Last summer I came to Spring Works because the rear wheels on my trailer had recently started rubbing on the fenders. I was told at the time that my rear axle was bent and would need to be replaced. I was not convinced the axle was bent, so I had a discussion with the floor manager to explain that if I had the axle replaced, I did not want to find out afterward that the wheels were still rubbing. I asked him to guarantee me this would not be the case, which he did verbally, so I told him to proceed. Your crew was unable to find a replacement axle, so they had one custom made with my approval. This cost me nearly $2000. When I picked it up, the rear wheels were still rubbing on the fenders. I spoke with the manager about this, and he offered to make it good. When he looked at it again, he tried to tell me the fenders were installed improperly. I reiterated that the fenders had been just fine for the first 3 years of ownership, so that was not the real problem. To make it good all he offered was to cut away part of my fender. I was not happy with that answer, but at least it let me pull the trailer again. Fast forward to this summer. The trailer has since been on two trips to Alturas, one last summer and one this summer. It has about 2000 miles on it since your work was done. On this most recent trip I noticed the brakes were acting oddly, so I crawled underneath to find that the mounting plates holding the new axle in place have completely failed due to metal fatigue. They are torn through, leaving the rear axle hanging by a single bolt. This is not due to rough use. If it were, the older front axle would show similar damage, which it does not. The mounting was inadequate from the beginning. I've spent $2000 for an axle I didn't need in the first place, and now I can't use my trailer because that axle has failed. Are you willing to fix it at no charge even though the warranty is technically expired? The answer was NO. Then ignoring all further communication. I had to take it to another shop and have it repaired for an additional $750.

Check-in area with coffee, tea, water and fresh fruit.

From the moment I pull in, they're organized and ready. There's no wasted time and no unnecessary waiting around. I'm always in and out faster than I expect without ever feeling rushed. It's rare to find a place where everyone carries themselves with such professionalism and positive energy every single time. 10/10. Highly recommend for basic oil changes.

Anyway, they failed to reattach a plastic shield that goes over the oil pan under the car and then as soon as we hit the highway on Sunday, it partially dropped off and started making a lot of noise as it dragged on the highway. Luckily this happened just one stop from our regular mechanic so we dropped off the car. Valvoline lost 2 customers yesterday, as I can't trust that corporate has my best interest in mind. They train / force their employees to sell, sell, up-sell! As an example, the cabin air filter is a $3 part that they charge $55 to change. It takes less than 3 minutes to change. The retail part is as low as $11.99 online. What a ripoff. And sure, we know we are being overcharged for the convenience- but when they start making what amount to costly negligent mistakes, it completely defeats the purpose.

I checked the usual suspects -- drain plug and oil filter -- for being loose, cross-threaded (or worse, missing). Nope -- all was fine. The leak appeared to be coming from the area where the oil filter was installed. My suspicion is that the vehicle was likely overfilled with oil, creating sufficient pressure to cause a gasket failure in the (very tightly installed) oil filter, or another gasket in that area. After replacing the oil filter and reinstalling the drain plug, I haven't had a problem since. Draw your own conclusions; I've made mine.

I have always use regular oil blends. This time when I brought the truck in for the oil change, they put synthetic oil in without asking. The truck does not need synthetic and it costs about ~$50 more than a regular oil blend. The operator said my truck was not in their system and that synthetic was recommended. Well the truck should have been it their system and Synthetic is not recommended. Their moto is "Your Choice of Oil - Fast Fair and Easy". I was not given that choice, was stuck with a product I didn't want or need, and it was not fair. So, I will make a new choice and take my the three vehicles some place else.

It takes them five minutes to takeoff the tire and put the sensor in and put it back together, but I was there for well over an hour Also the guy that I talked to when I first walked in there said they didn't have any sensors and then the manager came out and said that they did so I'm just not filling the honesty here Guess I'm looking for a new local tire services for our four vehicles

I tried correcting him multiple times and asked him to double check, but he dismissed me and insisted he was correct without even checking. I turned on my car and my tire pressure light immediately came on. I let another technician know, and instead of helping, he also dismissed me and argued with me for several minutes. I ended up checking it myself and showed him that what they had written down and filled was wrong. Only then did they fix my rear tires. No accountability, no apology at first--and the technician who made the mistake was laughing in the back. I had to point out that simply acknowledging the mistake and apologizing would've gone a long way instead of arguing with a customer who clearly raised a concern multiple times. Eventually they apologized, but the whole experience felt dismissive and unprofessional. It honestly felt like I wasn't being taken seriously. I've since seen another review describing a similar experience, which says a lot and you guessed it, it was women customers sharing the same concerns. Never coming back.
