My fiancee and I recently stayed in the presidential suite at Comfort Inn and Suites. It was a wonderful getaway from the family. Bonnie at the front desk was so friendly that we walked out of there making a new friend. My fiancee has congestive heart failure and diabetes so I just wanted some time alone with him to discuss end of life things so it was a hard time for me but the staff was so friendly and the room was so clean. First time traveling with a pet and first experience with a pet friendly room. Stayed here twice in a week. Pleasantly surprised and would stay here again. At check in they give pets a cute note (dos and donts for the humans) and a dog treat. This hotel has green space to walk the puppers. The facility overall appeared well maintained. The room was clean and spacious. The first room had a bit of a funky smell and only recommendation would be switching out the carpet for wood floors... it would help decrease the odor. But the second time, the room across the hall was odor free. But both rooms were clean. There is a decent small fitness center and a working clean pool and hot tub. They serve breakfast at 6 and put out a decent spread with options. Check in was easy and service was friendly. Will stay there again. read more

I explained to her I have bladder control issues And it's quicker for me to use the lobby restroom and she was saying I needed to rent the business center to use the lobby restroom... I know that's not true because I've stayed in other comfort suites before... I'm not staying at a place where the receptionist won't even let me use the restroom in the comfort of my own hotel. For the price yes it's a great place to stay if you are in the area. This is our second time at this hotel as we have family here. We stayed 4 nights this trip. Room 322. Beware. This has a connecting door to a handicapped room that will most likely have a large family. We were awakened at 6:00am by screaming toddler and crying baby. Parents were loud and yelling. Nightmare! I went to front desk and they were sympathetic. Knowing this room was not for us they moved us down the hall. Best move as after that didn't hear a peep! Across the hall a family traveling with a barking dog but only heard in the morning. This hotel does an excellent job at maintaining cleanliness. Always moping floors and when someone spills something they are on it. Lots of traffic in this hotel over the four days we stayed. Breakfast was decent but don't expect the Ritz. It's basic and gets the job done. One thing I wish they had tea other than Lipton. Many other hotels in this price point have Tazo tea or even Twinings. I was really craving English Breakfast but oh well. Next time I will bring my tea from home. Beds were cozy and comfortable. It's warm even in the winter so we had the ac unit running. It's loud but pick your battles. I've stayed at hotels with louder units. We used the pool area with heated jacuzzi. Very nice and clean. Fun. Also visited the small gym which was always empty. Nice to fill water bottles there too. Most likely will return as the price is right and it's clean. Would recommend. read more

Called the cops on me for sitting in my car at 6am before work. Parked near the hotel since there is light and I'm a young girl alone at 6am. No no parking sign where I was. They decided instead of politely asking me to leave or placing a note on my car no warning nothing they just called the cops on me. Felt super extreme especially when I'm just trying to sit somewhere safe before work and this clearly isn't a safe establishment. Said it was "sketchy I had headlights on". It's dark out it's kind of the law. Would never recommend this place to anyone due to the staff being incompetent and to scared to some ask a teen to move 20ft to the parking spots that are still right next to the hotel. The night audit lady & the front desk lady with the jewelry & pretty nails was very delightful she is awesome... But the manager was horrible and the other staff very rude. When a DO NOT DISTURB SIGN IS ON THE DOOR ITS THERE FOR A REASON. I got DNRed for no reason at all. This place needs to find better people to run this place. My privacy was invaded and I was accused of smoking Mary Jane in the room which was false. Don't waste your time here. They need to get new people to run this place. read more

After a 20+ hr roadtrip, I walked in the evening of 12/28 and encountered a really unhappy looking front desk lady. Being so exhausted & tired, I couldve snapped, but decided that maybe she was having the same exhausting day as me...by the end of our interaction, she managed to look a little happier...still, should always welcome guests in with a smile, esp those who are being nice, despite how tired & exhausted they are. I did request top floor to try and avoid noise, since I was so tired & was told they werent putting guest on the 3rd floor, because of some carpet installation work. That was a lie, the next day, there was a family in the breakfast lobby & they said they were on the 3rd floor. Smfh. A simple no, wouldve been okay. We got the room in front of the opening on the second floor, looking down to the first floor & it is noisy. If kids yell/scream downstairs, you'll hear it, people laugh downstairs, you'll hear it, THE FRONTDESK PHONE RANG ALL THRU THE NIGHT AND WE HEARD it!!! ‍ And it kept ringing and ringing without anyone answering it!! It's noisy until 10-11pm then it'll get quiet. I did LOVE THE ROOOM!! It was super clean, beds & pillows were comfy. A/C worked wonderfully & it had all the beddings for the pullout sofa bed...the last 2 hotels I stayed at on my roadtrip did not have any, so this was a PLUS! The BREAKFAST was one of the best ones I've had at hotels...coffee was decent too. There is so much to choose from. At checkout on 12/30 the two working your morning shift were super AWESOME! Soo welcoming & were so down to Earth. Aside from downs...I really enjoyed this hotel stay the most on this roadtrip. Worst stay in a hotel! Staff was rude stating that my service dog could not come into the pool area. I was also charged for my dog to stay and under the ADA laws they are allowed to charge an extra fee. Learn the laws regarding service animals! Pool area is also unsafe for children one of our boys fell through the skimmer basket and the lid was cracked. read more

