Had a great experience with both the doctor and front end staff. Great place if you have VSP.

Nima is always on point with making sure my glasses are made correctly so they work with my needs in the cockpit. He is a wizard when it comes adjusting them so I don't look goofy and the glasses fit comfortably. All of the staff at Chesterfield Eyeworks have been helpful and pleasant over the years. No huge sales pitch, no pressure to purchase or try to add on more services or products than what you need. Unable to find them, we called around for an optician and found Queen City. They were able to take our replacement order over the phone, asked me to text a copy of the prescription (which thankfully we had with us) and then drive in the pouring rain to Springfield. Within a hour we got to the store, picked out frames and then waited just 15 more United to get complete glasses. They were literally faster than the McDonald's next door! Great service and great expertise. Highly recommended.

I understand that price is changed with insurance but they would zero my account out every single time on one pair of glasses. Recently they told me my glasses would be completely covered but then they told me I needed $47 to get my glasses for $57 to have the mail to me and I live in the same city. The glasses that I got in August last year are missing rhinestones and when I tried to push the thing of the bridge of my nose the glasses broke in half. They will not replace the frames. Which are a cheap pair manufacturer product with inflated prices. I called them and told them today that because of treatment and decline in quality that I would not be coming back she said okay thank you have a nice day and hung up. I will never go back here beware

This office is in walking distance from my house to my various doctors I have to see. They connect with my PCP & diabetic dr; sending them the test results. I had the privilege to be seen by Dr. Rice. He and his staff were wonderful. Each person I dealt with was excellent. Amy, Ian, KD and one other front desk girl I dealt with were just FANTASTIC. They were all attentive and caring. Then the atmosphere was modern and edgy. The office and machine they used are on the cutting edge of time. I would strongly suggest this establishment to any of my friends and family. Everyone should check this place out if you looking for caring people with quality care.

Truly, helped me understand how my children each were so different in how they see and process the world. SO THANKFUL he was a part of my parenting journey! My kids are 23 and 28 now. They have seen him exclusively for their eyes and processing. Except for that one time my daughter tried to see another eye doctor because of great distance, and she came home literally in tears and said, "Never again...only Dr. P from now on! I'll make the drive!" You have to meet him and be evaluated to really get it. I struggle with acuity (near-sighted), I have floaters from a partial retinal tear, cataracts in both eyes, and chronic headaches from an old head injury. I also struggle with trying to process too much information at once and get overwhelmed. He always knows exactly what to do. My daughter had a little processing issue that he helped her with in 1st grade and she was golden after that. My son processes quickly and I was BORING HIM TO DEATH. If you are reading this review, and you or your child are struggling with vision or processing/difficulty with reading especially, START WITH DR. PIERCE. He is top drawer, and just a super cool human. It takes a minute to get in, but be patient, you're in Oz now, and it's worth the wait.

When I went to get my eye exam, the receptionist seemed very unorganized but the doctor was fine. The individual that was helping to put my order in had no personality and showed a side of laziness when we asked about a certain frame if the business had it in stock. I walked in to get my glasses yesterday and I was not welcomed by anyone and waited 10minutes. I recieved one of two pairs of my glasses and the gentleman put my glasses in a foam package and he said they were out of eyeglass cases. To be fair, this is a really nice shop and they do have lots of nice frames, and there are several pricing tiers for those who want to save a buck. Where it all goes sideways is the confusing mishmash of BOGO deals designed to buffalo the unsuspecting customer, including multiple lens "enhancements", and a myriad of exceptions if you are using insurance. Employee was only cooperative when it came to upgrades/additions, and flat out refused to give me an idea on what my "out of pocket" was going to be without starting the actual purchase process. As a heads up, just be aware of your "out the door " cost, as well as the price on that "free pair!"

Everything is extremely expensive today and you should never get the used pair of glasses when you buy a new pair. They were doing the same thing when I walked in when I bought $1000 pair of glasses, the last pair The young man that was working with me was great and did a great job, but then when the lady was adjusting my glasses, she also lied to me to my face. That giving it a one. I don't like being lied to, and it took the fun out of buying new glasses and finally being able to see well because of stupidity and greed. It's exciting to get a new pair of glasses when you've had very poor eyesight for a while. That excitement was quickly robbed. And this is definitely the owner's fault not the employee's fault. It is his policy to do this. The young lady said it's like buying tennis shoes. You don't get the new pair you get whatever's on the wall. I told her these aren't tennis shoes. Piss poor policy, the young man was awesome. He did a great job but now I have to another trip in to get them adjusted because she also adjusted them so tight on my ear that my bad by the time I got I had to put my old glasses on. economy where you need every customer this is a very bad policy.
