We chose this spot based off its location to the Reds stadium. Check in and check out process was a breeze and Xaviea(spelling) was a big help and explained everything. Breakfast was provided which is always a plus. The only bad thing was that when they ran out of an item, they didn't restock or add more. For example, they had a set amount of waffles out. They were all gone by 830 and no more was supplied. Breakfast goes until 10. Rooms were good, only 2 towels were provided though so we did have to ask for more since there were 4 of us in a room. They do charge for parking which I found ridiculous Overall the experience was good

    The bathroom without the toilet

Location was good in that it wasn't downtown, but downtown is only a 6 minute drive or rideshare away. The pool was heated and the area was steamy as soon as you walked in. Pool ranged from 3'6" to 4'9". There was no clock in the pool area so you had no idea how long you were down there unless you took your phone or had a watch, and there was loud music playing to make it fun. The bathroom was split, and the mirror in the toilet one was useless since it was on each wall in the corner and you couldn't look directly into it. But the shower sink had all the counter space and an anti fogging mirror which was great. There were weird, dirty jets in the shower that I didn't understand but you didn't have to use them. Parking was $10 according to a sign on the check-in desk, but they don't verbally say it and just hand you a pass for your car and charge a higher hold on your card. Breakfast had different options to mix into oatmeal like pumpkin seeds, but the rest was standard. They said it would go until 930 but there was a large tour group and it was open later. They also said the bar was open 5 to 530, which seemed like a narrow window but I guess it works for them.

I booked a King Suites. The room was very large and efficient. I love the separate rooms for the toilet and shower, both with sinks. There was a wall unit with the fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The tv was huge and swiveled so you can see it from the couch and bed. The remote was in a sealed bag, and there was a sticker on the outside of the room door. I felt like I was walking into a crime scene Maybe I need to watch Law and Order less. The check in was quick and all the staff I encountered were friendly and accommodating. The room was quiet except for a few people who were never taught not to slam doors in the middle of the night The only issues I had were a lack of a shuttle to the train or airport. There is nothing to walk to and the food delivery didn't give many choices. The hotel had no vending machines and only stocked a bare minimum of food to purchase, as well as no healthy snacks and no diet drinks except coke. The grab and go was pretty bad, I got a bag with a mealy apple, a piece of very stale marble cake and a drink. All the cold cereal was high in sugar. A bowl of regular Cheerios would have been fine Food aside, it was beautiful hotel with a very friendly staff. I would stay here again.

Over good experience; room can sleep 6 because the sofa sleeper sleeps 2 and there are 2 double beds. Like the fact that the toilet was separate from the shower. Minor issues were the lighting in the restrooms when putting on make up and there were no towel racks to fold your rags/towels on after showering.

    Mold and dirt on floor

My daughter planned a getaway with family and rented two suites from this location for our granddaughters 2nd birthday weekend. Family flew in from Florida and the rest all came from Indiana. We arrived on Friday and as soon as we walked in the rooms we noticed how dirty everything was. Coffee spilled on coffee bar and window sill. I thought nothing of it because I also understand that times are tough and staffing is sparse. But what I noticed most was the air was set on 68°, but it was very warm in the room. As the day went by, I started noticing other things wrong. The fridge was completely iced over, with no room to store food in it, the ice bucket had something sticky inside which was disgusting. The shower liner was covered with mold and the shower floor was also covered in dirt and mold. The first night, the family went to hard rock while my daughter and I stayed back with the littles. The air in my room completely turned off and no longer was there any air circulation. I called down to front desk and let them know. The receptionist arrived and pushed the thermostat button somehow getting the fan to turn back on and said it should cool down shortly. It never did. This was Friday night. There were 6 people staying in a suite and we were miserable. The next day, we stopped at front desk to complain and said they needed to do something. They said they would check as we were leaving to go out to enjoy the city for the day. My husband stayed back and overheard the maintenance man say the chillers were down and there was nothing they could do, they knew they were down but couldn't get anyone out to repair. My husband went back to room, while we were in car to use bathroom, and while he was in there the maintenance man showed up to the room, opened the door unknowing my husband was in there and says "Yeah, these rooms aren't going to be fixed, the chillers are down." Shut the door and left. Upon return later that evening, I went to front desk again, and complained. Asked for fans or something and was told there was no fans available but we could bring our own if we would like. I asked if my daughter was going to be compensated and they said that was beyond their control. Later that evening, a letter was shoved under our door stating they were in a "transition " period with weather (It was 29° that day, mid February) and the rooms may be a little warmer than normal but they appreciate our patience. Needless to say that evening, we were once again miserable and checked out as soon as possible the next morning to get out of there. I have never had such an horrible experience and don't ever suggest going to this location again. Loved Cincinnati and will definitely be back, but not this hotel!!!

