A cursory overlook of the hotel shows it to be cool, modern location. I was very excited about my upcoming stay. Everything in the room should have been perfect, but unfortunately it was not. The only person that should be addressing this is management for a lack of proper training and quality checks. I am sure management are more office people then actually checking their property. The beds are comfortable and they do have free parking. The staff are super friendly as well. A few caveats. The coffee maker in my room didn't work. Even after reading and following the directions. No complimentary coffee in the lobby. Mini fridge was dirty. Kleenex box was empty; TV remote wasn't working. All clocks had the wrong time on them and they couldn't be adjusted. Theres not a lot of carpet at this place but what they do have every bit of it was dirty. In the rooms, and all common areas. Hallway carpets were old and worn. Our room's furniture was cheap particle board, that is already showing the test of time. The blackout curtains and safe were broken. There appears to be a missing chair. The aesthetic of the room was not inviting. The cheap furniture is spread throughout especially in the restaurant and elevator lobbies. The gym had several broken pieces of equipment and missing weights. For the price we expected so much more. Skip this one. read more

We did a late check in and the hostess was super friendly and helpful when checking in for our room. The room is fabulous! I LOVE the modern decor and the super high ceilings makes the room feel even bigger than it is. I booked my room through an event block and was amazed by the variety of room types (basic, suites and bunk rooms) and the cute style. I opted for a jr suite, because why not. I love that they had a ceiling fan and the bathroom was huge with a really nice walk in shower. Quaint boutique hotel in Westminster. You'll find parking in the back, with an elevator that can either take you down a half level to the lobby, or up to the rooms. Check in was easy, and the clerk Nelson was fantastic to work with. Lobby is decorated nicely, there appear to be bikes you can borrow, a little area that you can purchase snacks from and a little store area to buy clothing souvenirs. There's also a restaurant, but as of writing this review I have not tried it. Parking is ample, though you may need to park in the designated overflow across the street. Rooms are nicely decorated, a desk, a nespresso machine, a small refrigerator. No dresser, though there is a low bench with 2 drawers. If you're like me, and unpack when you stay a few days, you may find that annoying. There may be a dresser in single bed rooms, I had a double. Oh, no iron, but they provide a clothes steamer (which i much prefer). Beds are pleasantly comfortable as well (which is what really matters, right?). Very nicely curated hotel. It has the look and feel of a mountain lodge, very industrial feel. Due to the industrial feel, the rooms can feel a bit cold and disconnected. When I first read the reviews I was like - why is everyone talking about the sinks? So, it's true. The sinks don't drain well (basically they chose looks over function). Things don't drain well. Since I was traveling alone, it didn't bother me but I can see how it could bother you seeing someone else's toothpaste, etc just chilling on the sink. The rooms didn't have rugs. Mainly hardwood. It looks nice but I think it causes noise (I could hear a lot of people above me walking around). Not enough to disturb me, but iam also a deep sleeper. Also, since it's all hardwood, dust accumulates. This can make the room look dirtier than it is. The gym is blah. No peloton. I was kinda salty about this as I was in-between a few hotels in the area and i choose this because I was told it had a peloton. The gym is mainly treadmills and free weights. They did have a water bottle filling station in the lobby, which was nice and also very Colorado, lol. It also was nice having a fridge in the room. No tv checkout. No room service. No daily cleaning service. The location is ok. Walkable to some things but not a lot but if you're car-less there's some food options and entertainment options you can walk to. Would I stay here again? Probably not. I don't like there's no daily cleaning and I don't like the gym. I also don't like that I was told there was a peloton and there was not. I would not say this is a bad hotel by any means, I feel like it's newer and still working out some kinks but I also feel like there's better options available. A beautiful place, tho. read more

The hotel was nice and in a good location and the receptionist was nice, however the room we were originally put in, the door would not latch after we got in initially. We had to cancel our evening plans to sit around with our stuff at the hotel while the receptionist tried to figure out the door. Im not sure why maintenance wasnt called or why we werent immediately moved to a different room for our two night stay, and it was almost 2 hours later before they gave us an update and moved us. While the 2nd room was nice and bigger they let us know that they could only let us stay in that room for one night , so we had to reschedule our tickets to two locations to a later date since we had no idea if we'd be able to have a room for the 2nd night. I had hoped to enjoy our stay, since this was a splurge for us, but I couldn't because for the first 2 -3 hours we were there, I was sitting in my room stressed because our plans got all fucked up. We checked out in the morning because it just completely soured our anniversary trip and just completely fucked up our itinerary. We requested a refund for the 2nd night and they still charged us for both nights even though they were the ones that couldn't figure a better solution read more

My husband during check out told the room was dirty and the response was a flat my apologies response. The room would shake not sure what that was about lol. The shower water pressure was so strong. The room was really dirty when I arrived. I notified staff and was assured the room would be given a full housekeeping service while I was out the following day. I returned to see my room in the same state after a long hike. The bathroom and shower floor were obviously dirty, the drawers and floors in the main room were dirty. The sink needed maintenance, the shower pressure was very unpleasant. The alarm clock and coffee maker did not work. No working AC in the building 66 outside but 77 inside in august? Parking availability was awful, it was obvious they don't have enough spaces per room for their hotel. It was not a comfortable or relaxing stay in the slightest. read more

