My husband and I recently stayed at Origin Redrock, checking in on Saturday, September 7, and checking out earlier today, September 9. Unfortunately, I feel compelled to share our disappointment with the condition of the room we were provided (Room 336), as it did not meet the standards we had expected given the rate of $450 per night. Here are a few issues we encountered during our stay: **The room was overall quite dirty. **There were noticeable stains on the lamp shades. **The furniture appeared worn out and in need of replacement. **The bedding was ripped, and despite requesting a replacement, it was never addressed during our stay. ** The bathroom faucet was not properly attached to the countertop, making it difficult to use. Given these conditions, we do not believe the price of the room was fair and are very disappointed with our experience. Based on this, I regret to say that we would not recommend the hotel to others. I contacted the hotel the day we checked out and have not heard anything back which is really the reason for posting this negative review. Overall dirty room and clearly they don't care as they have my money now.

We flew into Denver later and stayed here on our way to Breckinridge for our snowboarding trip. The hotel is conveniently located off I-70 and is near a variety of food places within walking distance. When I got to the front desk to check in, there was a sign that said they'd be back in 5 minutes. I waited for a while and no one showed up, and more people were coming in and forming a line. It was definitely way past 5 minutes. My husband tried to call the hotel and whoever picked up was not helpful and seemed confused as to why we were saying there's no one at the front desk. A guy finally showed up and seemed flustered but was nice. The hotel and room is very tastefully decorated and clean. The bed is comfortable and we didn't have any issues with noise the night we stayed.

Clean modern hotel which is the choice of people coming into town for a concert at red rocks. Not part of a chain. The king bed was awesome, the temperature control was very responsive. Decor is like Marriotts "the loft" design. Everything worked perfectly. in room coffee and fridge. Breakfast not included, not even morning coffee. Budget 45 additional dollars for the hotel restaurant.

Here is the photo evidence by the way!

I booked this hotel back in August for a concert next week but unfortunately have gotten sick so can no longer attend. The confirmation email I received from the hotel, I booked through the website, says cancellation policy is 48 hours prior to check in on date and there are no charges. I am calling today Sep 20 and the reservation is for Sep 24. They are telling me I will be charged 1 night stay because the cancellation policy is 5 days prior. ...but my confirmation literally says 48 hours! They then told me I have to call the third party I booked through, but I didn't book through a third party. I told them the number on the hotel website and the confirmation I received was the number I was calling so they transferred me to some customer support who reiterated that the cancellation was 5 days even though my confirmation email FROM THE HOTEL says 48 hours! I have been on the phone for 30 minutes and was told they could not help but to call the hotel and they gave me the SAME phone number I had originally called, the number that was still on my phone. I did call it again and hit 2 for Sales and they didn't even answer. This whole thing is ridiculous. I ended up emailing the email that sent the confirmation email but lord knows no one is monitoring that or its just an outbox. Regardless, I will be disputing the charge should it come in. They also had the audacity to sign me up for Wyndham rewards. No thanks.

Inviting lobby, pleasant staff. They have bikes for guests to use which is pretty cool. Couldn't switch from a room with one king bed to two queens since we were booked through a third party, which seems dumb. Whoever designed this room doesn't understand bathroom privacy. The barn door to the bathroom is half wavy glass...right in front of the toilet. They use all gels here, and the shower gel was super watered down so we had to use the hand soap gel instead. Shampoo was positioned so that you spray yourself in the face when you reach your hand to get some. The shower spray was...aggressive... but nice and HOT! Although the shower door opened so that keeping your hair dry is impossible. AC was legit, we were able to sleep nice and cold. Bed was comfy. Like all hotels, the walls are pretty thin for noise. The fridge door was falling apart and the inside was not at all cold so we had to throw our food away. No microwave in the room, or on the floor that we could find. Decent stay.