Visible dirt clearly telling us they didn't bother vacuuming.

My Reviews have begun: Disgusting. Miserable. Embarrassing. I brought my my family here for my daughters 2nd birthday this last weekend and was absolutely blown away at the conditions our rooms were upon walking in. Coffee spills are over coffee bar and window sill. Staff didn't even bother wiping up. Soap already opened with dirt residue on it. Freaking disgusting. Fragrant red product spilled all over comforters (smelled like cough medicine?) which tells me they didn't even bother changing the beds. Are you KIDDING me?!? Not vacuumed - my 2 year old picked up an almond off the floor to eat it!!! Handprints all over the counters and frosted glass, I guess COVID isn't too big of a deal to this company because that also tells me they didn't bother sanitizing commonly touched areas??? White stains and clumps of hair all over the couch. Again, absolutely DISGUSTING. Large amount of MOLD on the shower curtain, visible dirt and mold all throughout grout and corners of the bathrooms. We couldn't even use our fridge because it was frozen with chunks of ice. So no storing leftovers or drinks for my daughter. But the worst part? No AC. None!!!! We had to sleep naked, because we were MISERABLE!!! We brought this to their attention and they sent someone up who just pressed a button on the thermostat then left. No words, no communication, nothing. We complained a second time and they told us the "chillers were down". After over 24 hours with no AC and them doing absolutely nothing to make it right, we found a letter thrown under our door that portrayed that they were in a "transition period" where they were doing maintenance on the AC to make sure it was in "tip too shape" and it would be "warmer than normal" Absolute BULLSHIT! They didn't mention that to us the first 2 times we brought it to their attention. They acted like they had no clue why it would be down, and as mentioned above - even tried to come up and "fix" it? My guess is that enough people started to complain that they had to come up with an excuse so they wouldn't have to refund everyone. I spent $900+ on 2 suites for my family, I was so freaking EMBARASSED to stay here. Everyone was miserable and so were so many other families that we heard come down and complain about the AC. So, between the AC and the HALF ASSED cleaning/SANITATION that this company is responsible for taking care of and how their staff handled our specific issues, I will never be staying at another Marriott. This company clearly does not value their guests time, money or safety. If I could give this Review a negative score, it would be -1000. Shame on you Marriott!

I found a blood spot on our sheets upon opening them, pretty nasty will never stay here again. Asked the front desk to change the sheets as we had already unpacked. Said they could not and said come down and I will get you a new room. Front desk told me take anything you want from the market and we will comp breakfast tommorrow. All is well for the night. Morning comes and we go down to get coffee and yogurt for breakfast and the employee serving breakfast has no idea what we are talking about. Honesty I do not really care about the breakfast that much it was the principle of the whole thing. So a talk to the manager Steve and he said that there is no way they will do that. Even says that was not that bad, he has seen worse here without ever looking at the picture, all he would of given us is a couple bottles of water. Also says it was a stain from bleach. I dont know about you but bleach does not make red stains on white sheet. I dont think he even believed me. I even offered to go up I to the room and show him our old room if he would let me to prove it. I will admit I was pissed at this point, and was raising my voice but I do not like being lied too which is what got me fired up.