Drinks were phenomenal but the dinner has much room for improvement. The pork shank was enormous; it's definitely a meal for two & could benefit from a footnote or the # of ounces being listed. Protein that size also needs a bigger plate; presentation & dining experience suffer without it. To make it more picturesque & appetizing (which is the entire allure of in-room dining vs room service) they should've placed the shank in the center of the polenta, standing up. Then put the tomatoes and bacon jam around it. The Polenta was buttery and creamy but didn't quite have that "smooth grits" texture. They nailed the savory, but overdid it on the salt. I couldn't fully enjoy this dish due to my high blood pressure. Mini fridge, bottle water, & espresso maker are conveniently located in the rooms. Water & ice are also located on the guest floors. NOISE Nicely soundproof from outside noise but the AC can be loud. The mini fridge also has a loud condenser. Since the temperature dial was removed/missing, the only option was to unplug it for some peace & quiet. LOCATION Great walkability, security & safe enough for jogging. VERDICT The WiFi was rough & dinning service could be improved, but it was still a positive staycation. The location, amenities, & customer service make this a really solid accommodation. Great new space in a good location but... I saw this place coming up when i lived in the area and always wanted to have a staycation. So moving away & returning to Denver meant it finally gave me a reason to stay. It's a beautiful hotel but even for a new place has a few dings. The bed is a bit on the firm side & the high ceilings amplify the sounds (also keep the room a bit on the chilly side). it's convenient to have not only a coffee shop in house but also across the street. The pics don't lie, this hotel is absolutely beautiful and feels brand new. That being said, I would not recommend staying here if you are a light sleeper. There is a large generator at the end of the building that has a deep hum that runs all night. We were originally in the room directly above it (201) but requested to move in the middle of the night because the room vibrated and humming kept us up. We had to wait until the following day to get a room change and they moved us far away from it. That being said, the hotel is still pretty loud. I could hear the next door neighbor plug in their phone every night, cough, etc. That's pretty typical TBH but the thing that really annoyed us was the slamming of doors. Every single time a door closed in our hallway, it woke us up. It's not just a loud thud, it sounds like our own door was being slammed shut. The hotel is beautiful, the location is great, but I just could not get a good night's sleep here. It's really unfortunate, because I really wanted to like this place - and I typically don't have issues sleeping in hotels at all. This was definitely noisier than the average hotel. Because of all of this, I would NOT recommend this hotel to light sleepers. We considered leaving after the first night, but everywhere else was considerably more expensive. read more

I called asking if I could get a late checkout, guest services told me that they can't guarantee a late checkout and I'd have to call back the next day at 9am to request a late checkout. Isn't the whole point of a late checkout so you can sleep in a bit later? The other weirdness is that you have to put in an order for housekeeping services before 9am on the day you want housekeeping services. They have a sign you can hang on the door that says "Yes please" but it doesn't do anything. You can have that hanging on your door and housekeeping will just past you up if you didn't order your housekeeping. The clock was 10 hours out of sync when I first arrived and the time set button was behind a screwed-on panel. I had to lookup the model on the internet to see where it was because there was absolutely no instructions anywhere in the room to guide you. I called the front desk to get a Philips screwdriver to reset the clock! [Bangs head against wall] I think this could have been a great stay, but whoever thought of those stupid housekeeping and late check-out policies should be shown the door! read more

Brand new, the Origin was spotless. Even before my trip began I was getting emails and phone calls wanting to know if they could do anything to make my stay enjoyable. Nice touch. The room was very nice, comfortable bed, chairs for seating, well appointed, nicely decorated room. Large screen Television. The staff was helpful, friendly and willing to answer questions. The hotel restaurant was phenomenal. (another review). Parking in their lot. The only negative -- the hotel is the first in an mixed use area; therefore there are no other restaurants nearby. Internet is slow (under 10Mbps) and on an unsecured network. You cannot stream anything to your computer and should not do anything that needs a secure connection. The shower head feels like you are getting pelted by sand because you cannot adjust the pressure or the flow. I would not stay here again because of these two things. Everything else about the hotel is fine. No complaints about room size or anything. Policy states they only clean every third day. All staff is very friendly and helpful. read more

