I contacted her, knowing by her reviews that she works Monday-Saturday, so likely wouldn't respond until the end of the day, or on a break, and more likely the following day. She responded within an hour! I gave her my availability and she gave me hers, which was mid September :( I booked it. That far out, along with great reviews, tracks for someone worthy! As much as I really needed a massage, I was willing to wait to see if she was that good. I figured I'd find some subpar massage and tough it out until September. She texted later that she had a cancellation. I snatched that immediately! Me telling ya'll this is like giving up a monster buck zone location, or a awesome fishing hole, or great-grandma's secret recipe, you just don't! Vonnie was everything and more I was hoping for in a massage therapist. She's kind, professional, knows what to ask and knows how to execute it! It was the absolute best massage I have ever had and I have had many and pretty good ones. Head-to-toe, she hit all the right muscles, pressure points, nerves. It was extremely relaxing and just what I needed. She earned every dollar and tip! I am booked for life! I hate writing this review because I don't want to ever have to wait, but I am paying-it-forward to her because she truly deserves it. Vonnie, you are the best! Never leave me hanging

From the moment I walked in, the spa felt warm, calming, and thoughtfully designed--an instant exhale. Autumn is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also genuinely attentive and intuitive in her approach. She gave me a full-service facial using Eminence products, along with dermaplaning and a light lymphatic drainage massage, and the entire experience was next-level. She explained everything she was doing, customized the treatment to my skin's needs, and created a perfect balance of relaxation and results. My skin was glowing, smooth, lifted, and refreshed in a way I noticed immediately--and it just kept getting better over the next few days. Autumn's touch is amazing, her technique is spot-on, and you can tell she truly cares about both skin health and the overall experience. Hideaway House Spa is a gem in Meridian, and Autumn is exactly the kind of provider you want trusting your face with--professional, skilled, and genuinely passionate about what she does. I'm a big fan of massages but I had never tried a Thai massage before so I thought I'd give it a…read morego. When I called I wasn't really given any info about the massage which was surprising. From my research, you're supposed to wear loose, comfortable clothes for Thai massages as you remain dressed. Its considered "passive yoga" because the therapist stretches you in various positions. That wasn't mentioned on the phone so anyone who is not familiar with this type of massage could easily come in office attire by mistake which wouldn't be appropriate. Be sure you wear comfortable clothes if you're expecting the Thai massage. Anyway, upon arrival I was greeted by name and brought in. Its a small office with a back room, a desk area and the massage room. The room it self was nice and clean and she had nice music playing. I filled out the basic paperwork and we discussed my issues. My hip had been hurting me for weeks so Sweetie thought it'd be a good idea to just do a regular massage instead of a Thai massage for my first visit and that I'd benefit the most from that. I agreed since I really was in a lot of pain and figured she'd know best. The massage itself wasn't bad or painful like some are. It was a little strange that she didn't really use much lotion so I felt a lot of friction. But on the other hand I didn't feel all greasy afterward either. Half way through she started doing some of the Thai massage stretches on me which was a little bit weird since I was undressed for the Swedish massage. I just went with it. If I had felt the need to be modest here it could have really bothered me but I'm too old to care now. It really does feel nice to get a really good stretch. There does come a point during the massage where it occurs to you that you just paid a Thai woman to stand on you. Sweetie is very nice and made casual conversation during the massage. She seems like a genuine "people-person" and seems to enjoy learning about someone new. Overall the massage and stretches actually really helped my hip and I immediately felt better with no more hip pain at all.

In the past company trips, I never had time to visit the areas. Except I did have some time this time to see some of the local area of Meridian. It is a beautiful area. This time, it was. a little different. I was feeling the aches and pain of traveling for the company, when I discovered the Bamboo Massage Spa located in Meridian. I called to make an appointment for a back massage. A receptionist greeted me when I arrived. I told her that my lower back needed treatment for my soreness. The receptionist went to see who was available. The receptionist took me to one of the rooms. The therapist asked what type of lower back pain did I have and did I know the cause? I told the therapist that the pain seems to be from the long airplane flights and setting in several meetings at different companies with the buyer representatives. I told her that I am a salesman for the company and I did a lot of traveling and setting in many meeting with potential business clients. Sorry for the long back grown story. But, important to give a little background and the results of my appointment. The massage appointment resulted in giving me a lot of relief from the lower back pain that I started with. The massage therapist was a trained in the art of healing. The Bamboo Spa was clean and quiet with music playing on the business speakers. Thank you to the staff at Bamboo Massage Spa for a professional back massage. Gerry
