Watch out for hotel scams!
Samphors C.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take photos before you leave this place! The workers there destroyed the room because I did not have cash to tip them. Their operations manager Jenny Parchelli sent me an email stating that I am charged $900 worth damages. I tried calling the hotel & emailing her back but she refused to respond or return any of my calls. As you can see in the pictures below, the coffee & milk that was on the bed did not soak in. So you can tell it was freshly poured onto the bed. They said the phone, clock & blowdryer were broken. They threw food on the ground saying that it left a stain. This hotel is the reason I am cautious about leaving any hotel from now on without taking pictures. I have never experienced something like this. SMH. THIS HOTEL IS A SCAM! BEWARE!!

I had a great stay at this hotel! Went for a fun weekend and it was closed to everything! Hotel breakfast was packed but was pretty good!

offset TV location from the sofa

Go stay at the Hilton Garden a block away instead.......the hotel is nice and contemporary, but their service lacks. we visit Burbank every thanksgiving for dinner at my brother in laws. we've stayed at hotels in Glendale and Burbank and we decided to give Springfield a try. at check in the receptionist already had a "better than you attitude". I don't know if she doesn't like her job or is a bitter struggling actress waiting for her big break but she acted like she didn't want to be there. the parking situation is horrible, you either park on the street or pay to park in the garage. I wouldn't mind paying for garage parking, but this parking garage is totally unsecured, no arm gate or attendant, just wide open(see my picture), anybody can walk into the garage from the street and vandalize your car and with no attendant around I don't know if they enforce which cars paid for parking and which didn't. the room we stayed in was cozy and clean, however the layout was odd. the biggest thing that stood out was the only TV in the room is offset from the bed. you can't lay in bed and watch TV comfortably. you could lay in bed and turn you head around 45 degrees or you could lay on the sofa and turn you head 45 degrees in the other direction and watch TV(see my picture), be prepared to hurt your neck or bring an iPad. we went down to the dining area for breakfast and where told that they had stopped serving breakfast and we would have to wait until the restaurant opened, so we decided to walk down the block to the restaurant inside the Hilton Garden and eat over there. when we got home my wife realized her AirPods where missing, she tracked them in her app to the hotel room, called the front desk to ask if you would retrieve them and mail them back to her and of course she you pay the incurred cost. She was called back and told that nothing was found, my wife told her that her GPS tracking was in real time and showing in the room, again she insisted that nothing was found once and nothing else was going to be done about it. if management or corporate read this review, I hope that something is done about the lack of hospitality at this hotel. for the prices and fees you are asked to pay, basic guest courtesy shouldn't be asked for.

We stayed here for 2 nights due to our normal hotel being unavailable. When we arrived the front desk staff was very nice and helpful. We stayed in room 227 which was a pool view 2 queen and I was actually kind of appalled by the state of it. There was weird vibrating of the building, no clue what was going on there. We have stayed in Springhills many times (my husband is Marriott Platinum Elite) and unfortunately this one just didn't feel up to par when it came to rooms. First, the couch was a pull out and not a twin bed trundle like most are at SpringHill and it was very uncomfortable. In addition to this the couch was filthy and stained and the cushions were pretty worn. We did tell the front desk about the stains because we wanted to make sure we were not charged for it. Their response was "we do our best", I guess not their fault but definitely not doing their best when the couch looks like that. Next there were smears on the wall by the sliding door both inside and outside. No clue what these mystery smears were but its was really gross. Finally our AC didn't work. This was what eventually got us moved to a different room. Our new room was better; working AC, no mystery smears, slightly stained couch but it was still pretty worn and uncomfortable. TV in the new room was basically unusable as there was such a delay between it and the remote we just gave up. Water in the sink took forever to drain when washing hands/brushing teeth. The queen beds were also pretty uncomfortable but tolerable. Amenities were nice - they have some fun yard games such as checkers, connect 4, Jenga, etc a fire pit and lots of comfortable seating on the Pool level. The pool was small but fine on a weekday when not many people were there. There was also a hot tub and I liked that there were 3 gate entrances to the pool. Beautiful jasmine along the wall that made the whole deck smell amazing in the evening. Our room had a slider door to the deck area and we spent a lot of time out there. I was told there were screens in the past on the sliders but none of them had them now. The on site bar is only open 5-10pm. Breakfast was just ok. Wish they had a waffle station and more drink options. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, oatmeal, and various breads. Housekeeping staff was very very nice, polite, and helpful at all times. Overall: I don't think we will book here again unless we're really hard up for a room that can accommodate our family of 5.