Really liked this hotel. Great bar/restaurant (Famille) with great drinks. Every interaction we had with the hotel staff or restaurant staff were superb - great customer service. The rooms are spacious with a really cool modern industrial aesthetic. Large walk-in shower with hot water and high water pressure. Beds were super comfy. Mini-fridge in room and microwave upon request were convenient. There is also a really cool library attached to the hotel where you can read, have a glass of wine, or a coffee. Everywhere in the hotel was impeccably clean and housekeeping is available on request. They don't come every day which I think is how all hotels should be from a sustainability standpoint. Check-in Process: Easy, Booked the Room through the Wyndham App which was the cheapest option. There is an area in the front of the hotel to park temporarily which leads to the lobby. We were able to get our Keys right away and checked in a hour early without any issues. Bathroom: Good - Decent Size single sink plenty of counterpace, Comes with Hair Dryer and the soap and lotion dispensers are refillable which makes using it easy. Supplied the necessary 4 towels and washcloths which is always appreciated when checking in with your family. Bad - Sink had absolutely no water pressure, it's nearly impossible to wash down soap or toothpaste after brushing. Shower was modern however the shower head was not adjustable in anyway so the pressure in the shower was very hard. Bedroom: Good - Comfortable Beds, Has mini Fridge and a Desk along with a sorting trash can. Outlets available on both sides of both queen beds which was great. Internet was included and worked great. overall room design was very modern and its nice to have a room with Flooring rather then carpet. Bad - No Dresser?? Not sure a nice aesthetic replaces the need to put your clothes somewhere. Pillows were very soft. Fridge was cool looking but Extremely Loud, we ended up unplugging it. Mountain view was pretty much a view of the construction and parking lot with mountains in the distance so not sure the extra upcharge was worth it. Parking: Parking was free and is located directly behind the hotel, a limited lot is easily accessible with a public lot a few more steps away. When you check in you are given a parking card that allows you to park in the public lot for free so Parking was never an issue during our 4 night stay. I would like to mention it might be nice to add some A/C in the area between the parking lot and the elevators as it was very hot in the room leading into the hotel from the back. Room Cleaning: Currently they will only clean your room if you ask them to which we did daily as long as ask before 9:00am. This was done 3 out of the 4 days when asked very well, not sure what happened on the 4th day though it seems they just forgot? We did receive an apology and towels were brought up though when we mentioned it to the front desk. Perks: Book Store and Cafe with Coffee and breakfast available for a charge. Coffee was excellent along with the Chai Tea, however the burritos are a hard pass.. Coffee in the Room was excellent Room Overall: Double Queen Mountain View Priced at $182 a night with Taxes id say its a good value. It is a great Location about 15 minutes from Thornton or Denver City walking distance to a Movie theatre and some great restaurants. Overall great aesthetic and very modern looking hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Very disappointing experience here. The sink barely dripped water and didn't drain, but the shower water pressure felt like it was ripping off my skin it was so strong. I also walked out and left my electric toothbrush behind, and when I tried to retrieve it they said the room service people didn't find anything. So we chose this hotel because we have an electric car and they highlighted that they have EV charging stations, there was two when we got there, and both were taken. We stayed here a total of five nights, which is fairly long for a hotel stay. Out of those five nights, three of the nights were taken by cars that were not electric. The rest of the parking lot was closed because of construction so we had to find parking almost 3 blocks away because everything in the area is only a 2-3 hour spot that you pay for. I did let the staff know that the cars that were parked in the EV parking stations were not EV cars and they said they could not do anything about it......warning if you plan on using this hotel because of the EV charging stations, there is no policy about them enforcing the cars that park there and you will have to figure out where to park. Also, no cleaning service unless you ask for it by 9 am and coffee maker didn't work. read more

Very nice hotel, feels and looks pretty new. I liked the cool look and design. Rooms are modern and comfortable, there is no closet, they have a clothing rod with hangers exposed on the wall for you to hang your jackets and other clothes. There were two bottles of water in the room with the price tag of $4 on them, we finished two bottles but were not charged for it. They ask you at check-in how often you want housekeeping done in your room, we requested dayly and and it was done daily for the three days of our stay. They made the beds, organized the room, and changed the towels. They did not change the sheets and did not wash the bathroom, which was absolutely ok with us. The restaurant at the hotel was pretty good, we had our breakfasts and one dinner here. Food is pretty good, on the expensive side but convenient. Staff at the hotel is friendly and helpful, felt like we were getting there personal attention. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend this hotel highly. read more

A wonderful place to stay with a great restaurant-Famille . We stayed over Thanksgiving and enjoyed special menu breakfast and holiday dinner . Lucy, Tyler and Maggie were excellent servers and restaurant manager Haley was so helpful getting my reservations made before I arrived at the hotel. All the restaurant staff wanted everything to be perfect for the Thanksgiving meal and it was a creative chef's spin on the classics - Smoked Turkey w/citrus glaze, Chestnut stuffing, mashed potatoes , cranberry compote, individual mini pumpkin pie and alternate tenderloin steak or veggie meals. Fantastic and every bite absolutely delicious !!! The hotel has a bookstore and coffee house that is relaxing. The Mountain Views were peaceful and about 1 hour drive away. Tasha is the BOMB!!!! She was legit the sweetest most compassionate customer service representative ever. We were expressing our concern about how upset we were with the hotel we had just left. We check into the hotel and checked out within 5 mins because of it being dirty and customer service not being accommodating. She literally was so kind and MADE sure we were happy. This is what keeping customers is all about. She was understanding, nice and funny with her jokes. She also gave us a complimentary upgrade & drinks at the bar at Famille their amazing restaurant downstairs. We are so pleased with our room that has wood floors which is a plus!