My wife and I stayed at the Comfort Suites in Goodyear for almost 2 weeks. We were displaced from our home due to major damage repairs that needed to be done so I wasn't excited at first about the idea of staying in a hotel that long. I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel. The hotel staff at the front desk were so nice to us and very professional. You can see that they take their treatment of the guests very seriously. The hotel was very clean as well which is something you don't always see so that was a nice touch. In my opinion, other hotels need to model their own businesses after this one because of everything they do right. There were 2 gentlemen working near the elevator when we were getting on and they both gave us a friendly greeting. There were a couple of ladies cleaning the rooms and I asked if I could get some extra towels and they were so nice to us and just like the other employees, they asked us how we were doing. My wife mentioned that she went down for breakfast but didn't realize that breakfast was over and when the woman who was doing the breakfast saw my wife, she told my wife to help herself and that it's okay. My wife didn't want to be the person that shows up late, but the worker was so nice to her and let her get what she needed. The breakfast was good by the way. In closing, how could I ask for a better experience? I can't ask for a better experience because we were 100% satisfied with our stay here and although we stayed here due to some unfortunate circumstances, the experience we had made up for it! read more

I did enjoyed my first stay here, the front desk agents I dealt with were professional and welcoming. This is why I booked two more stay while I am back in the area. This second stay, The front desk agent Kim was incredibly disrespectful and rude upon check in and this ruined my whole experience, therefore I cancelled my upcoming 5 night stay at this hotel and I transferred to another hotel in the area. As usual very clean, wonderful receptionist. Room is immaculate, and a comfortable bed awaits. Usb ports on the side stand next to the bed. A phone connection for a land line computer. The toiletries are neatly positioned. A coffee maker and cups with package coffees for brewing. Their is no safe or refridgerater in the room. I checked in five days ago and so far everyday is worse then the one before. The day we checked in the refrigerator in our room didn't work, the WiFi is mostly non existent and now to top it off the A.C. in our room quit working. The front desk sent the maintenance man to look at it and he couldn't fix it so he brought us a fan so the temperature in the room is now 82. The hotel desk says they are booked and don't have any available rooms , I have talked to at least three other couples who are having the same issues. It is cooler in the hallway then in our room This sucks my son's team manager requires us to stay in the same hotel but if this is the level of service I can expect I just will not read more

Other reviews were right, the breakfast is pretty good with alternating hot items during the week. Pool is small but nice. Rooms are exactly as advertised. In room TV is small, bathroom mirror is small. Lighting in room and bathrooms are soft. Gym is kind of a wasted space - the Treadmill is meager and the one-in-all machine is pretty limiting. Would be an instant upgrade if they had a small set of weights, a stretching mat, exercise ball, and some resistance bands. read more