What I like about SpringHill Suites is their location. One is a short distance from Downtown. Burbank, Bob Hope Airport, Universal Studios Hollywood, Warner Bros., Walt Disney, and Nickelodeon Studios. The hotel features suites which have swivel Smart TVs, workstations, and relaxing views of the mountainside. The hotel provides includes complimentary breakfast buffet along with a beautiful designed outdoor patio and swimming pool. Also, their Nineteen26 Bar & Lounge opens after 5pm where one can relax after a long day. The rooms are clean and well maintain and their overall staff is wonderful. We unfortunately were in Burbank when the temperatures were extremely hot, so our choice of activities limited.

The perfect place for a family meeting. The location is great and the hotel was super clean. The suite was big enough for two of us. We did have a squeaky toilet which we had to keep taking off the lid and turning a plastic screw to stop it. The room location was not the best. It was second floor near the elevators so it was noisy outside our door. Hence the 4 star review, but the staff, common areas and details\amenities were just what we needed. Free breakfast was available (hot foods changed daily) and the bar was just enough to keep us inside and conversation going. Arika in the bar was fantastic and when we brought in food, she gave us water, utensils and anything else we needed. Bonus was the hot chocolate bar at night in the lobby with all kinds of add-ins. So many private places to sit and chat, even outside since the outside pool area is huge. There's an indoor parking garage for a daily fee. There's a great area to shop down the street and grocery and coffee the other direction.

Do they accept cats? I have two.

How is the parking? Is it safe and secure?

The parking is under the hotel. We had no issues but we were also in mini-van rental so not an exciting car.

If you are Asian, I strongly recommend you do not stay here. We arrived after a long trip with two young kids, completely exhausted -- the kind of exhaustion where you can barely stand or walk. We checked in and went up to our assigned room on the 3rd floor... only to find that someone was already inside the room. Let that sink in. We literally opened the door and found another guest already occupying it. That is not just unacceptable -- it is a serious safety issue. We went back downstairs, shocked and frustrated. While we were standing there waiting, the front desk guy was checking in another guest and was extremely friendly to her, smiling and handing her a bag of goodies -- while completely ignoring us, even though we were clearly waiting and had just reported a major issue. Then another staff member came over -- rude, cold, and with zero apology -- and simply clicked around on the computer and handed us a new room key like we were the problem. The replacement room was facing the freeway, and the noise was unbearable. We could not sleep at all. Between the dangerous room assignment, the complete lack of professionalism, and the blatant discriminatory behavior, this hotel deserves zero stars. I have stayed in many hotels -- this was by far the most disrespectful and disturbing experience. Avoid this place.

Another aspect we appreciated -- warm, welcoming service at check-in & at the end of our stay when stowing our luggage at the bell desk. But, there are a number of reasons I might choose another Burbank hotel on our next visit... The light switch in the bathroom automatically turns on a roaring loud fan & there isn't a way to shut it off. Also an issue is the bathroom were a few tiny flies in the shower (a minor issue since they were gone after we first ran the water.) Due to thin walls and/or old pipes, we could hear upstairs neighbors flushing their toilets when our room was quiet. Bothersome for light sleepers. Clean bedding, but the bed itself was not the especially comfortable or plush. Someone in my party next door reported tossing & turning all night. And since we're being extra nit-picky, I'll throw in Hotel Burbank's slow elevators, for good measure. Parking at the next-door structure is $29.

