I had attended the 90th birthday party of a friend and neighbor here. And, I must say that the service was very good. Jodee, the Bartenderette was very professional, and very nice. Though, I was able to get a drink immediately, I had to wait a bit for her cash box to be delivered, so she could break a twenty. However, I found it quite amusing that when I asked for an Imported Beer with about 5% alcohol, I was given a Samuel Adams Boston Lager. I did find the beer to be quite good. The Banquet staff was professional, courteous, and attentive, without being overbearing. The meal was very good. The rolls were served warm. And, on the first round, the butter was soft enough. The 2nd round of butter, was too cold. But, it melted nicely on the Baked Potato. The salad was a nice mixture of greens, which was fresh. The lettuce was cool and crisp. The meal which consisted of a baked potato, vegetable medley and prime rib was delicious. However, the prime rib was cooked well done. :-o But, it was still very tender. So, I would love to try it again at Medium, or Medium Rare. Also, one end piece, was too salty. But, at least it was just a small portion that was still edible. I believe I'll b3 back to try the Prime Rib again.

This property has a good location (especially for events and races at PIR) and is conveniently located right off of I10. Honestly, this place needs a full remodel and is not in very good condition. We just completed a two night stay on January 1, 2026 and will not be coming back until the hotel gets fully done. For the record, we have stayed at this property previously at least once or twice in the last 5 years and I don't remember it being in quite as bad condition as it is now. We were in room 236. Walls had damage in common areas and the room. Carpet stains galore both in the room and hallways. The bathroom was grubby; the grout looked like it had not been deep cleaned since the hotel opened in 2007 (distinctly possible). Media and charging solutions in the rooms are painfully outdated, especially given how many properties have been updating this recently. Back door did not lock properly to the parking lot which was not confidence inspiring. We skipped the breakfast both days, so no comment there. The Residence Inn nearby is a WAY better place to stay (much newer and nicer), even if it costs a bit more. Neighboring Hilton Garden Inn is also dated, but remember it being in a bit better condition (have not stayed there in at least 2 years iether though).

It's close to everything, which makes getting around incredibly easy. One of my favorite touches is the all-day coffee station with flavored creamers available for guests to help themselves. It's such a simple thing, but it makes you feel genuinely taken care of. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, and overall this is hands-down the best hotel I've stayed in. And that says a lot coming from someone who travels all over the U.S. on a regular basis. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone!

After I was told this wasn't an option, I said no problem I'll see you tonight. Without my approval, the hotel canceled my reservation and charged me the night stay. I've left multiple messages with the manger requesting an explanation and haven't received a call back in two weeks. I fully understand the cancellation policy however feel a return call isn't too much to ask for. Rooms are fine but I'll be staying somewhere else from now on.

Rooms can be located very far away but the staff does have golf carts to shuttle around guests. I never did take them up on their offer, opting instead to enjoy a stroll around the grounds. I was here for a conference and the services and food were all excellent. Rooms are bigger than normal and the main lobby has great atmosphere and tucked away corners. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is great. A nice respite from the normal hustle and bustle these days!