What a great visit in a great hotel! Having just had our tires slashed outside of a bar in Florida, we needed to rest and relax. From the moment we checked-in, my weary band of minstrels were able to let the tumultuous day and a half fade away. Our beds were very comfortable, and our room had a great desk/work area, and a very comfortable couch. The pool and fitness center were in great condition. The lobby had a nice looking bar, and it looked fresh and modern. We had a great view from the 5th floor. This hotel is close to hospitals and downtown Cincinnati.

Normally, I find hotel food is just okay and nothing special, but Coppin's was a pleasant surprise. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess, and our equally pleasant server quickly brought menus and asked what we would like to drink. When it was my turn, I happily ordered Coppin's Old Fashioned. I was the odd man out because everyone else ordered the Spring Manhattan. Judging by how quickly everyone's drinks disappeared, I'd say they were all very tasty. I was a little unsure about mine at first, so to make sure the quality and taste were consistent, I ordered a second, and it definitely was not a mistake. I ordered the B+G biscuits (which are made by hand according to server in the hotel) and gravy with an extra egg. Others at the table chose a variety of dishes, including the CVG, Cobb Salad, Bagel and Lox, and several other selections. Based on the clean plates all around the table, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. My wife ordered a sample of banana bread, and I was fortunate enough to snag a small bite, it was excellent. After we had all finished, everyone agreed that my niece had made an excellent choice for her graduation celebration brunch. As my wife and I made our way back to Louisville, we both commented that we would definitely return the next time we were in Covington.

I ended up being in the North Building and cracked up when I walked into my room and saw I was in one of the Lightwell Lofts (a few of us ended up in them by chance, guess they included them in our room block lol). While the room was super cool and beautiful, there was a lot to be desired. After taking a million photos of the gorgeous room, I quickly realized a major flaw - the bedroom is upstairs, the bathroom is downstairs, and the staircase between the two is a crazy narrow spiral staircase. As someone that gets up to pee in the middle of the night, having to traverse the spiral stairs was terrifying lol. One of my coworkers actually swapped with someone who had a "normal" room because he was worried about falling down the stairs. My downstairs tv wouldn't turn on. I fiddled with the remote a bit, tried rearranging the batteries, but couldn't turn it on. I used the ipad in the room to put in a maintenance request, but no one came. I figured I would just let the front desk know when I headed out to dinner that night. Hours later, the front desk calls me to see if anyone had come to fix the tv - they hadn't. The girl was very nice and apologetic, she said I sent the request in the middle of a shift change and someone had accidentally marked it as complete. So she said someone would be right up, and he did come up. Handed me a handwritten note and a $25 coupon for Coppin's which was totally unexpected and a very nice gesture. Turned out, he knew exactly what the problem was - he said the remote was broken and he was supposed to swap it out but forgot. Gave me a new remote and all was good. He also mentioned there is a second remote upstairs for that tv. After he left, I went to look for it - there was no second remote. We held our meetings in the Scheper Room, which was also beautiful. The room was absolutely freezing the first day and I'm someone that prefers it a touch colder and was uncomfortable. We had to get them to update the thermostat and then in the afternoon it was way too hot. We had food brought in from the hotel and it was all fine, nothing super memorable. There was soup at lunch but the sign didn't even say what it was - just "chef's choice." The Italian hoagies were way too big and needed to be cut in half, I couldn't even finish half of one. The salad with fruit/pecans/etc was my favorite though. They had the completely wrong password on the tables for the Wifi but thankfully we figured it out quickly that we just had to use the room password. The second day for breakfast, there was yogurt on the menu and even on the sign with all the food - but there was no yogurt. Some of my coworkers were specifically asking for yogurt so we had to request it directly because it was included and paid for. Box lunches to take to go on the second day which were fine, I had the chicken caesar salad wrap. Housekeeping didn't come to service my room until 5pm when I was in there getting ready for dinner, so I was not able to get the room serviced. Just asked them for some more coffee. My conditioner in the shower was empty but I didn't bother reporting it after the tv issue and I had my own conditioner with me, so used that. The lotion at the sink was so thick that I could not get it out of the bottle at all, I had to use q-tips to get it out (it was nice quality, just kinda useless if you can't get it out of the bottle lol). Great local offerings on the mini bar and in the fridge. My coworkers and I got a kick out of the "intimacy kits" because we were on a business trip haha. The Magic 8 ball was fun, I loved the conversation cards even though I just read a few of them to myself haha. Even with the bedroom upstairs, it was nice to have the big double closet in the bathroom hallway so I really was just in the loft to sleep and kept all my stuff downstairs. The location is great, lots of fun stuff right nearby. The courtyard is lovely. I would say this is a solid 3.5 stars but since we can't give half stars, I'll give it a 4 because the staff was overall very nice and quickly fixed any issues, just a little annoying that we had any issues at all.