My boyfriend and I came into town for a night and stayed at Origin. We both love the atmosphere and design of the hotel. The front desk agent who checked us in was fantastic-throwing in a couple of free drink cards because we had a long travel day. We booked a deluxe king room which had a mountainside view. The room was spacious, clean and well designed. We had an issue with our original room on the second level because the mattress was caved in on the right side and had an incredibly squeaky bed frame. We called down to the front desk and the issue was promptly resolved with a room change to the 4th floor. The room on the 4th floor had a slightly better view but the bed was still a little caved in on the right side and squeaked but was minimal compared to our previous room. The bed was comfortable, however, it is clear this establishment may need to update their mattresses. Breakfast was good. This place makes a solid Bloody Mary! I had the chorizo breakfast burrito which was fantastic! Fun tip: Elk pass through the field on the mountainside of the hotel. If you're lucky, you can watch them from your hotel window munching away on brush

Comfortable clean rooms. Has a gym with free weights and cardio machines. Onsight bar and restaurant so you don't have to go out in the cold if you don't want to. Close to Red Rocks, Dinosaur Ridge, and Cabrini Shrine.

We booked this the morning of our stay as we drove from MN to CO. The website states their COVID action plan and policies and that they aren't booking any rooms up to 48 hours once they have been occupied. This alone makes you feel safe and assured. When we arrived we were happy to find that the pictures and description match real life. Easy check in process, front desk employees are wearing mask, stay a safe distance apart, explain everything needed and send you on your way. They are offering to go breakfast at the front desk in the mornings for purchase. They clearly let you know you can order from the Nomad restaurant downstairs and eat it in your room if you'd like. And they have reminders to social distances and only ride with 2 persons or your own party in the elevator. The room was clean and felt very modern and laid out. The only thing we noticed was quite a bit of dust underneath things and along corners with it being all wood floors but other than that we felt totally safe especially for it being our first stay since COVID took over our active lifestyle. When you check out you place your keys in a bucket of sanitizer and carry on your way. Red rocks amphitheater is currently closed to pedestrians and visitors which is a bummer but just means we will have to come back to see a show and stay here again once life allows us to! The gym was still closed FYI as they have to follow state guidelines. Located outside of golden but close enough and close to red rocks. Hallways can be louder once people are moving about and we kept hearing a double knock noise in the early hours which was odd - thinking it was an electric room maybe across the hall from us? Not sure! Gas station literally a stones throw away so easy to fill up if you are road tripping before hopping in the road again. Thank you, origin for being clean and friendly and making us feel safe and welcome staying here. We wish you all the luck as you continue to start reopening and welcoming guests.

    Excellent burger. $12 only.

It took me a day or so to warm up to this hotel. At first, I found it a little too modern for my taste and noticed some inconvenience like the lack of drawers to store clothes, especially underwear and socks and little things like that. So you have to keep things in your suitcase, but there is a nice area to lay it down. There is also a closet to hang shirts and coats. Then I discovered the pluses of this hotel: Comfortable bed with nice linens Super nice shower, powerful and roomy. Nice when you come from a long hike and all you want is relax and get some soothing from a nice hot shower. Quiet, even though it's a dog friendly hotel, I was never bothered by any barking Nice TV with Netflix, which you just have to sign in. That signing resets every day which is a little annoying when you stay for a week but insures your privacy when you leave the room. Decently fast free internet which you can upgrade to a very fast one Nice and very affordable restaurant (Nomad) which is convenient when you are too tired to go anywhere after a long day in the mountains. Cute art throughout the hotel Super nice front desk Other choices for food across the street Very convenient location, right off I70 and not far from other main roads

In room coffee service! $15 room charge, but it was worth it!!