The clerk wasn't outright rude, but for the first several minutes seemed pretentious, like I wasn't good enough to stay there. He didn't introduce himself or ask my name; I introduced myself and asked his name after check-in, and he warmed up a bit. It felt like I'd caught him doing something wrong or arrived before he was ready. I had to ask multiple questions because he didn't offer information or engage. My customer service was on point--his, not so much. I'd been driving all day and was exhausted, wearing very casual clothes, but he felt very judgey. I asked to see the rooms after reading reviews. The first was rundown and not worth the $150 he quoted. He kept going into the back office between questions, implying he was busy or nearly full (there was only one car outside). When I asked to see the other side of the hotel, which had allegedly been updated, he bragged about being fully booked, though I only ever saw three cars. Odd. The second room was just okay, but I was too tired to find another hotel, so I stayed one night. Few things frustrate me more than visible neglect and lack of detail. There were drywall screw heads popping out, scuffed walls, holes, and water-damaged bathroom drywall from a poorly placed glass shower door--crumbling onto the floor. The floor itself was dirty. The outer entry door was peeling badly, shedding bits of clear coating onto the floor and my hands. The blinds appeared to not have been cleaned in months--which should be done regularly. The bed frame was filthy--dust, debris, bits of wrappers and food. It was clearly dirty, with oils, handprints, and dried liquids (I'll leave that to your imagination). The closet doors, off-white, had visible hand grime. The disinfectant wipes I used were brown - yuck. The lamp was dusty, an outlet near the bed had a broken metal piece stuck inside, and both the bathroom vent and hair dryer were caked with dust. The dryer filter hadn't been cleaned in ages. The countertop above the mini fridge was detaching, the bathroom shelf was decaying, and the shower glass hadn't been cleaned. The creamy drip marks on the wall--hopefully conditioner or soap--remained, and the grout was mold-stained. A simple bleach spray would've fixed it. The shower water pressure was awful, with calcification that needs vinegar soaking. It also leaked from the stem. Meanwhile, the sink had too much pressure. The cleaning staff were wonderful--always offering help. The issues here clearly stem from management, not staff. I realize this isn't a four-star hotel and that my standards are higher than average. Having worked in property management and emergency response, I've been in many homes across all conditions and know what "clean" should look like. I attached photos (which don't even capture all of it) so others can decide for themselves. Public beds and showers should be cleaned frequently so dust, germs, and bugs don't build up. The initial clerk did warm up by the end, and wasn't outright rude, just awkward and pretentious at first. When I checked out, a different man was working. He was extremely pushy, insisting I stay longer despite me saying I had to get back on the road. Then he handed me a clipboard and said it was mandatory to fill out--a sheet listing my name, room number, and space for comments, stacked under previous guests' notes. I told him I'd review the hotel online instead. He insisted I fill in each section, so under "comments" I wrote "review on Yelp." Other than being pushy, he was friendly--but it was an annoying end to a stay that wasn't worth the cost. Not the worst stay I've had, but definitely not one I'd repeat.

Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City Shows Zero Courtesy to Hilton Diamond Members, Returning Guests,…read moreand Families With Disabilities As a Hilton Diamond member, I am honestly shocked and deeply disappointed by the complete lack of humanity, compassion, and basic courtesy shown by Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City. After years of using Hilton properties, including staying at this hotel in the past, we found ourselves in a difficult situation due to a flight delay. We only needed a very small favor: to hold one bag for about 2 hours so we could take our daughter to Universal CityWalk to buy something before heading to the airport. Instead of showing even the smallest amount of empathy or understanding, we were treated as if helping a family with a disability-related situation was some kind of burden. The assistant to the office manager, Ariel Larios, displayed behavior that honestly felt far below the level of basic human decency and hospitality that anyone would expect from a Hilton property. There was no patience, no compassion, no willingness to help, and no effort whatsoever to understand the situation. The entire interaction felt cold, dismissive, and focused only on extracting money rather than helping people in need for a simple 2-hour request. What made this even more disturbing: * We are Hilton Diamond members * We stayed at this hotel in previous years * We clearly explained the disability-related difficulty * We only needed temporary short-term assistance * There is no clearly disclosed written policy online stating that short-term luggage assistance is unavailable unless you purchase a room Rather than showing courtesy or appreciation for years of loyalty to Hilton, we were effectively pushed into paying around $220 for a full room simply to receive basic luggage assistance for 2 hours. This experience made it feel like Hilton Diamond status means absolutely nothing at this property unless you are actively spending more money that exact moment. Returning customers, families with disabilities, and even basic human kindness appeared completely irrelevant. Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City should be ashamed that a simple request for temporary help turned into such a cold and humiliating experience.