Neighborhood could be sketchy at night. We're from Detroit area so NBD to us for frame of reference. Our room was very very clean, unlike some of the other reviews I've read about this location. The beds were very comfortable. One of the reasons I like choice hotels. I've always slept well in their bed's because they're on the softer side with soft pillows and sheets. There was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. And 2 complimentary water bottles. The only reason I don't give 4 stars is when I happen to look in the microwave there was an ingrained bug imprint on the side. I've never seen that before in my life!!! I'm sure those micro waves cost less than 30 bucks! Luckily we didn't need to heat anything and I happen to see it in the morning when actually marveling how clean the room was. The microwave was clean despite the bug impression. Having been a cleaning lady through college and a nurse now. I know if I worked there and did that good of a job cleaning I would throw that microwave out! So whoever deals with that? Lost a star on me. Overall I'd stay there again. Probably not make a vacation out of it. But, it suited our purpose for a fun night. And we slept well. There was an indoor pool that looked nice. We didn't use it. I would only give 5 stars for above and beyond. We've slept in hotels in Corbin that I wouldn't give 1 star to because they were so dirty as we were passing through that are very near the Radisson. We would definitely stay at the Raddison again despite the picture I'll post.

We had an amazing stay at this IHG hotel for one night in early May, 2023…read more -- Our room, which was a king suite with "additional living space", was gigantic and sleeps 4. It was actually two separate large rooms -- one was the bedroom with a king bed and the other a sitting room with a pullout couch and a 43" flat screen tv and WiFi. There was a separate area that included a microwave, small fridge, coffee machine, etc. Also, a doored closet for your coats. -- The suite, including bathroom, was modern and very clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and basic toiletries were provided. -- Before arrival, we were concerned that the rooms might be noisy due the hotel's proximity to the bridge. This turned out to be unfounded as we could barely hear the bridge traffic. -- The hotel has a swimming room and on-site fitness room that we didn't use. -- The free breakfast had a huge variety of hot (eggs, sausages, oatmeal, pancakes) and cold (cereals, pastries, yogurt, fresh fruits) options, as well as different options for coffees, teas, and hot chocolate. Offerings were replenished regularly. -- Location is good for driving access to the Cincinnati riverfront area. (For instance, the Underground Railroad Museum is only about 5 minutes by car across the bridge). -- There was free parking. We parked in the lot behind the hotel, from which there was key-controlled access to the hotel. A few additional things worth noting. -- The hotel is on the Ohio River, and its name includes the term "Riverfront." However, there wasn't easy walking access to the river, nor did we have a river view. -- Upon our first approach to the hotel, we found that it was adjacent to two liquor stores -- and what we thought was hotel parking was actually parking for one of the busy liquor stores.

I've stayed at many luxury five-star hotels, but this place left a much stronger impression on me than most of them. The hotel has a warm, inviting ambiance, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond. If you're looking for a place to stay, look no further. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

On the plus sign, valet, front desk, and all personnel are customer focused. Building was renovated in the past 10 years, and all details are lovely. Extremely clean. Rooms are large and very luxe. Room service was perfect in every way. So why not 5 stars? We love the rooftop bar and that played a huge roll in getting us here. But all three nights we were here it was closed for private events. I hope the events are making them a lot of money, because it can cut into their basic customer base. I will be checking to see if the rooftop is open before booking here in the future. One other small complaint...our room was never serviced until late afternoon when we needed to get ready for dinner. Turn down service (including chocolates) on first day only. That made me sad.
