Did get one really tasty piece, Philadelphia. Sushi overall very disappointing. Mongolian stir fry was average but hot enough to not cause food poisoning and veg were very fresh and nice. Lychee jello was yummy if way too firm. Id love the real canned lychee,. Service was ok. I dont think we'll be back. Too mediocre at best and iffy health measures- tho what Chinese buffet isn't like that? If I did it would only be for Mongolian. Seemed over priced?

If you want a wide variety of brunch buffet options - everything from cereal, pancakes, and waffles, to fried chicken and bacon, menudo, and cake, go for it. The $13.99/person weekend brunch buffet is a decent deal given the variety of options. But none of it is good. The vibe of the place gives off a rundown Gatti's or arcade place with the entrance to pay. You self-serve your drink of choice, pay to enter the gates, and seat yourself at an open table. It's not dirty but not the cleanest, either. Cafeteria style. There was water/condensation dripping from the ceiling. The freshness of the food varies on the timing of your visit. During rush hours, they're turning food over more quickly and you can catch it hot and fresh. It was an experience to say the least - and maybe it's nostalgic for some and definitely a more affordable place to just get a little of everything.

Today, I stand very disappointed with my decision of going back to golden corral. Inspiring I placed my order online at 3:43 Pm Sunday. I arrived at the restaurant at four thirty order was not ready. I had to repeat my name to the same lady on three separate occasions. When she wanted to ask me the name of the order.I was waiting on. As for my order, online are pictures are very deceiving. It takes me back to a bait and switch type transaction. I ordered the catfish dinner, which clearly shows online. That is two fellas well as you can see in the picture that I provided those are not two fillets. Those are very small.Bite sizes of fish. Also on top of that, they had the audacity to put three french fries in my plate which I did not order french fries. But they gave me three french fries. Do some people may say that i'm being real?Petty about this review and the food. In this day and time where the economy is not treating anyone fairly. The restaurant business has no problem with raising their prices. If you're gonna raise your prices, you need to make sure that the quality and the customer service is there Bixby. Equip misleading your customers to think that they're getting something in which they're not getting. One last thing they allowed a panhandler to sit in front of their door to ask people for money going in and going out, while I was there, there was a couple of customers that brought it 21 of the cashier's attention, not sure. She understood what he was saying. But when I left the guy asked me for money, I just don't think that's a great place for that to be happening. It's a business.

The jumping fish and green beans have always been my favorite, but this time, I tried the Dry Pot Lamb as well. It was so good! But hey, you come here for a tastey and reasonably priced meal, not the service!

The restaurant owners need to acknowledge the uncleanliness in the restaurant. I'm saying this because I had to knock off a small cockroach before it almost jumped into the Sambar buffet tray. I was like ok whatever at least it didn't jump into but then minutes later what do I see?? A giant rat climbing the tv wire near the entrance and into the ledge below the ceiling. That was the last straw. I don't think I will ever be back here unfortunately but I hope for the sake of the restaurant they get some pest control and mitigate the issues

There were barely any people on a Saturday night which made us feel a little apprehensive after stepping in. The restaurant was dimly lit and restrooms were dirty. We were a group of 4 people, two of whom are Maharashtrian and know what the food tastes like. Comments for individual dishes: Vada pav - Not served with Mumbai pav but slider buns which is as unauthentic as can be. Sabudana vada - Crispy, tasted good, served with sweet yogurt. Pithla bhari - The worst I have ever had. Pithla was too runny, bhakri was downright stale/unedible. Pomfret fry - Fish skin was burnt, but taste was better than some of the other dishes. Puran poli - It was super thin, barely any puran filling and seemed to have been served after quick heating rather than fresh, the edges were unedible. Saoji chicken curry - Too much garam masala Triple Schezwan fried rice - This was the best dish among all those we ordered. It was served with manchurian gravy. A humble request to the restaurant management - please serve edible, authentic Maharashtrian dishes or remove them from the menu rather than misleading people.

Nothing stood out to me as amazingly delicious like some other Indian cuisine around Austin. The surmai fry had a piece of plastic on the plate (no it was not a bone). The buffet was not served during the time I was there but it seemed like just a small selection in the corner of the restaurant. I'm happy that a place like this is in Austin, but the service was so lackluster and the food was mediocre so I couldn't imagine myself going back.

My food arrived hot, which was a plus, but unfortunately that was about the only positive. I ordered the chicken shahi korma, medium spice, with plain naan. The korma had basically zero spice, even though I ordered it medium, and the portion was noticeably smaller than what I've received in the past. The naan was absolutely unacceptable. It was extremely hard, stale and had been sitting around for who knows how long. It just crumbled into pieces to where I couldn't even eat it and had to throw it away. After ordering from here so many times, I expected better. This was easily my worst experience with Bayleaf, and I was very disappointed with the quality of today's food. And to whoever packed the naan up, shame on you.
