I was very impressed with this auto shop. I called the day before and they were able to work me in to their schedule. Turned out that I needed a new radiator cap which was why my car was overheating and they flushed the radiator coolant and tank as well as giving me a new thermostat because of the overheating mess the thermostat up. Larry and Oz gave me wonderful service and explained what I needed as the diagnostics were done. The other service fellow was also excellent. I felt like I was in good hands, treated well and the costs for repairs were reasonable. They also went over and above getting me home because my car had to stay overnight and picked up via Lyft on their dime. Now that's service! read more

This AAA location is amazing. I'm pretty sure it's because they have an amazing manager, Ozzie, and an amazing service writer, Ron. This is the dynamic duo. The dream team. My 16-year-old son lost control in the rain and smashed the left front wheel into a curb. He was concerned that the auto shop would just start replacing parts all willy-nilly. So, when I dropped off the car, I asked them to please treat the work order as if it was their 16-year-old was having to pay the bill. Because mine was. They did exactly that. Instead of replacing everything all at once, they started the repair in stages. They fixed the wheel, replaced the tire, and then replaced the control arm and. Few other little things. At that point, they test drove the car, and it still needed a few parts. They then replaced another part, and then test drove the vehicle. It still needed another part. They then installed that part and test drove the vehicle. I love that they did it this way. Trying to save my son money and make sure that the repairs that were being done were the necessary repairs. They made the entire experience amazing. Ron is always helpful every time I bring any of our cars in. He's always kind, personable, knowledgeable, and communication driven. All things I appreciate. Ozzie, the store manager, wanted to participate in managing the repair as well. He kept his finger on the pulse of the repair, communicated with me regularly when I had questions and Ron was busy, and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. My car only came in with break issuesand when i got my car back, my reverse lights don't work they made my transmission leak even worse by using an impact to put the drain plug back in and didn't even clean it so it was covered in metal, and there was coolant leaking from the moment i got the car back. I was in town for a burrito and sadly my burrito came with a side of nail. After a few hours my car was whining about its new owie. I found McLea's on Yelp and they were able to promptly help me as a walk-in and patched my tire. They had me in and out inside of an hour (wow!) and the check-in deal on Yelp even worked too! Pricing for the patch was the same I've seen elsewhere e.g. in San Francisco. If you need a place to work, they have both indoor and outdoor seating and there's xfinity's public wifi thing (I don't know if McLea might also have wifi). Everybody was masked and the place is spiffy clean. About a block up the road there's a creek with a half-mile horse trail and some happy walnut trees if you just wanna go for a walk. read more

I was referred to McLea's when I needed an alignment on my car. I was so satisfied that I decided to go for an oil change. When I made my phone call Ton answered with a most professional tone and gave me options for when I could come in. I took one of the times and thanked him. Upon showing up for my appointment I was greeting by both he and Kevin and felt immediately comfortable in my options. No hard pressure sales but given choices to make on my own. As I was waiting in your outside area Kevin came out to explain that everything was done but the mechanic suggested that I would at some point need a balance. I went to McLeas and they told me my car was on the outs, and it was. They helped me to make the right decision and purchase a newer and better car months later when I could afford it. When I bought the new car I requested Harold as my mechanic, and he was a total rockstar!! He did a full inspection on the car and came back saying my tire pressure was FIVE points below what it should be and fixed that for me. They also change the tires and charge for a "rebuild kit" and then just use the same metal tire stems. I got charged for a rebuild kit and looked after and the same metal stems that I had on were still on the car. Very Scummy business and the salespeople are only worried about making their commission. Had some issues with wifes car, took it in for tire service, balancing, rotating, etc. Mcleas texted me a video showing that we had 2 bent wheels. That was kinda cool that they did that. We went and picked up the car, talked to them and ordered a new set of wheels...sweet looking Came in a few days later had them installed, no more issues, car drives like a dream now and the new wheels look great Customer service is excellent, they take the time to explain in detail everything they need to do, no upselling, honest and friendly, they really want to make sure you leave satisfied. 11-09-22- this review was a bit late. Been busy and now is my chance to say thanks to the great service here at this location. Used to be McLea's and the bad reviews here that lowered the overall score was from it's former name or owner. Just for those wondering! I had a fleet car under Holman and while at work, the red warning indicator light of overheating came on! It was emitting a white smoke on the tail pipe! The nearest one that the app gave me was this location as I was in the Cotati area. Had a pleasure to meet Ron. He was very polite, calm and approachable. He listens clearly to the problem and does not interrupt you, on what you are trying to explain! Salute to Ron! I had to leave the vehicle. They took the time to take things apart to find the source of leak! They did a pressure test for 2days. They needed to replace the water pump. Prior to bringing the car here, Firestone looked at it, and was told that it could be the radiator or a crack on the gasket. But did nothing about it! The technician who performed the inspection, John C., did a thorough and great job to find the real cause of the problem! Kudos to John! You're da Man! I had a rental car while the Prius was in their shop and picked it up 11/16/22. All the wait was worth it! What amazed me was the communication with this Team here is fantastic! Via text or email or call, they keep you updated! With pricing, of course! They even have photos and names of the team members who are currently working in your vehicle! That was a huge plus! It is easy to keep track in case problem arises or just to say thanks for the great job they did! Unlike Firestone, who is always on constant pressure of time, always rushing and you don't even know who did it or was it even done at all? I had l let them know that I was on a very tight timeline and needed the car looked at the next day at the latest and he guaranteed that they would be able to see it the next morning. Took my car in for some tire pressure issues - had a nail that was an easy repair for McLea's. I was able to call ahead and make an appointment to bring my car in, and there was a place for me to sit and wait outside while they did the repair on my tire. The whole appointment took give or take an hour. Ron was super helpful, and went above and beyond to help me change some dashboard measurement settings so my car measured PSI instead of KPA - definitely will return if I have any tire issues in the future. We determined the price, which after reviewing the bill, I saw only legitimate charges. Matt was kind and attentive.
