Wonderful and clean property. The staff was great! Super helpful and friendly. Our king room was spacious and clean and this is probably a new hotel because everything is updated. Can't recommend this hotel enough.

    Old decor, smells musty

If you are a woman of color and reading reviews looking for a hotel.. I don't recommend staying at this Springhill suites. You will feel uneasy and uncomfortable. The vibe and energy is off. You will get stares from the men that work on the property. Even getting breakfast was an awkward experience. I'm not sure if people have never seen black nursing travelers, but it's starting to be annoying!! This is the 2nd hotel going thru this. I'm just glad my apartment was ready and only had to stay one night. The room smelled musty. Stains on the couch and sheets. The carpet makes it difficult to roll luggage. I would never stay again. Management, please train your staff in the appropriate way to interact with people of color.

Wow, just wow! This place was amazing! We were going to Cincinnati for the weekend, and wanted a cheap, but clean hotel near Kenwood, so we ended up here! The staff were as kind as can be! For the most part, Coronavirus was handled well, and every thing was spotless! The rooms were amazing offering a separate living room and bedroom area! The bathroom was pretty nice and easily had the best shower I've had anywhere! Two small notes, the sofa bed is a tiny twin that roles out onto the floor below the couch and isn't comfortable! The other note is the poor breakfast situation, though I'll let that slide as they would usually have a full one! Overall, after a weak introduction to the Springhill Suites brand by there West Warwick,RI location, I'm happy to say that this one went above and beyond my expectations and I'd be more than happy to come back here, or to another Springhill Suites property!

General Mgr Holly House was rude and inconsiderate, highly suggest finding another Marriot hotel with 3-4 miles of this one.

Great ice-cold beers, pizza, more. Playground! Indoor and outdoor seating…read more We were in town for a wedding, and we ate at MadTree Parks & Rec several times (May 2026). Our host was able to make reservations for seating areas for large numbers of people, so once we had two areas of a dozen or more, and a couple other times we had one area of that size. This flexibility was a big plus because we could only guess at how many would make it each time. We had ice-cold beers of every description, including IPAs, hazys, and other local crafts. I can't name them all, and some drafts aren on the printed menu, bu5 8 kniw we had Psychopathy, a flavorful IPA, and Seeing Colors Tropical IPA, with a sweeter / hazy profile. Dont miss their cocktails! We loved the S'More Espresso Martini: vodka, chocolate liqueur, coffee tiqueur, and espresso :-) So much yum! And we ordered various pizzas. Our favorite was the Scenic Supreme (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, red onions, green peppers, black olives) and the Vista Veggie (about the same without the meats). I also saw friends devouring Caprese Canyon (olive oil, minced garlic, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, roma tomatoes, balsamic drizzle). And of course regular pepperoni. Tasty crust, tasty red sauce, (you could get white sauce), generous toppings. We got the large sizes, which were enough for at least four people per pie. Sandwich-wise, the most popular was the Cuban Reuben: marble rye, corned beef, ham, swiss cheese, sauerkraut, dill pickle, and Russian dressing. It's the added ham and pickles that move it toward a Cuban sandwich. Well-stacked, hot, and flavorful. For local flavor, the Goetta sandwich: that flavorful Cincinnati oat-pork hash, with candied bacon, american cheese, pickled jalapeños, lettuce, and ranch. Here and there we shared Buffalo fried-Cauliflower with celery and ranch on the side. This was. Not as spicy as it could be. But if you're going to eat cauliflower, this is tasty approach. We like the tangy Fried Pickle Spears better, served with lightly-spicy chipotle ranch. And we added some fresh crunchy Caesar salads, too, and and amazing pecan, apple, blue cheese, cranberry salad! So many candied pecans! Somehow, the servers kept up with an erratic flow of orders from different groups, keeping track on portable devices, so it was easy for each group to settle their own bill as-needed. It may not sound like much, but it was impressively smooth and error-free. And the staff remained helpful, and cheerful throughout. They built a large playgroup area with slides and climbers and more. Inside there's a large play camper that we spent a lot of time in, too! This is a great place for fresh-air dining, for large groups, and especially for kids. We lived the food and drink. Lots of wonderful leftovers, especially those huge pizzas!

A working farm and store, open to public tours and events…read more We attended a wedding reception at Gorman Heritage Farm just north of Cincinnati, and we loved the farm! There are animals to visit and a small store with eggs, honey, produce, pasture-raised chicken, other local foods, fresh-cut flowers, and various books, clothing, and merchandise. For our event, they put up a huge tent, so we had breezy shaded dining. This was next to another covered structure, for a breezy shaded dance-floor. And there was a food-truck bar as well. In all, a clever use of their space for a fun comfortable event. We had access to their farm for self-tours, and i think there were guided tours and feedings, too, but we walked ourselves among and petted and brushed and fed the humped mini "zebu" steer, non-wooly Katahdin sheep, goats, mini horses, a mini donkey, mules, about six of rabbits of different kinds, and chickens. And beehives! We were there for a special event. The Gorman Heritage Farm is open to the public Mon-Sat for under $8 per person. Come see fun farm animals and products!

I am sure the weekend has a different experience but there weren't many animals to see besides chickens, no snacks or drinks (from what I saw) and just not a lot to do! We did get to pick sunflowers which was fun.

The Centennial Barn - The view inside of the church next to the barn

    The Centennial Barn

This place is GORGEOUS! I had actually been to this facility for a YELP event years ago not even…read morerealizing that it is connected to a church. The parish that the Centennial Barn is connected to is a small Catholic parish that really does try to help the needy while serving their congregation. They even take in older people who are not able to take care of themselves. The Centennial Barn is actually a ministry of the church, as it brings in money to help support the overall budget of the parish. However, you don't have to be a part of the church to rent it for a function or even a wedding. The inside of the barn is really cool! It has strung white lights all over the inside, as well as white trim and big red doors that give the barn a classy but country feel. There are bathrooms on the first floor, as well as the second. There are stairs to the second floor with several rooms off of the main level that provide spots to have people dancing or serve food. The backyard of the barn is open with some room outside to have a live band or even some dancing. There is a cemetery in the back of the property.... but it is not really that noticeable. It doesn't take away from the feel of the barn -- but it is something to note.

Enjoyed the barn as part of a friend's wedding reception…read more The accommodations were fine, but the floor plan forced the reception to be a little bit disjointed. The band had to set up downstairs by the dance floor. The bar, drinks, and gift table were also situated on the lower level. The guests were located upstairs. A few of the tables were in a different room than the wedding party which is not ideal since those tables could not see the wedding party. The food was also served in a different room. I actually kind of liked being able to lean on the railing upstairs while gazing down on the band and the dance floor. So, I can't say I really had a problem with the setup but I could see where not everyone would choose this option. There was also a nice patio out back that many enjoyed. It was a nice night, it was a little quiter and easier to chat with people than it would have been if we had been confined indoors. The place was nice, the service was fine, but I was a little disappointed that because of the cleanup process many of the wedding party could not go out after the reception.