I loved how unique the venue was, easy to access from the highway for out of town folk, and tucked away it felt once you were inside. We got some gorgeous mountain photos! Shea was so lovely and answered any questions we had. Our guests absolutely raved and I am still getting compliments on how unique it was. I think the important thing to know with the Mansion - it is not a typical style venue and is not a good fit for certain groups. For context, we had a 120 person afternoon wedding in July (2-7pm). I did a tremendous amount of research and painstakingly picked each vendor, who all ended up working together and are incredible. If you are a bride looking for a more inclusive-everything-included style venue, this is not it. IF you are willing to do work on researching vendors, you can make the Mansion work for you at your price point and are rewarded in something more custom. It can really rack up cost wise if you use all the recommended vendors and do all the add-ons. We rented the entire space (highly recommend) so our wedding moved throughout the venue and guests got different experiences. I loved the outside ceremony and they have nice white chairs that look great in photos. Cocktail hour was outside in the gardens - so pretty still in July! The reception was inside. I loved the stone walls, very little decor is needed which is awesome. If you have over 80ish people and want a dance floor, we did have to flip some tables to make room, but our catering team did it so fast and we did the first dance outside - then conga lined the party back inside. Honestly I think more people started dancing since they already were up and moving, so it worked better than I hoped. I would pick this 10 out of 10, but like I said, I think it's good to know this is not the spot for a bride without a planner or who is willing to do her homework. Because it is a historical site, if you have a lot of custom built out decor or a large wedding or want to get ready at the venue, this is not for you. If you have under 120, want something special, and are organized (or have a good friend who is) you have found the perfect spot. Photography credit: Melina Massengill (melinamassephoto)

Where do I start? We chose Boettcher Mansion as the venue for my son's wedding on May 4th, 2024…read more What an incredible result. We had family and friends converge from all over the world to experience the best of Colorado. The weather behaved itself as well as can be expected in early May and the venue and its recommended vendors were the best that they could be! Boettcher Mansion is in a beautiful setting, allowing for an outdoor wedding with the woods as a backdrop, and cocktail hour and pictures with the sunset emerging behind the mountains. While we had just a sprinkle or two, the clouds made for a perfect vista, and if a downpour had occurred, the wedding could be quickly moved inside. We visited many potential wedding venues across the front range, including some beautiful options in Estes Park. We visited Boettcher Mansion first, and it inevitably remained our top choice as it offered several perquisites while also checking off the Bride and Groom's event venue expectations for the wedding. Ultimately, Boettcher Mansion's facility with its iconic outdoor colorado beauty, ample preparation accommodations for both the bride and groom and attendants, beautiful outdoor patio and reception space, and the ability to fully customize the event won us over. This venue provided a remote location with proximity to the Denver for out-of-town/country visitors to stay, and ease of access for all involved. As an added bonus, their fee supports Jefferson County Parks. The ability to customize every aspect of the day at first seemed daunting, but ended up being important to the special day. Boettcher Mansion hosts an annual wedding show where you can talk to all their recommended vendors. If you veer from these vendors and go your own way, you can do so for an extra fee. But by sticking with the recommended options for the major items, you will find they are very familiar with Boettcher policies, allowing you to have an efficient event on the day and secure the return of 100% of your $500 damage deposit! We chose Roots for our catering, which deserves its own special review, but for now I will say that the food and service were spectacular. The food was prepared, plated, and presented beautifully, with delicious options for everyone. The caterer also handled the sparkling toast and cocktail and wine service with their trained and certified servers, but the offerings were provided by us. We could have hired Applejack (or whomever) to deliver what we wanted, which is a huge cost savings over other venues who require the customer to use in-house service, and permits customization to personal tastes. In this case, Applejack will accept returns for any unopened bottle at the end of the night. In our case, however, the Bride and Groom selected the unique dinner wines and champagne toast from their parents' cellared wine libraries, adding a nice touch to the experience of their special day and helping to control costs even further. The Grand Piano in Boettcher Mansion's reception hall offered a special moment, when, at the Bride's request, the brother-of-the-groom played Debussy's Claire de Lune as the processional. Boettcher Mansion offers a D.J. You can provide your own music, but we found the D.J to be helpful in announcing what was to happen next, etc. He also offered a Photo Booth, which provided the Bride and Groom with a thumb drive of all their guest's funny pictures throughout the evening. Other exceptional vendors for whom I should write a separate review include Jessica Shipman, the "Day of" planner. Can't have a wedding without her! She, incredibly, planned and coordinated everything throughout the entire day, allowing all the guests and family to enjoy the event and focus on the Bride and Groom without having to be worried about actually doing any decorating or coordinating leading up to, and on the day. TeeLee Florist put together a one-of-a-kind Tower of Flowers for the alter, while we secured a beautiful and cost-effective flower package from Costco for the bulk of the floral decorations and the bouquet/corsages. We hired a shuttle service to offer for people to go up and down Lookout Mountain, for those who found the drive daunting, or out-of-towners without a car. Berg Berg Photography captured special moments throughout the event, including the sunset, and even provided special lighting for effect. Special candles handcrafted by the mother-and father-of the bride, and table number placards artfully drawn by the sister-in-law of the bride represent additional custom touches permitted by Boettcher Mansion that made the day incredibly special. In the end, our happy couple was forever touched by the gifts family and friends provided in memories we carry away from the wedding, indelibly amplified by the ambiance, staff, vendors, and personalization afforded by this incredible gem in Golden, Colorado.

