be fairly new I think it needs to be freshened up. The lobby was not very welcoming and the carpets throughout need to be cleaned. My room was clean for the most part but stains on the carpet and a very bad odor of cigarette smoke made it unpleasant and I did have an issue with the temperature control in the room. Otherwise it was very quiet, even on a busy Friday night and great proximity to the shopping and restaurants. read more