Such a great experience, there was a mix up with our reservations and the desk mgr took care of everything and and we were in our room in minutes. The room was perfect, 2 queen beds , separate bedroom from front room . A tv in @ room. Very clean, full fridge microwave and many more amenities. Their free breakfast was by far the best I have ever had. The staff was super friendly and would do anything to make your stay an experience .cant say enough good things about this place ,would recommend staying here if you are in the area. This is our 2nd time staying here. First time was excellent! This hotel has clean rooms & the entire place is clean which is VERY IMPORTANT to me. Which is why we decided to stay here again. As expected check in was easy & the lady was very friendly. Our room was on the 3rd floor & very clean which makes me happy. However we did encounter 2 things during the night. Our AC/Heater was not working properly so it kept shutting off at night and the room got very hot. So we kept waking up to turn it back on. There was a loud noise coming from the refrigerator &/or our room was next to their central AC unit for the hotel (from what we can tell) & was so loud during the night as well. So we all kept waking up throughout the night. -- Dining area was clean & food was hot & fresh. The kids love the pancake maker. Only wish they had cut up fresh fruit like cantaloupe, watermelon, etc. but they did have apples & bananas. We only stayed 1 night so we mentioned our noise/ac issue with the ladies during check out and they were very gracious & apologized. They offered a small discount which we accepted. I believe that the issues we had will be resolved & I will return because we appreciate the GREAT GUEST SERVICES & the CLEANLINESS of the hotel/room. They're cleaning staff does a great job! This hotel was nice in the beginning, staff seemed nice, room was clean for the most part, beds are uncomfortable but didn't expect much, breakfast was good, location was nice... but my second day I accidentally left my diamond earrings on the night stand and I realized when I was already gone for the day but didn't think anyone would come in the room because it was already after 2pm when we left. I didn't return till almost 11pm to find them missing. I searched to see if the maids put them up somewhere safe but I never found them... I assume they were taken from a maid that cleaned after 2pm when we left which I find odd being how they told me they are usually gone by this time. They were never found or returned. I haven't been contacted by management yet, just by a supervisor who told me the maid said she didn't steal them or see them while cleaning and they "don't have ever have this problem". Great customer service for missing jewelry do they really think a maid or anyone would honestly say "oh yeah I did take them, here they are!" No, that's there job and reputation at risk. I have to continuously follow up and reach out to see what they are going to do which was so far has been nothing. I searched my belongings and room 5 times before checking out even though I know where they were before they magically disappeared. Home now and still nothing. Do not leave valuables anywhere anytime of day, don't assume they won't come in because they will. This is supposed to be a home away from home but don't even chance leaving anything in the room! Funny thing is the police officer knows the supervisors name off the top of her head and gave me suggestions on what to do like this a common thing. Sad! read more

This location is awesome. I'm in town from GA Atlanta. I was not sure what to expect but Comfort Inn exceeded my expectation. My room was fresh and comfortable. I slept well, the guests were courteous which is a big deal because there was some baseball conference with lots of teenage boys. Normally I intermittent fast and do not eat breakfast. But since it's 3 hour time difference my body says it's 12:30pm so I decided to change pace and check out breakfast. Boy was I surprised! It was a fabulous breakfast. I was glad they had paper plates because I wanted to return to my room. Here is my brunch. Don't judge my plate I'm on holiday and a little greedy. We came out here for a quick trip. The outside of the venue was clean and well maintained. It was within close walking distance to a 24 hr Walmart and tons of restaurants. It was crowded or congested considering all the nearby amenities. We got in about 11pm and the guy at the counter was very friendly. We had no issues getting our room. He told us about various things the my offer and we went on our way. Our room was very spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable. They provided extra blankets and sheets in the closet. We didn't need them, but it's nice to know that they were available in the event that we did. In the morning they offered a full breakfast, and it was delicious. Everything was well stocked and clean. There was a great variety- waffles (large and mini), oatmeal, toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, danishes, muffins, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juices, milk, water, tea and coffee. We will use Comfort Suites again and we will definitely return to this location in the future! read more

First off, I'd like to say, when I got to the hotel to check in.... I was exhausted and irritated with my travels for the day. It was getting late and Tiffany was absolutely amazing. She got me checked in quick and fast and really seems to care about my situation. She even gave me a couple of take out menus from local eateries so that I could order some food. The continental breakfast was really good and they changed up the egg selections every day. My favorite was the cheese omelet that looked like a little taco. This hotel is one of the best places to stay when your ever visiting the Goodyear, AZ area! It is literally your home away from home. The moment you walk in to the moment you leave you are treated with the utmost politeness. I've never been to a hotel as clean and crisp as this one. Smiles and hello's from all the staff from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. The rooms are spotless and have that laundry fresh clean scent, you know the smell when you are washing clothes all day and the air is filled the detergent you use that makes you feel refreshed. I love that clean smell! It's a smoke free building so none of those smelly smoking rooms are available. Thank God cause that stale smell is disgusting!! They have a computer room with one computer and they offer free wi-fi which I think is awesome! They also have a gym that has an Elliptical machine, cycle machine, treadmill and a lifting machine which I did utilize. They also offer washers and dryers for your personal use at a cost of $1.25 per load. They offer free breakfast from 630am to 930 am which I'm bummed out about because I didn't get the chance to check it out so I can't say what they offer food wise........sorry! I did get to appreciate the pool area which had a spot with plenty of towels for your use and a place to put used towels when you were done with them. It was 106 degrees out there yesterday so that pool came in handy. It was super clean and sparkling. Very refreshing! I also enjoyed the added comfort in the security of the hotel. You couldn't enter the building without having to put your room key into the door unless you were coming in from the front entrance. That made me feel very safe and secure, being that I had my 2yr old with me I needed to feel that sense of security. The location was perfect there were plenty of food places to eat and also a super walmart across the street. I booked this hotel a week ago when my husband and I decided to make a trip to Tucson and needed a place to stay the night to rest before we were to meet friends so we decided to stay in Goodyear. Found the price for the Comfort Suites a great deal! The check in was effortless. The entire facility was very clean and new looking. It was classy and quiet. Our room was great. I would definitely say this is a four star hotel. The staff friendly, the breakfast buffet was good and the room had a sofa bed, a king bed, a work desk with a business chair, a larger sized refrigerator, a small microwave, a three drawer dresser, a coffee table, a lounge chair, two end tables, alarmed clock, hair dryer and a real closet with double doors, several lamps and was very roomy. This is one of the better stays we have had in a hotel. :) we would for sure stay here again! read more

