I contacted her, knowing by her reviews that she works Monday-Saturday, so likely wouldn't respond until the end of the day, or on a break, and more likely the following day. She responded within an hour! I gave her my availability and she gave me hers, which was mid September :( I booked it. That far out, along with great reviews, tracks for someone worthy! As much as I really needed a massage, I was willing to wait to see if she was that good. I figured I'd find some subpar massage and tough it out until September. She texted later that she had a cancellation. I snatched that immediately! Me telling ya'll this is like giving up a monster buck zone location, or a awesome fishing hole, or great-grandma's secret recipe, you just don't! Vonnie was everything and more I was hoping for in a massage therapist. She's kind, professional, knows what to ask and knows how to execute it! It was the absolute best massage I have ever had and I have had many and pretty good ones. Head-to-toe, she hit all the right muscles, pressure points, nerves. It was extremely relaxing and just what I needed. She earned every dollar and tip! I am booked for life! I hate writing this review because I don't want to ever have to wait, but I am paying-it-forward to her because she truly deserves it. Vonnie, you are the best! Never leave me hanging

From the moment I walked in, the spa felt warm, calming, and thoughtfully designed--an instant exhale. Autumn is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also genuinely attentive and intuitive in her approach. She gave me a full-service facial using Eminence products, along with dermaplaning and a light lymphatic drainage massage, and the entire experience was next-level. She explained everything she was doing, customized the treatment to my skin's needs, and created a perfect balance of relaxation and results. My skin was glowing, smooth, lifted, and refreshed in a way I noticed immediately--and it just kept getting better over the next few days. Autumn's touch is amazing, her technique is spot-on, and you can tell she truly cares about both skin health and the overall experience. Hideaway House Spa is a gem in Meridian, and Autumn is exactly the kind of provider you want trusting your face with--professional, skilled, and genuinely passionate about what she does. I already can't wait to book my next appointment. Highly, highly recommend!

For myself, I found that very off putting. Never something I had to do ever in all my years of countless massages. They don't ask a single question about what you like, any areas to stay away from, if you have any pain, medical issues, or what pressure you prefer. After several minutes of the employee grinding on my body with her elbow she finally asked me if it was ok. I said no, that I don't like elbows or forearms to be used while massaged. She apologized and then continues to do it. After another 15 minutes of cringing and crying (my face was in the table so I'm sure the employee had no idea) I asked her if we could just be finished. She was shocked, told me to wait, walked out of the room, and I heard her speaking another language loudly to another employee. I assume it was the owner or her manager. Then a different women came in and aggressively and quickly half way wiped off the insane amount of oil they used off my body. They said nothing to me to ask me why I would want to be done. I got dressed and when I walked out you could see and sense the women at the front desk was displeased with me. I asked politely if I could use the restroom, she said yea and pointed where to go. When I returned to the front I simply looked at her as I was walking out and mumbled "thanks". She had a look like she was ready to battle me for the money. As I continued out the door you could she her demeanor change, as she realized I just wanted to leave. She never asked me a single question to see what happened. I paid $100 for 30 minutes of wasted time. I woke up the next morning and was very sore from where they shoved their elbow all over my back. I would have rather paid more money and had an enjoyable experience and massage. If you want to save a few dollars, do it in other ways like shopping on the sale rack for clothes, but not on a massage. Go to a real business where you will actually get at least what you pay for.

I began looking online, but everyone requires an appointment so I decided to just go in to Lotus this morning to schedule an appointment and was surprised when she said they could do my massage right away. It was truly a massage therapy, no wishy-washy super light touch "fake" type of massage. My therapist was the perfect combination of medium pressure to harder pressure (but not overwhelming to the point you can't breathe), and only in the most necessary spots. I look for 3 main things in a massage business; (1) Ambiance, (2) Great massage, and (3) No talking from my therapist. This place has it all. It is clean, quiet, great lighting (very soothing), nice, gentle music, beautiful decor, and has individual rooms for the massage. Now, there is a little bit of a language barrier, hence why there's no talking....love that! And it only got a 4 star because their credit card machine was broken, so I had to go back home and get cash, but not a huge ordeal. They used hot stones, warm oils and a true "full body" massage that leaves you light-headed and super relaxed at the end. My therapist was so sweet and she did an excellent job. After I was done, I could turn my head left to right with no pain! I HIGHLY recommend them, just call first if you aren't going to pay in cash (no checks either).

In the past company trips, I never had time to visit the areas. Except I did have some time this time to see some of the local area of Meridian. It is a beautiful area. This time, it was. a little different. I was feeling the aches and pain of traveling for the company, when I discovered the Bamboo Massage Spa located in Meridian. I called to make an appointment for a back massage. A receptionist greeted me when I arrived. I told her that my lower back needed treatment for my soreness. The receptionist went to see who was available. The receptionist took me to one of the rooms. The therapist asked what type of lower back pain did I have and did I know the cause? I told the therapist that the pain seems to be from the long airplane flights and setting in several meetings at different companies with the buyer representatives. I told her that I am a salesman for the company and I did a lot of traveling and setting in many meeting with potential business clients. Sorry for the long back grown story. But, important to give a little background and the results of my appointment. The massage appointment resulted in giving me a lot of relief from the lower back pain that I started with. The massage therapist was a trained in the art of healing. The Bamboo Spa was clean and quiet with music playing on the business speakers. Thank you to the staff at Bamboo Massage Spa for a professional back massage. Gerry