Bailey was even accommodating and friendly to work with when she needed to step in. I couldn't do a five-star review because of the event director, Macey. We began working with Savanna, which is a big reason why we booked the venue after meeting with her. I don't know where to begin with Macey. I understand she was newish at the time and maybe even was going through some personal issues. She was not only unresponsive and annoyed that I contacted her more than a couple of times but on top of that very rude to both myself and my family. Countless items that we agreed upon in the beginning of planning did not come through, and we were charged for two items we didn't receive on wedding day. When setting up the room, three hours before the ceremony (we hired a day of coordinator to do this) she told my aunt, "Good luck" and walked away. The cherry on top was when she called me at 0900 the day after our wedding to tell us to come and get the décor items left from the night before. We had previously agreed that we could leave the items there until 1pm. Upon arriving I had asked Macey why this needed to be done right now, her response: "well, I need to use my office don't I". Macey does not care about you or your event, she just wants your payment and quantity trumps quality. The salesperson who originally booked our event was no longer employed there, and I had to repeatedly ask why these promises could not be fulfilled. It felt as though the team had simply agreed to everything initially in order to make the sale. Eventually, after several conversations, The Pines did reverse course on some of these issues and were able to accommodate most of my requests. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by unprofessional behavior from our assigned wedding planner, who reportedly told my son and son-in-law that my daughter and I were "too intense" and that she "got stuck" working with us. That level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable and deeply disappointing, especially given the importance of the event and the significant investment we made. Would not recommend.

I think the lady calling was thinking we would be mad, it was all good. They handled it great. Can't really think of anything that needed to better- loved it and will stay again.

I have a unique perspective as I have attended for the las t2 years as a guest and this year as a staff member working with them. Linda and her husband who are the owners are some of the kindest most generous people to work. They are incredibly flexible and good hearted. The venue is beautiful. The first time we went I was a little thrown off because it's not a "beautiful" area in the middle of all the buildings. Yet, somehow, there in the middle of the concrete jungle not far from the fed center, they have created this spectacular escape that makes you feel far from it all. I don't know if the spectacular, almost European felling stone interior, the stunning chandeliers and fireplace or the little pond with the water fountain, but it makes you feel as if you are far from the rest of the world. The staff is spectacular, Ashley and Kathryn helped us develop our signature drink and mixed away like Tom Cruise in cocktail as I dipped away on about 7 different drinks that they created from my " we'd like to do something maybe like a Manhattan with apple spice" description of what we wanted. They brought us pans and mirrors that we could sue for elevation for our silent auction, they had chalk markers for signs. As they started putting the table cloths that we had picked initially and I abruptly stopped them and they upped out another option and checked to assure that we had enough for tables. Wow, they bent over backwards and really had a "we are here for you" attitude. Also, THE FOOD!! I had a fried chicken with polenta and spiced apples, we also had a pork chop as an option and a butternut squash vegetarian option YUMMY! I only ate half, and then kept trying to shove it down, because it was so good! Shout out to Tabitha who was also there to help with any needs that aired and I think it was Amanda, the sous chef that helped the day of setup. Also, one of the bar tenders whose name I didn't catch rocked it- our second bar wasn't set up, so I asked him and he got to work "full bar or wine and beer" within 30 seconds he was moving tables and bottles an probably 4 minutes later, they were set up!! That's how it's done my friends!! Thank you to the staff for making our event one for the Bridge of Hope Greater Denver record books! We couldn't have pulled it off without their generosity and cheer, and undeniable desire to serve!!