I really needed to get out of Southern California. I told my wife I wanted to go to Arizona. We decided to go President's Day weekend not thinking that it was also Valentine's Day weekend. We wanted to be spontaneous and just stop wherever we decided to stop. The 1st night of that trip, Saturday night , I wanted to try to make Tucson but I was too tired. We stopped in Goodyear, Az. and tried to get a room at a few different places but it was no go. That is when we realized it was Saturday of Valentine's Day weekend, duh. Then we rolled up on the Comfort inn. My wife went inside and they had a Room. We were not in a position to be picky so she jumped on it This Comfort inn is an older property which I will say is kept up. There were a lot of families and it looked like youth travel sports teams staying there as well. I must add they were pet friendly which workrd for us since we brought the dog. The bummer on that note was that we were only able to get a second floor Room and there's no elevators. The dog doesn't really do stairs well but we made it work The Room itself was nice. The deal with it is that we were paying a premium price because it was Valentine's Day weekend and this is an older property that has been upgraded. It just didn't seem as nice as the Holiday Inn down the street or something on that level. We were told that they had breakfast downstairs near the lobby but we didn't partake in that period there's also a McDonald's and a Black Bear diner just outside the hotel almost on the same lot so we went that way. I must also mention that if you go to the Black Bear and tell them you're staying at Comfort inn you will get 10% off. In conclusion I will say the Room was comfortable and if you can get it for under 100 bucks it would be a value. read more

The sign posted on the bathroom mirror states, "housekeeping service is provided after every 3rd night. to request more frequent service, please contact the front desk before 11am". Though the third night has passed, and per the card, housekeeping should be coming to my room anyhow, I am traveling with a teenage boy and wanted to be certain service would be provided today. I called down to the front desk prior to 11am and was assured housekeeping will be attending to my room. Fast forward to later in the day when I returned to my room, I found that housekeeping never came at all. I called down to the front desk to see why my room was never serviced despite it being past the 3rd day of no service and my call earlier in the day. The woman who answered the phone had extremely poor customer service skills. She kept repeating that I had to have put a card outside of my door in order for housekeeping to come. I've attached an image of the card she was referencing. It states, "If you need any in-room supplies to be restocked on the days you've chosen not to receive housekeeping service, please select from the list below and display this door hanger outside your door by 11am". Since I had in fact requested service, I didn't put the card out. Regardless, the woman continued insisting that it's my responsibility to do so if I wanted housekeeping to come by. She offered no solution, apology, or compensation whatsoever. Incompetent and rude, a shame that I did not catch her name. read more

On our way to Sedona, we stopped here to rest. Darian was awesome on the phone and gave us a discount. The room was clean and spacious. We were four adults, and we had plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was big, clean and handicapped accessible. Free wifi. Their hot breakfast was really good, lots of choices. Many fast foods restaurants and a wal mart close by. Right next to the I10. Definitely recommend this hotel. read more

Hotel is not safe!!! We were staying there for work and our car was broken into right infront of the hotel! Management did not handle things well and was very unprofessional! They did not cooperate and were hard to get a hold of ! If you valuable your belongings please do not stay here. The hotel will take no responsibility !! We were not comfortable or safe after the incident but couldn't leave due to the rooms booked and we were traveling out of state ! my car had to stay in the front lobby for another whole night with no window!what a shame read more
